I heard Luna and Alex before I went to bed; hearing her scream his name turned me on. I wanted to join, but we knew she wasn't ready for that yet; that is why we both have been taking it slow. I checked into her room to find them both asleep; I climbed into bed with them and cuddled up to her.

I woke up a few hours later and found Alex sitting at the end of the bed; he seemed angry.

"Alex, you okay?" He looked at me concerned and then looked at Luna.

" I am worried about her, Nik." he stood beside the door.

I had never seen him worried about anyone besides me; I sat on the edge of her bed.

"Alex, we can protect her from anyone." We have never seen eye to eye about girls, but this one was our love. We looked at Luna; we got lucky when we first saw her. She was an Angel in disguise, almost too pure for this world. I thought about her every day after she disappeared; I never liked her old boss, Alex did business with him purely for the money, but he also despised him.

That man was swine; he talked about her like she was garbage, and his look made me cringe when he would undress her with his eyes. I closed my eyes and tried to control my breathing to avoid losing control of my anger. That Paskiainen scared her to return home, she had a mark on her neck from him choking her. I never want to see that fear on her face again, Alex and I couldn't protect her then, but we will make sure to protect her even better now. When she started the job, I wanted her to move in with us, but I didn't want to sound pushy. I have loved her for a long time, and now that she was here, I didn't want her to leave ever again. I looked at Luna's neck and where her neck bruise had been.

"Alex, I love her more than I have ever loved anyone; we need to protect her at all costs." I meant every word I said.

"Nik, I love her too. I need her to be safe; I want her to be ours now and forever. Whatever we have to do to that, we need to now." He meant it, I had been looking at rings for her, but I was scared to get one. Alex and I walked to my office in the house; I sat at my computer and pulled up the ring site I found for Luna.

Alex saw the perfect one for Luna, and we settled on a promise ring we would get engraved with our initials; Alex snuck into Luna's room and got her ring size for me. We ordered the ring to be sent to our house in Arizona; we would be moving there after we got back from our trip.

Since Alex and I both had meetings here, we had made the trip a week-long thing to get Luna to forgive us. We were in my office for so long Luna woke up looking for us; we closed the site and took her to watch tv.

We would return to Arizona soon, but I wanted her to understand how much she meant to us. Alex had the great idea of renting a movie and ordering Chinese food, so we had a stay-at-home date night. Luna sat between Alex and me; that was her favorite spot. She was the perfect piece to our puzzle, and I couldn't wait to show her the world. Ruusu laid her head on Alex's shoulder and put her legs on my lap. She would trade off ever so often but make sure to cuddle up to both of us in some way. Sharing her was like breathing when it came to moments like this; she made every moment with her seem like nothing could ever go wrong.

The doorbell rang, and I went to answer it; it was the delivery guy. So I paid and tipped him, brought the food to the coffee table, and ate until we were full. Luna put the rest of the food into the fridge; it took her a while to return to the couch. I noticed that she was sitting at the kitchen table; she seemed to be crying. Alex and I ran over to comfort her, but she was sobbing.

"Russu, what's wrong?" she didn't answer; she just held up her phone

Alex took her phone and checked for any more messages, the number had been texting her all day, but she never replied or looked at them. Luna started shaking; she was scared.

"We are heading home tonight; we will protect you at all costs" I held her while Alex called our pilot.

We packed our bags, and Alex's guard drove us to the airport to our private jet; we loaded up, and I noticed that Luna was still scared. " When we get home, everything will be fine" I kissed the top of her head, and she played on the couch and fell asleep. Alex kept calling his guards and the other bosses to find where the text came from; he even texted his businesses, threatening them if they thought about crossing him. Alex was terrifying when he was mad, but so was I; our father passed that part of the business down to him and the legal side to me. We had no choice but to learn a different way from the other, we could handle both sides of the business, but we hated switching off unless necessary. I watched Luna sleep while Alex handled all the illegal things to catch whoever threatened her. We knew we would be in the air for hours, but keeping her safe was more important than anything.
