Gerard's Pov.
I barged into the queen's chambers slamming the brown decorated doors open, furious with rage.
I saw her sitting on her throne and ordering the housekeepers and maids on what to do with her chambers with the decorations she had bought…
"Gerard.' she frowned.
"You are the queen of the ten realms. How could you be so cruel locking up Oceana in her chambers? Isn't she your daughter?' I furiously yelled at her expression.
"You must have a death wish. How dare you barge into my chambers in this warm afternoon to ruin my moment and teach me on how to train my daughter? Who do you think you are to speak to me in such a manner? Are we now on the same level to address me as your maid or what? What I do is not your business, Gerard. Do you want me to have you locked up as well?'
"I mean no disrespect Luna. I dare not drag your position with you, queen of the realms. Of course it is my business. Your daughter, Oceana is crying inside her room begging loudly for me to come save her. My fuck, she's only eight years old for crying out loud. You can't maltreat her in such a disgraceful manner as you please.'
"EXCUSE US.' She loudly commanded everyone to leave the chambers.
I couldn't stand looking at her one bit.
"Oceana kissed you on your dirty lips on the night of the full moon." She uttered as soon as they left. "Who taught her such indecent behaviors? She's nothing but a child and shouldn't know anything about intimacy between adults.'
"She's only a little Alpha, who knows nothing and does things she copies because she thinks they are the right things to do. She did it with me because she saw you kissing the Alpha King as well. She thought what she was doing was good. So, please let her go, she's innocent. I will teach the basics of doing things as an adult and a child.'
"When she kissed you, you did nothing but let her do as she pleases with you. You seem so close to my daughter it disgusts me. The way you look at her also irritates me. I hate seeing you around my daughter. Are you perhaps a pedophile?' she looked at me with so much disgust. I clenched my fists trying as much to not blow out my anger.
When Oceana kissed me I was stunned at her actions that before I could realize what was happening, her mother caught us both in the act.
She didn't even let me explain and kept beating up Oceana and dragged her away from him.
"You know me so well than to call me such indescribable names."
"You are nothing but a fake blood telling me what to do with my child.'
"I know Oceana better than you do. I'm always with her every step of the way. Release her, she's so naive and doesn't know what she has done wrong. I promise you Luna, that such an act would not repeat itself again."
"You are not even a true blood of the realms, you are not a real Daciana and you have the guts to talk to me in such a manner. How dare you, Gerard, what right do you have to influence my daughter to kiss at such a young age.'
"I never taught her how to do such a thing.'
"I can see you are trying to ruin my daughter's life so you can take over the realms because people are beginning to hail you and see you as the heir to the throne. Those words are getting into your head and you are trying to ruin my children's life.'
You make me laugh, Luna.' I ruffled through my hair. "Luna, I have no such intentions in your throne neither do I want to be an heir to something that isn't mine. We all know Oceana is next in line because Carmine isn't interested in ruling, he wants to be free. Same as me. I don't want to be all locked up all day in this suffocating place. Release her now.'
"I will not do that, Gerard.'
I flared up and walked out on her and dashed towards Oceana's room, barged into the room and saw her leg tied to a chain.
I bent down and used my claws, as it glowed green breaking the chains apart.
"Gerard, love.' Oceana cried and hugged me.
I hugged her too and carried her up from the floor.
"You are not leaving her, isn't it?' Luna yelled. "Let her go at this instant.'
'Then release her from the room or else, I would take her far away from here and you will never see her again.' I threatened with fury.
"Are you threatening me?'
"She's not an animal to be locked up in a cage, so let her go at this instant.'
"Oceana, come here.' The Luna shouted with a command but Oceana wrapped her hands on my neck even more and hid her face on my neck frightened of her mother's presence.
"The next time you lock her up again, I will tell the whole world about you. I will tell everyone who I truly am, so leave her alone. Any pain or abuse you inflict on her, I feel everything. I sense it and it hurts me to the bone to see you threaten her. If such a thing ever happens again while I am out there fighting for my life, I will do something drastic to you, Luna. Do not touch Oceana, she's your daughter as well.'
I held my mate properly and walked out on her with Oceana in my arms.
I dropped her down on my bed as soon as I got to my room and shut the door.
"How are you, Oceana?'
"I'm fine, Gerard, but my legs hurt.' she teary pointed at the red scar on her leg.
I carried her leg and massaged it. I looked at her again.
"Does it hurt, Love.'
