Chapter 220 Never Seen Such a Shameless Person
Everyone waited outside the emergency room for Olivia, not noticing that someone in the distance was watching them.
Amelia stood in the corner, her brows deeply furrowed.
She was here for a heart checkup. Ever since Sophia embarrassed herself in public last time, she hadn't gone out socializing for days.
She was afraid that the moment she stepped out, she'd see those society ladies laughing at her together.
Today she had finally made plans with a friend to go out for a beauty spa.
Unexpectedly, her luck was so bad - she ran into acquaintances from their social circle again.
Several society ladies saw her and came over with smiles to congratulate her.
"Congratulations, Mrs. Johnson, the Johnson family actually produced a little genius painter!"
"Yes, we couldn't tell before that the children of this generation of the Johnson family were so talented."
"This must be the result of Mrs. Johnson's excellent guidance."
The flattery left Amelia confused.
She looked at them warily and asked, "What little genius painter? Who are you talking about?"
"Oh come on, we all know now, Mrs. Johnson, you don't need to be so modest."
The ladies all talked over each other, bringing up meeting Michael at the art exhibition a few days ago.
Amelia paused, immediately understanding that the person they were praising must be Aiden.
A lot had happened recently, but Michael's attitude toward Sophia hadn't changed at all.
Amelia knew this and had been unhappy about it.
She hadn't expected that Aiden could at least help her save some face.
Amelia immediately smiled tactfully, "Aiden is indeed a smart child. I've also heard that he won an award for his painting."
"Huh?"
The ladies were confused and interrupted: "We... don't seem to be talking about Aiden."
"Right, we're talking about your granddaughter, your biological granddaughter!"
"The one who's already divorced."
Hearing this, Amelia's expression immediately changed.
"What?" Amelia was so shocked her expression lost control.
The lady continued, "Bianca was accepted into the Art Guild as a special exception. I heard that many masters in the association are fighting to take her as a student. The Johnson family is really lucky."
Hearing this, Amelia's vision went dark. She couldn't accept this and felt it was completely impossible.
Absolutely impossible...
The ladies saw her expression was off and sensed something, so they didn't say more and soon left.
Amelia lost her mood for the spa and immediately had someone verify this matter.
After learning the truth, she was so shocked on the spot that her heart ached and she could barely breathe.
They had discarded a daughter-in-law, only for that daughter-in-law to be discovered as a hidden treasure - this had already made the Johnson family the subject of ridicule and mockery.
Now even the biological granddaughter they had thrown away like trash turned out to be a genius little painter. How could she accept this?
This feeling was like guarding two gold mountains, thinking they were broken rocks, trading them away, only to discover that what she got back were the broken rocks.
What a huge loss!
Amelia, who had spent her whole life calculating gains and losses, couldn't accept it for a moment and fainted on the ground, being rushed to the hospital.
She had just barely recovered when she ran into that genius little painter, her biological granddaughter.
Before she could even feel happy, she witnessed her granddaughter calling someone else daddy!
Amelia was furious on the spot.
This was clearly the Johnson family's child. Michael was still alive - how could Bianca recognize someone else as her father!
In her anger, Amelia rushed forward and sternly scolded, "Who are you? How dare you let my granddaughter call you daddy?"
Amelia's voice wasn't controlled, carrying burning rage, startling Bianca.
Bianca trembled in Andrew's arms and timidly turned back to look at the person speaking.
Andrew heard this voice and frowned. He soothingly patted Bianca's back, his eyes coldly looking toward Amelia.
Amelia saw her granddaughter still in that man's arms and became furious. She quickly raised her hand to beckon her, saying, "Bianca, come over here to me."
Andrew knew the other party's identity, his face showing obvious displeasure.
David also noticed and immediately came forward with bodyguards to block her, "Mrs. Johnson, this is a hospital. No loud noises."
Amelia was used to being noble, always flattered and respected wherever she went. Who dared to stop her?
Now blocked by David, she became furious, "Get out of the way, I'm taking my granddaughter back."
Bianca completely hid in Andrew's arms, her small hands clutching his clothes tightly.
Obviously, she was unwilling to go with Amelia and even seemed a bit afraid of her.
Andrew could see this.
His brows were tightly furrowed, and the atmosphere around him turned cold.
