Four Years Later

Four Years Later
Mark's POV

Four years later, Gray and I have three kids. Lana is six years old. She is always inside her room. She always lies on her stomach on the ground, sketching anything. I cannot help but stand in the doorway and look at what she is sketching. She doesn't know that I am standing here. She is sketching a dolphin jumping out of the ocean. She takes that talent after her mother.

"What are you drawing?" I ask. She looks over her shoulder to me before she turns her attention back onto her sketch.

"Just a dolphin," she says. She never says too much, she gets straight to the point.

I walk further inside of her room and I look at all of the sketches that Gray helped paste on the walls. There is one family that was sketched recently. "Dad! You nearly stepped on my drawing!" she says as I look down. She sits up with a heavy sigh.

"Sorry, I am just fascinated with your drawings." I say. She stands up from the ground and she places her dolphin sketch on the little desk in the corner. I look at the family sketch again.

"That is mommy holding Weston, that is you holding mine and Jordan's hand with Rufus." she says as she stands next to me, explaining the sketch. I smile.

"That is very impressive." I say. I sit down on her bed. I hear Weston crying and Gray is with him. We have a son, who we named Jordan. He is four years old and then this year Gray gave birth to another boy. We named him Weston in honor of Weston. Rufus is a stray dog that we got along the street when we all took a walk to the park. Rufus is a Jack Russell.

Lana steps away from me and then she comes back with a page in her hand. "This is Bradley, aunt Amber and uncle Mari." she says. Mari was the name that she had called Mariko ever since she was younger, as she couldn't pronounce his name. I guess she is sticking to it.

"That is lovely." I smile at her.

"I have more drawings that I want to draw, but you disturbed me, daddy." she sighs as she walks away. I chuckle. Jordan kicks a ball inside of her room. "Jordan, you can't play with the ball inside of the house and not in my room." she lets out a heavy breath as she takes the ball and she throws it out of the room.

"I will play ball with you." I say to Jordan as I get up from the bed. "Your sister wants to draw." I say as I walk with him out of Lana's bedroom. Jordan has my eyes too. His brunette hair falls around his face. He takes the ball and he carries it down the stairs. When we reach the bottom, Gray is bottle feeding Weston in her arms. "How is he?" I ask. "Jordan, I will be right there." I say and he goes to the kitchen. I walk towards Gray.

"He is just hungry." she says, looking down at him. He has her eyes.

"Let me know when I can take over. I will be keeping Jordan entertained in the yard." I say.

She looks up at me and she smiles. "Is this everything that you could imagine?" she asks.

"It's more than that. It is a lot to handle, but I'm happy. It is our family. Remember that we need to try for baby number four." I smirk at her.

"With baby number four, I think that we should wait two years. I can't handle another baby so close after Weston and I know that you will help me with Lana and Jordan but I need the time." she says.

"No rush. I will be outside." I say. I walk away with a smirk.

When I step outside, my heart felt as if it wanted to jump out of my chest. I run towards the pool and jump inside of it. I swim towards Jordan and I take him in my arms. He coughs, he was busy drowning in the pool. I step with him out of the pool and I sit down with him on my lap by the edge of the pool as he coughs. I rub his back gently. "You scared me." I say.

I see that the ball is floating in the pool. He must've tried to get the ball and fell in. He can't swim yet. He started his first lesson last week with Lana. I hold him in my arms, warming him up. He stops coughing. "I tried to get the ball." he says.

"Next time, wait for me, okay?" I say as I make eye contact with him. He nods. "Are you feeling okay?" I ask. He nods. "Let's get you dried up and in warm clothes." I say and I stand up with him. I carry him inside the house.

That was a few of many scares for me. There was one night when Lana couldn't breathe and we rushed her to the hospital. She was fine. I can't believe that we have more heart-stopping scares when it comes to our kids compared to what happened with us before we had kids.

As a father, I would do anything for my kids. They are my everything. I will sacrifice anything for them because they are my life. We created these beautiful kids. Although Lana and I were inseparable, the more she is all to herself in the bedroom, sketching and I miss the times when she would just be with me. I guess she notices that the other two need our attention more, but she will always be my little girl. The one that we nearly lost.

Gray's POV

I see Mark carry Jordan up the stairs and they are both wet. I was done bottle feeding Weston. I was busy putting him to sleep. But worry came over me when I saw them. I stand up from the sofa and I walk after them up the stairs. Mark takes Jordan inside of the bathroom and I stand in the doorway as he places Jordan on the ground.

"What happened?" I ask, still holding Weston in my arms.

"He fell in the pool, trying to get the ball." Mark says as he takes a towel and wraps it around Jordan.

"Gosh, Jordan, you ask me or daddy to get the ball if it's in the pool. Do not try to get it because this is what will happen." I know I might be overreacting but my child almost drowned.

"Gray, he knows. Let me take care of him." Mark says, he holds my gaze, sensing my panic as he is crouched down in front of Jordan. I take a deep breath. I nod and then I walk away from the bathroom.

That is a scare for me. Jordan is lucky that Mark got to him when he did. I walk inside of the nursery and I place Weston down in the crib as he continues to sleep. I place a blanket over him.

I walk out of the nursery and then I check up on Lana. She is sitting by her little desk and sketching. I walk towards her. "What are we sketching today?" I ask.

