Chapter 55 Chapter 28 (i)
JIGO
“I can’t believe you confessed your feelings inside an office in a nightclub,” I teased her as I continued to kiss her wherever my lips would land. At this moment, I knew I could say anything and she would just give me that lazy, tinkling giggle that’s just so damn sexy. And I would do anything to always hear that.
I’d transferred her to the couch. We promised ourselves a minute more after I’d cleaned her up with tissues in my office’s bathroom and she’d checked her make up and our clothes. She just let her hair down and mused. It’s been like that since the dance floor. Happy eyes met mine and I felt a surge of emotions in my heart. I took a deep breath.
My love… I’ve married my love and now, she loves me back. I couldn’t almost believe my eyes. A glitter distracted me and it was the rings with a diamond pendant peeking at the neckline of her bodycon. I pulled it out. her wedding ring and engagement ring. I have mine in a chain inside my shirt.
I lowered my head to kiss the rings and the skin where they lay. I took another breath to inhale her scent. She smelled so good and contented. Just the way I like it.
When I went back to her beautiful face, her eyes were pensively staring back at me.
“You wanna go back?” I asked softly. I felt as contented. I’d never felt like this and I told myself there would be no exchanging this for anything in the world.
She shook her head. “I just want to tell you… when we married, I already felt like this.”
I felt the grin tugging at my lips. “I suspected.”
“You suspected?”
“I know you enough that I knew I’d not be able to convince you to do anything if you don’t want to.”
“Oh, I do want you…”
My chest constricted. Oh, this woman and her words…
“But that’s… you do know that already.”
I nodded. “Or you never would have asked me distract you that first night.”
“You were so damn sexy…”
I laughed, surprised. No hold barred now. “And you were so damn hot…”
She sucked in a breath, and I felt satisfied. It took a while before I could convince her of that. The Fae I used to know didn’t have a clue about how hot she actually was. Eyes that could stare you down if she chose to look you straight in the eyes, sensual full lips. She was a born femme fatale. I’d wondered how her lips would feel when I kiss them when I was ten.
“We can continue this at home and we have all night long,” I told her after a long, lingering kiss. “Right now, your friends would be wondering… or they might not.”
I laughed when her eyes widened as she remembered her friends. She squeaked. I helped her get up. she rushed to the mirror again to check herself and came out checking the time on her phone, her face blushing adorably.
“At this point, they wouldn’t be wondering what we’re up to. They’d be hounding me about how long I’ve lost my virginity!”
“When do you plan to tell them everything?” I asked as I helped her hide the rings under the cloth of her dress again, between those adorable cheeks of her cleavage I wanted to kiss. But I pushed the neckline instead of doing that because we’d never get done here if I did.
“As soon as I can. Obviously not tonight yet, though. They’re already a bit drunk,” she said with a bit if a frown on her face. I knew she felt a little worried about keeping us from her friends.
“We can arrange something the soonest you four can have time to get together,” I said, thinking already of a plan for the weekend.
“Yes, yes. How do I look?”
“Fantastic,” I said, my eyes still lingering on her figure, only to come back to amused, sexy eyes. I wanted to kiss her again, but she had just applied lipstick on. I didn’t tell her there was no way she could hide she’d been kissed so thoroughly. Those cherry lips were puffy. “You’re so beautiful.”
“Jigo…” she huffed. Again, in a way as if I was just humoring her.
“Stop… or I’ll muss all this up again. You are sexy and hot and so damn beautiful that I’m glad we’re already married the first time you brought this body inside a nightclub, Mrs. Myrick. I still wonder how…” I stopped.
“Carl missed it? Because it’s not like that,” she finished for me, while adding how she saw it.
