Chapter One Hundred and Fifty-Five - Returning Home

(Hey, everyone, this book is coming to a close, maybe between 6-10 chapters, it depends how it flows, could be less or more. I need to wait and see what ideas come to mind.)

Alyssa

We are officially back in the US. A week later than initially planned. We stayed in South Korea for an extra week. It was a last minute decision. Neither of us was in a rush to return home, but we had to, eventually. We needed to get back to reality. Our time away has been incredible. It was a dream come true and something I never thought I would experience.

"Thank you for travelling part of the world with me, baby girl," Wyatt says as we get into the waiting car to take us home.

"Thank you for showing me part of the world, my love." I smile and rest my head on his shoulder.

"I wish we could have done it for longer." He replies and kisses the top of my head.

I am exhausted after a fourteen hour flight. Wyatt slept on the flight, but for some reason, I couldn't. Too many different time zones in the last couple of months.

"Me too," I whisper and nuzzle my face in his neck.

"We can do it again sometime."

There is still so much of the world to see. "I would love that very much."

I have a long list of other places I want to see.

"Try and rest, sweetheart. I know you didn't get any sleep on the flight. I will wake you when we arrive home."

I nod, too tired to fight it. He places his jacket over me and reaches down to kiss me softly. I smile and moan into the kiss. He chuckles and parts from it.

"Have you not had enough of me yet?"

I shake my head. "I will never have enough of you."

"Good to know, now rest." He states firmly.

"Yes, sir." I giggle.

I cuddle into him, close my eyes and wait for sleep to take over me. It will only be a nap, but hopefully, it will be enough until tonight. I want to get back in the right time zone and quickly. I will force myself awake after my nap in the car. As much as I have loved our time away, it will be nice to be back in our bed. I can officially move in and leave my apartment behind. I quickly feel myself beginning to drift.

I wake with Wyatt gently shaking me.

"We are home, baby girl." He says softly.

I groan, "No."

Wyatt laughs, "Do I need to carry you inside?"

Oh, it is tempting, but I shake my head. I pull myself together and climb out of the car. Wyatt grabs our cases. I don't have the energy to help, and it's not like he would allow me to, anyway.

I let us in, and he drops the cases by the door. "We can deal with them later."

I nod in agreement, "Good idea."

The house is empty. Angelina returned to her place last week. She and I had made plans in a few days. It would be good to see her.

"I really want to go to bed," I whine.

"You can't. You sleep now, you won't sleep later." He reminds.

I huff and cross my arms over my chest. "Not fair."

Wyatt chuckles and brings me to his chest, his arm wrapping around me. "You are cute when you are all cranky and pouty."

I glare at him. I open my mouth to lecture him, but I don't have the chance to say a word. His lips come down on mine. Anything I was going to say has been forgotten. Instead, I moan and happily kiss back. Much to my disappointment, he pulls away after only a moment.

"I am sure we can find ways to keep you awake, sweetness." He smirks.

"Mmm, what did you have in mind?" I purr and tug my lower lip between my teeth.

"I am sure the playroom has been feeling lonely and missing us."

"We can't have that."

We have missed that room. We found some clubs and things on our Asian part of the trip, but no matter how fun they were, nothing beats our time alone in the playroom.

"First, we find a way to build your energy up or at least wake you up." He says.

As much as I would love to hear straight for the playroom, he has a point. I will be useless to anyone if I am tired and lacking energy. If we go in too soon, I will fall asleep too early, but I know for sure we will be spending a couple of hours in it before we go to bed.

"I guess…"

"Trust me, kitten, I want nothing more than to toss you over my shoulder and take you straight there and do so many naughty things to you, but I don't want you passing out on me. We will shower, eat, get some coffee in you and maybe swim and only then will I give you what you need. I need you on full form." He states firmly.

"Yes, sir."

"Good girl."

He kisses my forehead and takes my hand, leading me to the kitchen to make coffee. He demands for me to take a seat. I don't tell him no.

"When do we need to go back to work?" I ask.

"I need to go back tomorrow. You can take an extra couple of days."

"No, it is okay. I will come back tomorrow, too."

I want to get back to work and get money. I am running a little low. I won't tell him my concern because I know what will happen. He will lecture me, tell me I don't need to worry about money, and he will take care of me. I would rather not get into that topic of conversation again. I don't even want to imagine how much money he spent for our trip and everything he spent while we were away. It must have been a fortune. If I asked, he wouldn't tell me. He doesn't like to discuss finances with me.

"We will see how you feel in the morning. If you are still tired, you won't be going. I don't want you getting sick because you are exhausted."

I stop from rolling my eyes, "Yes, boss."

"Is that sarcasm I hear in your voice?" he asks and turns to face me.

I shake my head, "No, sir." I whisper.

"Good because if it were, you would be paying for it later." He replies smugly and turns his back to me.

I don't understand why he still thinks saying those things to me is a threat. It isn't. I love all the things he does to be for my misbehaving and attitude. I can push his buttons along the way until tonight. I will be more than ready for whatever he has to give.
