Chapter 50 50
Phoebe~~
We returned to the palace, and I had to think my life through. Every scene in the club resonated in my brain, and all I could do was breathe out heavily and lie flat on the bed hopelessly. Just a few days ago, I had said it was just then, but I had proved to him that I was indeed a whore last night.
Surprisingly, my pùssy wasn't bruised from too many times of being pounded. Even if I had to spread my legs again, I would get wet so easily and welcome that huge còck into my dampness.
After taking a little rest in my room, I headed to the slave yard to spend some time with Angeline. I explained to her how Knox came to the club and how it ended. I hid the drug in my brassiere when we were leaving, so that part was my only luck.
“You should be glad he didn't find out what you always did,” Angeline said to me, too, then brought up another topic so I could forget about last night.
I was so interested in the stories she told when a message came into my cell phone, and it happened to be from Knox. Dude was pleading that I not return to the club again, because he wouldn't stand it, knowing that I would get banged as he did to me last night.
To him, the clients find me irresistible and pay more than the actual price, but I wasn't that stupid to tell him the truth.
I didn't respond to the message, rather I left on my own that night again. Since I had enough money with me, I boarded a cab that would wait for me all through the night and return me to the palace, with the hope that the payments wouldn't be in vain.
That night, I did well to attend to a client before the next man came in. He looked wealthy, so I looked forward to getting a lot of money from him. His outfit alone smelled of money, and the way his gaze lingered on me told how much he wanted to mount on me.
I stood from where I sat and reached closer to him, about to begin unbuttoning his shirt, when he whispered to me, “Have we met before?” I looked up to him and shook my head. “So why are you wearing a mask?”
I scoffed. That question was one that I answered all the time.
“Actually, that's my rule to the management. No removing of my mask!”
“What if I dared?” he came again, and this time, my lips pressed together. “I have every right to take it off, and there's nothing you can do about it.”
Who does he even think he was to talk to me that way? None of my clients had ever threatened me, but here he was, doing so, irrespective of what it could result from the management.
I pretended I didn't hear his threat and simply let go of his shirt and walked to the table. I grabbed the bottle of wine there and raised it towards him, “Let's have some drinks first.”
He shook his head and sat on the bed, “I don't feel like. I'd prefer we get straight to the point.”
I narrowed my gaze. Who was this man?
“What do you say? I won't complete the payments if you don't take off that mask…”
“My job. My rules.” I snapped at him and frowned, with the mask still on. “So, want to have the drink? It energises us, and we get it done to your taste.”
He scoffed and opened his lips, then shut them again. For some weird reason, he didn't seem to be interested in what he paid for, because all my clients do not waste time undressing once they show up.
“That's not why I'm here. I don't share my women with anybody, so I would claim you first and leave traces of my semen on your skin,” he groaned, shaking his head.
I felt scared. My body hair stood.
He sounded like a predator, and I hated it. But of course, my wolf was an alpha too, just like him, so I had to hold my shoulders high.
“Sir, since you did not complete your payment, I would prefer that you leave so I could attend to the serious ones. When you've settled the management, then come back for me.” I said politely, but he stood to his feet.
His once soft expression turned dark, and I stepped backwards. “Don't you feel my alpha aura?”
“I know you're an alpha, and so am I.”
“I am Alpha Dean, the ruling alpha king of the Crescent Moon pack.”
Not now!
I blinked. I rubbed my ears with my index fingers, and then he repeated himself.
I couldn't hold onto myself but stepped back until my back was pinned to the wall. The alpha who was after Angeline and was a rival to Knox. What could he be doing here? How did he even get in when this was Knox’s pack?
“The best thing to ever happen to me was hearing about you working here, and then how you use drugs on your clients to make them feel so satisfied when they wake up from their sleep. How much more were you going to do?” he said and laughed at my face.
My heart began palpitating. He was indeed Knox's rival, or he wouldn't have the time to look into me that way. Was it that he had sent someone here whom I attended to, and they found out about what I do?
It couldn't be true. I had been so careful.
“Now that I'm here, you were also planning to drug me through that wine, right?”
I shook my head. How come the man knew so much about me?
He began pacing from one end of the room to the other. “If I exposed your plans, you would be stoned to death in this club, and even Knox wouldn't save your ass. But since I understand that you never loved Knox since he murdered your family, and was forced to do this, I would have you go with me, so your father can stop pestering my dreams.”
I raised my eyelids and stared at the man. “What do you mean? How do you know my dad?”
He chuckled, "He's my acquaintance, but refused me to claim you because you found your mate. How would he know that Knox had such plans and was disgusting?"
I looked away. He seemed dangerous, and I was beginning to feel that he was the one behind my abduction from the cell, since he was after taking me.
“Since this pack was developed, I do not know what Knox looks like, and I had just found out about his name after the tragedy that befell your family. So, even if he shows up here, I wouldn't know, and I do not care for now, because my priority is your safety.”
“That man is destructive, and I wouldn't want to hurt your father by letting you keep staying here and doing this. Staying with me means that you would surely get your revenge on him, so we have to leave.”
Still, I didn't feel like leaving with him. My dad never mentioned him as someone close to him, and recalling what Angeline said about him, I had every reason to see him as a demon, too. His words were enough to tell it all, and his process of taking me too.
I shook my head and lowered my face, “I can't leave with you, because I have my plans of exacting vengeance and I'm working towards it. Soon, I will have my family rest in peace, and the fact that you know what I do here is proof that Knox is my rival and I'm only doing this for my better.”
“Youre missing the point!” he blurted and came closer. “What you're doing now is so risky because you will certainly become a savior to Knox in the future. I am also not here to beg you, because I can take you away with my strength. Refuse one more time, and I will have you exposed. You've been mine from the onset, and not Knox’s property.”
What I feared most was my secret being exposed. He didn't ever mention Angeline, so I thought he must think that the lady is dead already. If there was a way to escape from him, I wouldn't hesitate that long.
“Lady, what are you saying? Do you even realise that this pack is being attacked? So you should be grateful that I came for you here….” he muttered, awakening my adrenaline.
My eyeballs almost popped out of their sockets, and I asked him, “Did you say the pack is being attacked? By who?”
He scoffed and turned around, then began making his way towards the door.
It was him. He initiated the attack.
