*Ella*

Over the next few days, Alex and Nik have been distant, but I still get flowers from Alex at home and from Nik on my desk. Sometimes I get red roses from Nik and yellow roses from Alex, but they also switch it up. Something about the distance is driving me insane. I don't know if I did anything wrong, but I want to know what happened.

I was staying with Alex again today, but he has been staying at Nik's apartment; I haven't stayed alone since that day with Vlad. Fey is with me, but I want them here because they keep me safe and sane.

I started dinging from the group with the boys.

**Come to Nik's apartment and wear something pretty**

The text made me smile; I found a cute red dress that stopped right above my knees, had long lace sleeves, and had bits of gold. I was saving it for when we went on a group date. I went to the bathroom and found my gold headband with a red ribbon on it. I put on light pink lipgloss and some blush and head over to Nik's apartment.

*Nik*

I opened the door and saw Ella standing before me; she looked beautiful. She looked great in red and gold; she hugged me, then Alex. We went to my dining table and sat to talk. Alex told me about this text he received, but we aren't going to back away from our Russu. We wanted to talk to her about what she would like to do; Alex and I had discussed telling her about the bet, but we decided not to tell her. I think she was confused because we had kept our distance but had to figure out how to tell her about everything.

"Ella, we need to talk." She looked concerned about being called Ella instead of one of the nicknames we have given her lately.

"Okay, did I say something wrong?" she looked down at the table

" Ella, we would both like to date you, but there is one problem." Alex started, but I held my hand when I saw her eyes tear up.

" Do you not want me around anymore," She starts getting up and heading to the door.

" Alex and I have something to give you, but we both need to talk to you" She looked at us and stood at the door.

" So what is with the distancing yourselves from me?" She pointed at Alex first " I haven't had a good night's sleep since you did that."

She was angry, and I understood that because we didn't explain anything to her, we just left her alone and talked about our feelings but never talked to her about anything going on in our heads.

I walked to Ella and held her hand " We can talk about your feelings in the situation; we can sit down and talk about it all."

We walked to the couch; she sat between Alex and me. She looked at the floor, and we both held her hands.

"Nuuke, we are worried that dating the both of us will overwhelm you." She looked at us

"Being with you both won't overwhelm me." I walked to my closet and grabbed the box that held the Morse code collar, and brought it to Ella.

" We also want to talk about something else." Alex started and looked at me, nodding his head

" We know your real name is Luna, but we don't care about that." She looked at both of us, shocked and ready to run

" You are special to both of us, but we want to have no secrets between us." She was silent the whole time I talked, but she nodded and stood up.

" I'll tell you everything over time, but for the most part, my name is Luna Ella Summer." She smiled, saying her full name. I always wondered why she chose Ella as her name when she disappeared, but I think of her as my own Cinderella. That may be why she chose Ella.

I looked at them while Alex grabbed his necklace for her out of his pocket, we both put the necklaces on the table, and I instantly felt this nervous energy build up inside me. I've never been nervous about anything, let alone asking a girl be with me and my brother.

The thought of her joining our lives makes me so happy but we both have to tell her about something but we have no idea if she going to want to be with us after this.

*Alex*

I looked at Ella while she told us her full name and she looked at the necklaces we had brought for her. I took Luna's hand in mine and pulled her on my lap.

" We both have something to tell you, "She nodded and looked at Nik.

"Nik is on the legal side of business but I am on the more illegal side of business," She started playing with her hair.

"We don't usually let people know this because we like to keep everything seperate." Nik picked her up and put her on his lap.

"We also need to tell you about one more thing," I looked at my hands and stood up.

"We had a bet to see who could bed you first," After my last word she slapped Nik and I and ran out of his apartment.

We ran after her but she got to my apartment and locked the door before we could reach her, we heard her crying behind the door it broke my heart but we had to tell her, we wanted no secrets but this pain is what we wanted to avoid. We were so stupid to even make this bet but we weren't thinking with the right head when we saw her, I called her phone but she didn't answer.

I walked back to Nik's apartment, I hadn't noticed the tears streaming from my eyes until I saw Nik crying too, we knew we messed up our Ruusu trusted us and we ruined everything with that stupid bet. I want to do something big to apologize to her for our stupidity, I instantly started looking for flower shops that sold the biggest bouqets of yellow and red roses that you can find.

I even thought about taking her shopping for new work clothes and some new shoes, Nik took her shopping for casual clothes but I want to do something special for her. I just don't know what, I kept scrolling on my phone until sleep took over me. I dreamt about seeing Luna's beautiful smile again and kissing her sweet lips.
