Chapter 92 Andrew Even Considered This
After leaving the auction, Olivia headed home.
As soon as she walked in, she went to check on Bianca.
Bianca had just taken a bath and was playing with Lightning in her room.
She was wearing a fluffy pink fox onesie, smelling fresh and looking adorable with her delicate little face. She was so cute that it could melt anyone's heart.
"Whose baby is this, so adorable and lovable?" Olivia asked, her voice full of affection.
Unable to resist, she hugged Bianca, kissing her all over and nuzzling her. Little Bianca giggled sweetly and replied, "Your baby."
Olivia was charmed by her voice and quickly responded, "That's right, you're mine. I love you the most."
Bianca hugged her neck and replied in a sweet childlike voice, "I love you the most too, Mommy."
Yara watched this scene, feeling warmth and happiness. Yet, she couldn't help but think, 'How could Mr. Johnson not appreciate this? If the family were harmonious, they would be so happy!'
After playing with Bianca for a while, Olivia went to her room to freshen up.
Before going in, she sent a message to David: [The medicine Mr. Hamilton requested has been acquired. Please inform him.]
David quickly called back.
When she answered, she heard Andrew's deep voice, "Did you get the medicine?"
"Yes!"
Olivia's ear tingled as if an electric current had passed through it. She instinctively rubbed it and asked, "Mr. Hamilton, are you not busy?"
Andrew's voice sounded a bit weary and huskier than usual, "Just finished up, about to rest. It's good that you got the medicine. I'll have David send you the prescription. This medicine needs to be taken with others to be most effective. As for the dosage, please have you personally prepare it. You're the expert in this field!"
Olivia had no objections. She felt more at ease preparing something that Bianca would consume herself. Andrew had considered even this!
She immediately responded, "Okay, I'll go to the lab first thing in the morning and start working on it."
"Good, then you get busy. Talk later." Andrew's tone was a bit lazy.
Olivia's ear tingled again, and she couldn't help but touch it again before saying, "Okay, goodbye!"
After hanging up, she put down her phone and went to take a shower.
When she came out, David had already sent the prescription.
Out of professional instinct, Olivia carefully examined each item.
In no time, she figured out the purpose of these medicines. They were all aimed at psychological and mental health. The ingredients were very mild, so even when mixed, there wouldn't be any issues.
After confirming, Olivia put away the prescription, sent a thank you message to David, completed her skincare routine, and went to bed.
The next day, after breakfast, she dropped Bianca off at school and headed straight to the lab.
She spent the entire day figuring out the dosage.
Andrew's prescription was even thoughtfully noted to add a sugar coating.
Because it was too bitter, he was worried Bianca wouldn't take it.
Olivia couldn't help but smile when she saw this. Andrew was really too good to Bianca!
After work, she took a photo and sent it: [The sugar coating is done. Bianca should like it.]
However, David didn't reply, probably busy again.
Olivia didn't mind and quickly went to pick up Bianca from school.
When they got home, they were surprised to see Vaughn and Victoria there.
Vaughn and Victoria seemed to have been there for a while and were busy in the kitchen. Several sumptuous dishes were already laid out on the table!
"Dad, Mom, when did you get here? Why didn't you tell me?" Olivia asked joyfully, looking at Vaughn and Victoria.
Victoria, wearing an apron, came over with a smile. "We got here in the afternoon. We thought you were busy, so we didn't say anything. Come in and wash your hands, dinner is ready."
"Bianca, did you miss us?" Vaughn eagerly greeted Bianca.
Bianca nodded her little head and answered in a sweet voice, "Yes."
Vaughn was so happy that he smiled, wrinkles forming at the corners of his eyes. He picked up Bianca and said, "Come on, I will take you to wash your hands. I made lots of delicious food for you tonight..."
Bianca didn't resist and obediently let him carry her.
Olivia was also very happy and quickly changed her shoes and went inside.
Victoria took the opportunity to observe Olivia's condition.
Since their last visit, Vaughn and Victoria had been worried about Olivia's divorce progress.
When they heard she had moved out with the child, they were even more concerned.
Finally, when they weren't as busy, they rushed over to visit.
Looking at Olivia, she seemed to have lost some weight. Victoria couldn't help but feel distressed.
In the afternoon, Vaughn and Victoria had admired the layout of the house and felt proud.
Olivia didn't need to rely on anyone and could afford such an expensive house! She was quite capable!
But now, seeing Olivia's thin face, they felt heartbroken. Olivia, raising a child alone, going through a tough marriage, and working hard, no wonder she was losing weight!
Olivia had just hung up her coat and turned around to see her mother's worried expression. She couldn't help but smile and say, "Mom, what's with that look? Aren't you happy to see me?"
Victoria shook her head and replied, "How could I not be happy? Your dad and I think about you every day at home! Now go wash your hands. Your dad and I cooked a lot of your and Bianca's favorite dishes tonight. You have to eat more."
Olivia had no objections and was about to wash her hands.
Just then, Evelyn came over for dinner, drawn by the delicious smell. She peeked in from behind Olivia and asked, "What's for dinner tonight? It smells amazing!"
