Chapter 355 Unchanged, Bullying You Again Next Time
Olivia's face turned bright red. She quickly pulled her clothes back into place, covering up those obvious marks.
She buried her head deep in his chest and complained, "Andrew, you're bullying me!"
Andrew's Adam's apple bobbed, his voice deep and magnetic, "Yeah, I'm bullying you. Let this be a lesson. If you don't change next time, I'll bully you again."
Hearing that voice, Olivia felt her legs go weak.
This time, it only went this far.
But if there was a next time, who knows what kind of punishment this man would come up with?
It might be even worse!
She really didn't dare anymore.
Face flushed, Olivia promised, "There won't be a next time. I'll be more confident from now on, and I won't look down on myself anymore. I promise!"
She sounded very sincere.
Andrew was finally satisfied, "I'll remember what you said."
He pulled her into his arms and carried her back to the bedroom.
It was getting late. Olivia grabbed her clothes and went into the bathroom to wash up. When she saw the obvious red marks in the mirror, her face turned red all over again.
This was really too much.
She didn't dare keep looking. She quickly finished washing up and wrapped herself tightly in her pajamas.
At the same time, she felt a bit surprised.
Things had gone that far earlier, yet Andrew had actually held back.
A slight smile played at the corners of Olivia's mouth.
This man's self-control was really something else.
However, she had no idea that Andrew had taken another half-hour cold shower after going back.
She slept well through the night, waking up naturally.
After washing up, she went to change clothes, getting ready to go downstairs.
But then she discovered that the marks from last night were even more obvious today.
Dense clusters of purple-blue marks that anyone could tell what they were at a glance.
How could she go out and face people looking like this!
Olivia felt embarrassed, but looking more carefully, she realized that Andrew had actually shown good restraint.
The darker marks stopped at her collarbone. The redness on her neck had almost faded.
Only the area below looked terrible.
The outfit she'd planned to wear was now out of the question.
To avoid being laughed at when she went out today, Olivia had to find something with a higher collar to wear.
That way, she could cover up those marks.
Only after changing did she go downstairs.
Andrew had already finished his morning run with Bianca in the yard.
The two of them, one big and one small, came in from outside, both covered in sweat on their bodies and foreheads.
Bianca's little face was rosy and flushed with healthy color.
The more Olivia looked at her, the cuter she found her. She didn't mind the sweat and went over to hug and kiss her, "Good morning! Bianca, you're up so early today!"
"Good morning, Mommy!" Bianca replied in a sweet childlike voice, her eyes crinkling with her smile. "Daddy says we need to exercise every morning to stay super strong."
Olivia laughed and gently rubbed her cute little nose, "Bianca, you're so good. Exercising is a great habit. Keep it up. I can't get up that early, so I won't join you guys."
Bianca nuzzled against Olivia and teased her, "Mommy, you sleep in. You're a little lazybones!"
Andrew came in behind Bianca, watching the mother and daughter interact, his eyes tender.
Just then, Olivia stepped forward, leaned close to him, and gave him a good morning kiss too.
A flash of pleasure crossed the man's eyes as he said, "Good morning. Bianca and I will go take a shower first, then come down to have breakfast with you. After that, we'll go to that conference you mentioned."
When they'd come back before, she'd mentioned it to Andrew in passing.
At the time, he'd said to leave it to him, so Olivia hadn't worried about it anymore.
Now hearing him say this, her eyes immediately lit up as she asked, "You got the invitations?"
"Yeah." Andrew nodded. In Harmony City, there was no event he couldn't attend.
Two invitations were just a simple matter.
Besides, he'd been to this conference before and had even donated funds for it.
In a way, he was one of the organizers.
Moreover, even without him, she could have gone anyway.
Medica Vitae Sect had invitation slots every year.
However, Andrew didn't mention any of this to Olivia.
Right now, knowing she could go, she was quite happy.
But along with that happiness came some hesitation, "I finally have time off and haven't spent much time with you guys, and now I'm making you go to that kind of place with me. Are you unhappy about it?"
Andrew reached out and pinched her cheek, saying, "What's there to be unhappy about? Being with you, doing anything is meaningful. Don't overthink it. I'm going to take a shower first."
"Okay." Olivia smiled again, her worries put to rest.
He went upstairs to wash up, and Bianca was taken by the nanny to bathe.
After breakfast, Benjamin and Anna came to Liliana Retreat and took Bianca with them.
Before leaving, Anna waved at them both, saying, "You two enjoy your couple time today. We'll take care of Bianca, and we promise not to disturb you!"
Olivia felt comfortable leaving her with them, "Thanks so much."
