Chapter 179 Make love to me
Fabian’s hand hovered on the door. It was late and she should already be asleep right?

He remembered Fabian saying to give women time to cool off. She was angry. His hand slid down to his sides.

The sound of glass shattering snapped Fabian awake. He got up and opened the door and walked inside.
Heaven woke up on a bed. She was sure she had slept on that side of the floor. Her eyes moved around the room. She saw the window open, it was wet and even on the floor. Her eyes widened and she got up and knocked down the lamp on the table in the process it shattered.

“I sent Rayan and Sam to bring your grandmother so she could stay here with us. They should be here any moment from now. I’m sorry for even doubting you.”
Heaven's heart squeezed painfully. She was guilty she had indeed met Maverick there at the adult home and he was even here in her room. She understood Fabian insecurities. She didn’t even trust herself with Maverick. She was crazy and it needed to stop.
She took a step closer, wrapped her arms around Fabian's neck and pressed her lips on his. Fabian was taken aback at first but he soon got lost in the kiss. His hand wrapped around her back, their tongue intertwined.
Heaven pulled back enough to speak, breathing hard. “Let’s bring the engagement closer. Then the wedding a day after. One of the guards can drive me anywhere I go instead of tailing me.”

He bent down to Havilah who had remained quiet but vigilant beside her mother.
“I made a gaming room specially for you Avi, you wanna see?”

Immediately they disappeared down the corridor, the smile Eva wore vanished. Killian was being a pain in the ass. And she was frustrated about it. For days she had been coming to him. She had played along because of the secret she held but now he was exceeding the boundaries and requesting she bring Havilah too.
He has even bought a house which meant he planned on stretching this whole matter. Havilah had only one father and it was Maverick no one else.
Maverick had been treating her differently since the accident with Avi.. It was a huge step. Everything was finally falling into place with her and Maverick. She wasn’t going to let anything sabotage it.
Eva walked to the kitchen. The dining was arranged with cooked meals. Seems like Killian had it planned before bringing them over.
Havilah chuckled as she landed another blow on Killian on the screen.
“Avi, you play so well..” he praised her.
“I underestimated you, I wouldn’t let you inch close to me again.” He told her.
“Uncle Killian, I will find my way around. There are many ways to do this.. I don’t have to come close to you.” She pressed her pad and a sword appeared and slashed Killian’s game character.
‘Havilah wins flawlessly.’ A voice announced followed by a round of applause.
She jumped up and stamped her feet on the floor jittery. Killian chuckled, his heart felt full. He patted her hair.
“You are a pro. I guess I have to take classes from you,”he tickled her.
She laughed “Uncle Killian, I will teach you..”
The door opened. Eva walked in with two cups of orange juice with a sweet smile
“Sweetheart, come take,” she gave the little girl and proceeded to give Killian his.
“Thank you,” he said and took a sip from it.
Killian was happy with this but he wasn’t content. It was one step at a time she will be his and they will be one happy family.
“I saw you prepared lunch. Havilah hasn’t eaten anything this morning. She usually doesn’t eat much in the morning.” Eva said.
Havilah looked at her mother.
“Mummy—”
“I know baby, sorry mummy forgot. Uncle Killian wanted us to visit and I forgot you asked me to stop by the restaurant. Let’s go.” She grabbed her daughter's hand.
Killian followed after them.
They sat on the table. The food was steamy.
“You know how to heat food up?” Killian asked her surprised.
“I looked it up,” she said pushing the pie towards him.
Killian arched a brow in surprise. Killian cut a piece for himself. Eva’s eyes locked on it. He brought the spoon to his mouth and ate from it.
“Mummy, I want water.” Havilah said her mouth stuffed with chicken.
“Okay.”
Eva went to the fridge to get water she got back and saw Havilah putting a piece of the pie in her mouth.