"I am finishing my dolphin drawing that daddy nearly stepped on." she says without looking at me. She is definitely my child. She was hardly with me when I would sketch for the web designs because she was mostly with Mark and then, all of a sudden, I noticed that she started sketching random things.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?" I ask.

"Um...I don't know," she shrugs. "Maybe a painter...or a ballerina." she says without looking up at me.

I smile. "I always wanted to sketch and do web designs. I made it happen and now many people love it. If you want to be any of those, you can make it happen. You have talent and I believe that you will go places." I say to her, and then she stops her sketching and looks at me with wide green eyes.

"Really?" she asks with excitement,

I nod. "Yes, daddy and I will help you." I say.

"Daddy says that I will have to do business, so I don't know what that means" she shrugs.

I sigh. I see where this is going. He wants to prepare Lana to take over his business one day. Can she even have her own dreams to follow? I know that he spoke about Lana getting the company one day but he has to at least let her do what she loves too.

"I will speak to daddy." I smile at her and then I walk out of the room. Jordan walks to his room in dry clothes. Mark walks out of the bathroom. "We have talking to do." I say and he looks at me, confused.

"After you." He gestures with his hand to our bedroom and I walk inside of it. He follows after me, closing the door behind me. He grabs my wrist and my back is pressed against the door. Mark cages me in, my chest heaves with each breath that I take in.

"I am dying to f^ck you." he says with a low voice and it turns me on.

"Then f^ck me, daddy." I smirk at him.

"F^ck, you're a naughty little girl." he growls and I giggle. His lips crashes against mine. He pulls away as he takes off my t-shirt, exposing my breasts. I didn't bother to wear a bra. His hands move to my breasts and he fondles them. My breath hitches. "I love these." he says and he lowers himself as he takes my breast inside of his mouth and I bite my lower lip. I feel the familiar sting as he bites down gently on my n^pple. I gasp. He does the same to the other one. My hands move through his hair, gripping it lightly as he groans.

He kisses me along my collarbone, up my neck and jaw until his lips meet mine. His tongue enters my mouth and I let out a moan. His hands travel down my frame and they stop by my leggings and he pulls them down, breaking our kiss. My breath hitches, I step out of my leggings and he stands up. His hands are cupping my ass and he lifts me up as I wrap my legs around his waist.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he enters me with force and I gasp as he groans, his lips parted. "F^ck, this always feels like the first time." he says through his breaths. He starts to move at a steady pace until he picks the pace up, as there is a knock on the front door.

"There is someone at the door and the kids-" I say through each breath.

"F^ck them, I'm f^cking you." he groans and then he pounds into me at a frantic pace and the knock continues at the front door. Jordan knocks on our bedroom door. "F^ck." Mark says under his breath, and then his mouth lands on my shoulder and I close my eyes as he bites it. He releases his fluids inside of me and I bite on my lower lip and my org^asm takes over me. Our breathing is heard in our bedroom and the rapid knocks continue.

Mark and I have quickies when we can since having the kids. Sometimes Lana asks questions as to why we were so loud, as if we were hurting and if we were okay. Mark and I had to just say that we were playing and we were tickling each other. She was okay with that answer because she believed us.

After we got dressed, we opened the door. Lana and Jordan were standing outside of our room. "You told me not to open the door for strangers." Lana shrugs. We taught them to let us know if anyone was at the front door so that either Mark and I could see who it was.

When we got down the stairs, Mark opened the door and it was Rose. "Grandma!" Jordan was excited to see her. She hugged him and gave him a gift. His attention was on the gift as he walked further inside of the lounge. Lana hugged Rose and she also got a gift. "Thank you, grandma." she says with a smile and she walks away to join Jordan on the sofa, unwrapping their gifts.

"Christmas came early?" Mark smiles at his mother as she walks inside.

"Anytime is Christmas when it comes to them. I have one for Weston too." she gives me a gift bag.

"Thank you." I smile at her. Rose has improved on her relationship with Mark and she is improving with me too. She loves the kids and she is always here to spend time with them. Sometimes, she and Mark would go out for lunch together as they mend their broken relationship. Mark is happiest even though Rose has been trying. It makes me happy to see that they are getting close and its all because of Lana's birth that brought her closer to us.

"Mommy, I got a sketch book." Lana runs towards me, showing the sketch pad.

"That is nice." I say to her and she runs over to Mark and she shows it to him too. I have to remember to have a talk with him about Lana's future dreams. He will probably not be happy about it, but I will stand my ground on this one.

"Mommy, I have a truck!" Jordan runs towards me and shows it to me.

"That can go with your truck collection." I say to him. He grins from ear to ear and then he shows Mark.

Rose sits down in the lounge and the kids join her. I look inside of the gift bag and I take out a little stuffed animal. Mark stands next to me and I am holding the same stuffed animal...a white rabbit with long ears that Mark bought when I was pregnant with Lana. I look at him and he smiles.

We will wait to have another baby. Lana still sleeps with her rabbit every night, she loves it. She has to sleep with it in her arms. If she doesn't have it, then she cannot sleep. There was one night when the rabbit went missing. Mark and I had to look for it everywhere, just to be found in Jordan's room.

They have their own things that they like. We love them equally and that is how it will be.