As soon as she spoke, she saw Victoria at the entrance.
She immediately greeted politely, "Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith, you are here?"
Victoria clearly recognized Evelyn and smiled, "Evelyn, you're here too? Let's wash our hands together. I'll bring out the soup!"
Evelyn, feeling at home, quickly followed Olivia to wash her hands.
A few minutes later, everyone was seated at the table.
The dishes were all made according to Olivia's taste, looking and smelling delicious, making everyone's mouth water.
Before they started eating, Victoria felt a bit apologetic and said, "Evelyn, we didn't know you were coming, so we didn't make your favorite dishes. I hope you don't mind."
Evelyn waved her hand while swallowing her saliva, "I don't mind at all. If Bianca and Olivia like it, I like it too!"
"That's good." Victoria smiled and immediately served her some food, "Here, eat more. Don't be shy!"
Evelyn nodded and quickly put the food in her mouth.
After just a few chews, she loudly praised, "It's so good! Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith, your cooking is amazing. My taste buds are in heaven."
Vaughn and Victoria were naturally pleased to hear this.
"If you like it, eat more! Olivia told us you've been a great help to her lately. We really appreciate it!" Saying this, they added more food to her bowl.
Evelyn didn't mind, "Olivia and I are good friends. Helping each other is what friends do. You don't need to be so polite!"
Vaughn, while taking care of Bianca, was serious, "Expressing gratitude is necessary! Olivia is strong-willed and doesn't share her troubles. When we're not around, we can't help her much. We are so thankful for your support!"
Evelyn felt a bit embarrassed and quickly said, "There's no need! Olivia helps me a lot too. Plus, I come here to eat every day, so it balances out! And don't forget, you often send special products, and I get a lot of them!"
Victoria laughed, "You like them? Then take more when you leave. I brought plenty this time."
"Sure!" Evelyn's eyes lit up, nodding eagerly.
After taking care of Evelyn, Vaughn and Victoria didn't forget to serve Olivia more food.
The result of being continuously fed was that both Evelyn and Olivia ended up stuffed.
To digest, Evelyn took Bianca to play with Lightning.
Olivia stayed in the living room to chat with Vaughn and Victoria.
During this time, Victoria finally found a chance to ask, "Olivia, now that you and Bianca are living here, has Michael done anything to make things difficult for you?"
Vaughn also asked with concern, "How's the divorce going?"
Olivia didn't want to say too much and worry them, so she briefly answered, "No, since we moved here, we rarely see each other, so he doesn't have much chance to make things difficult. Don't worry, Mom, Dad."
"As for the divorce..." Olivia paused and then said truthfully, "I gave him the divorce papers, but he refuses to sign. To go through a contested divorce, I don't have enough evidence. If we go by separation, it takes two years legally, so I'm still figuring it out."
Vaughn and Victoria were visibly upset hearing this.
Michael didn't like Olivia, and had another woman outside, so why drag out the divorce? Was he intentionally trying to torment Olivia?
Sensing their anger, Olivia quickly reassured, "Mom, Dad, don't worry about this. I'll find a way to resolve it, okay?"
Seeing her calm demeanor, Vaughn and Victoria felt even more heartbroken. What kind of resignation did it take to become so unflappable?
But since Olivia had moved on, they didn't want to seem too upset.
Vaughn and Victoria nodded, not pressing further.
At that moment, Bianca came over with Lightning, saying, "Grandpa, Grandma, let me introduce the new member of our family. This is Lightning, my good friend!"
Vaughn and Victoria were delighted to see Bianca actively engaging with them and introducing the dog.
"Is this Lightning? It's so cute, just like you, sweetie."
"With Lightning, the house is lively. It can play with Bianca every day. That's great!"
Bianca nodded and said in a sweet childlike voice, "I love Lightning the most. Uncle Andrew gave it to me. It's very smart and knows a lot of tricks..."
She nuzzled Lightning and said, "Lightning, say hello to Grandpa and Grandma."
Lightning seemed to understand and immediately raised its front paw, waving at Vaughn and Victoria, looking at them, and barking twice.
Vaughn and Victoria were thrilled, "It's really smart, knowing how to greet people..."
Bianca nodded proudly, her expression full of pride.
Victoria, enjoying the family moment, immediately started chatting with Bianca and getting to know Lightning.
About ten minutes later, Lightning grew restless and ran off. Bianca quickly chased after it.
Only then did Victoria exclaim, "We've only been away for a short time, and Bianca's condition has improved so much. She's just like a normal kid now!"
"Isn't that right? It seems the school you sent her to is really good!" Vaughn was also full of relief and excitement.
Olivia explained, "The school plays a part, but most of the credit goes to Mr. Hamilton. He's the new psychologist I found for Bianca..." She detailed Andrew's role to Vaughn and Victoria.
After hearing it, Vaughn and Victoria couldn't help but praise, "Mr. Hamilton is truly impressive!"
Olivia was about to nod when she received a message from David: [Dr. Garcia, are you free tomorrow? Mr. Hamilton is back in Emerald City and wants to meet you at this location. Remember to bring Bianca!] Attached was an address.