She didn't plan to bring the child to the conference.
After all, that kind of place had lots of people and all sorts of characters. Who knows what kind of people they might run into.
Better not to bring Bianca along.
She patted Bianca's head and told her, "Play with Anna and Benjamin, listen to them, and don't run off on your own, okay!"
"Mm-hmm, I know!" Bianca was very well-behaved.
She was already used to being taken out by Benjamin and the others.
Knowing Olivia had things to do, she didn't cling to her and obediently went with Benjamin and the others.
After they left, Olivia and Andrew also set off for the conference venue.
This place, rather than being called a conference, was more like a high-end market.
It was held in a vintage-style building.
Inside, quite a few people had set up stalls.
But what they sold were rare medicinal herbs, fragments of ancient medical texts, prescriptions, and so on...
There were people arranged by the organizers to maintain order.
Plus, those invited were all prominent figures in the medical world, descendants of hidden ancient medical families, and wealthy nobles seeking treatment, so the scene wasn't chaotic.
Instead, it was more like an auction house, that kind of trading venue.
This was Olivia's first time at such a conference, and she found it quite novel.
She and Andrew walked and looked around together.
At the same time, she asked him, "Have you been to this conference before?"
"Yeah." Andrew held her hand and nodded slightly, saying, "I have. A few years ago, Anna's heart condition flared up once, and we came here to find a doctor."
He led Olivia forward while telling her, "There are lots of good things here. Take a look around, you might find something you like."
"Sure!" Olivia was already interested.
Hearing him say this, she took his arm and started browsing.
Along the way, she did see quite a few good things.
Precious medicinal herbs, copies of ancient medical texts—all things she was interested in.
However, while these things were good, they weren't unique or particularly rare.
So after looking, Olivia didn't buy anything.
Andrew told her, "No rush. The good stuff is all in the back. Don't forget, those hidden families are here too, and the things they've collected are even rarer. They're kept further inside."
"Okay!" Olivia nodded. "Then let's go look inside quickly!"
She immediately quickened her pace, eager to see the good things Andrew mentioned.
"Alright."
Andrew watched her excited expression with indulgence, going along with whatever she wanted.
However, just as they were about to head inside, Andrew ran into an acquaintance.
"Mr. Hamilton, you're here too?"
"Mr. Wall." Andrew saw him and nodded slightly.
Olivia looked at the man.
He was a middle-aged man in his forties with an imposing presence, speaking to Andrew in a formal tone.
He seemed like someone from government circles.
Halfway through his chat with Andrew, Conrad's attention also fell on Olivia.
He asked, "Mr. Hamilton, this is...?"
Andrew introduced her openly, "The CEO of Nexora Tech, and also my girlfriend, Olivia."
Hearing she was Andrew's girlfriend, surprise flashed in Conrad's eyes.
But quickly, he smiled and said, "So this is Ms. Smith. I've heard about the system you developed before. It's really impressive.
You and Mr. Hamilton are truly a perfect match, made for each other."
Though Olivia didn't know his background, she smiled politely and said, "Thank you."
After the introduction, Andrew resumed talking with Conrad, asking him, "You're usually so busy with official duties. How do you have time to come here today?"
"Well..." Conrad opened his mouth, hesitating as if he had some concerns.
After several seconds, he said to Andrew, "Mr. Hamilton, could we step aside to talk for a moment?"
With so many people around, Andrew also sensed his difficulty and glanced at Olivia.
Before he could say anything, Olivia nodded at him, saying, "You two go ahead. I'll look around on my own first."
"Okay." Andrew said, "I'll come find you in a bit."
"Mm-hmm."
Then Andrew left with Conrad.
Olivia didn't wait there. She continued browsing on her own.
Just as Andrew had said, the further inside she went, the better the items became.
She saw many fragments of prescription records, seeds of rare medicinal herbs, and some ancient texts with notes on preparing medicines.
By the end, she'd bought quite a few things and had a good haul.
As she continued browsing, Olivia noticed a sparse stall.
There weren't many items at the stall, and very few customers around it.
Olivia's gaze fell on a medical text displayed outside.
She found it somewhat curious.
Compared to other ancient texts, this medical book was complete.
But Olivia had never seen the writing on it before.
And it was also very hard to make out.
As for the stall owner, he was a young man with long hair.
He looked somewhat delicate and handsome, but his posture was rather lazy. Unlike other stall owners, he wasn't calling out to drum up business.
Instead, he was leaning back in his chair, dozing.
On the counter was a sign that read: [Fixed prices, pay on your own, stealing is illegal.]