"A little.' she replied and laid her head on my arm. "Your scent feels so good, Gerard.' she yawned and fell asleep.
I then sucked in my pheromones since she had slept already.
Seeing her sleeping soundly on my arm makes me want to mark and claim her this instant.
Why wouldn't she just grow up quickly? Why was time so slow? Fuck, I want her so much.
Fuck, I was hard.
I shouldn't have talked to Oceana's mother in such a manner but I can't stand it when something happens to Oceana. I can take anything else but not Oceana being beaten or imprisoned. I can't see my mate suffer, it hurts me and I know I will get tortured tonight by the Alpha King. Yet, I don't care if he flogs me with chains and all that. All I want is Oceana to be safe.
I carried her up and laid her down on my bed properly and kissed her on her soft plump pink lips.
But why do I feel a slight anger towards Oceana?
I was going out of control, slowly shapeshifting into my wolf form then the door opened.
"Gerard "
I realized myself and slowly went back to my human form.
"You know you can't be doing this, Gerard, you've got to control yourself." Carmine scolded.
'I wanna claim her so badly, put my mark on her to push all Alphas away from her.'
"Is that why you are always surrounding her with your scent as a way to tell them to stay off her.'
"Yeah.' I agreed.
'Don't you think it's a bit too much?
"It is not for me.'
"It will be when it becomes obvious.'
I felt a sharp pain on my chest, my breath seized for a second.
I rushed to Oceana and hugged her so tightly.
I was slowly shifting into my wolf form. I was getting into my rut, the pain was becoming unbearable, I roared holding Oceana so tightly to my chest.
Carmine ran and shut off the windows and doors to prevent anyone from getting in.
"Gerard are you okay?' he panicked.
I spilled blood out of my mouth still holding Oceana.
"Leave my mate alone.' I spoke in wolf speak and pushed Carmine with my blue powers away from me.
I was beginning to get lost in myself, my wolf was taking over me, taking control of my body because of our mate.
"Gerard, you need to calm down. You can't mark Oceana, she's only eight years old. Wait for a while before you…"
"Don't you dare get close to my mate, I don't care if she is going to die soon. I want her, do you have any idea how long I have waited for hundreds of years to be with her. Who the hell are you to stop me?' I yelled at him.
No! No! This isn't me. I wouldn't speak to Carmine like that. My wolf is the one speaking for me.
Stop! Stop talking. I screamed.
"Gerard. What's wrong with you?'
"Leave here and stop trying to take Oceana away from me. Just stop talking to her and pushing away from me. She is my mate and I don't care if she has a lot to do. I can mark her as much as I want. I can even tear her limbs apart one by one and hang her head up on a platter.' I laughed hysterically and grinned wickedly.
No, Carmine, please don't listen to him.
"Gerard.'
"I will make sure she suffers for the evil deeds of her father, I'm not letting anyone take her away from me. Do you know how she was born, the moon goddess be damned. I don't care who you are."
"You are not Gérard are you?'
"Who cares if I'm Gerard or not. I'm his doom. You must have a death wish for asking me such questions. Die, you Alpha of a bastard.'
Carmine shifted and lunged at me, pushing me to the ground by releasing Oceana as he gritted his teeth.
"I would not let you take over him and harm Oceana. Do you understand, Enric.' Carmine roared in wolf speak.
The dark hidden side of my wolf hates Oceana.
I am an Alpha with a curse written in a strange language at the back of my neck.
It is invisible to other people and I am the only one who can see it with my third eye above my head once I take a look at my neck in a mirror.
No one can see what I see. Only I, an Alpha, sees and notices all these things.
It was said that only my fated mate could see it.
Only then will I know that she is the one for me but I will be her love, failure and doom.
I will be her death instead of giving her peace and happiness.
I was told by a priest years ago. I could also sense it from the wolf stone.
"Gerard, what's that on your neck?'
I went still, in a daze I touched my neck and turned to an eight years old Oceana asking me a question with such an innocent look.
'What did you see in there, love?' I asked, getting close to her as I held her shoulders.
"Writings. It is written in Arabic, Gerard.' her blue eyes glowed. "It means "Curse" Gerard. Why will you have that on your neck? Isn't it a bad omen, Gerard?'

My eyes welled up as I hugged her and kissed her forehead.
"Don't say a word. Don't ever tell anyone that you just saw my love, okay.'
She agreed. "Alright, Gerard.'
"I love you.' I uttered with so much love in my voice.