Bianca's current condition hadn't recovered yet. If the Johnsons stimulated her again, who knew what would happen.
Olivia hadn't come out yet. He didn't want the child's condition to worsen, so he directly ordered David, "Just throw her out."
"Okay." David immediately responded and told the bodyguards to act.
"What are you trying to do? Is there no justice left! That's my family's child, you're kidnapping her." Amelia struggled and angrily scolded them loudly.
David immediately ordered his men, "Gag her mouth, don't let her make noise here!"
The bodyguards did as told, stuffing her mouth and dragging her toward the hospital exit, showing no mercy.
People inside and outside the hospital were quite frightened by this scene, thinking something had happened.
Just then, the Johnsons arrived.
Michael and Hayden came together.
They had heard that Amelia was sent to the hospital and came specifically to check on the situation.
Unexpectedly, as soon as they arrived, they saw someone attacking Amelia.
"Stop it!" Michael shouted and immediately came forward with bodyguards to rescue her.
Andrew's men, seeing Michael appear, instinctively looked at David.
David raised his hand to them, signaling them to let go.
Amelia ran to Michael's side in a disheveled state.
"Mom, how are you?" Michael looked at his mother with concern.
Once rescued, Amelia felt her support had arrived and immediately complained to her son, "It's all because of that shameless Olivia. It's only been so long since the divorce, and she's already teaching Bianca to call another man daddy!
That's the Johnson family's child. What right does he have to not let me take the child, and even have people throw me out?"
Amelia was furious.
Michael's eyes turned cold as he looked at the man in the distance and Bianca in his arms, anger rising.
Amelia egged him on from the side: "Michael, that's our family's child. Go get Bianca back!"
Evelyn had been holding back since she saw her shouting earlier.
Now hearing her throw a tantrum, she really couldn't hold back anymore and angrily cursed, "Does the Johnson family have no shame?!
How you treated Olivia and Bianca back when you were busy welcoming Sophia through the door - you haven't forgotten, have you?"
She directly pointed at Amelia, "Mrs. Johnson, didn't you even doubt Bianca's bloodline?
Since you didn't consider her your family back then, why are you so eager to claim her now?
Oh, I know - did you hear that our Olivia has achieved great success, so you regret it?
Or did you hear that our Bianca is a genius little painter, so you feel like you lost a fortune and came running to claim her again?
When Bianca was sick, you were disgusted in every way. Now that she's better and you think the child can bring you honor, you're fighting to take her.
Is there anyone more shameless in this world than your family?
Do you even deserve to claim Bianca?
How unlucky Olivia and Bianca are to have ended up with your family!
I'm telling you, if you dare to use force today, I'll beat you until you're crawling on the ground."
Evelyn was aggressive. Passersby around them heard the commotion and couldn't help but stop to watch.
There was even a cleaner nearby holding a mop!
Evelyn grabbed her mop and pointed it at the Johnsons, looking ready to fight them.
"You, you..." Amelia was scared by this display, her words caught in her throat, her face iron-blue and ugly.
Michael's expression was also very bad.
He hadn't expected that one day he would lose face at a hospital, and in front of that man!
Always proud, he felt like there was a breath stuck in his chest that he couldn't raise or swallow.
In comparison, among the three, Hayden was still the calmest.
But his face was also very cold. He looked at Evelyn and said, "Ms. Thomas, right? Whatever happens between us and Bianca is our family matter. Outsiders have no right to interfere.
Or are you deliberately trying to oppose the Johnson Group? Do you know what the consequences will be? Can you bear the Johnson Group's wrath?"
These words were a naked threat.
Threatening Evelyn that if she dared to meddle again, the Johnson Group would target her.
But Evelyn wasn't raised to be scared.
She sneered, "Is the Johnson Group so great? How do you plan to deal with me?"
Her family's business was basically all overseas. She wasn't afraid of the Johnson Group at all.
No matter how powerful the Johnson Group was domestically, she wouldn't take them seriously.
"Do you have any manners at all? This is none of your business!" Amelia gritted her teeth and could only curse out this sentence in the end.
"You have the nerve to talk about manners?" Evelyn fearlessly challenged, "When people see injustice, they help out. You're bullying my friend and her daughter, so I'm getting involved!"
"You!" Amelia was so angry she clutched her chest, having difficulty breathing.
Just as the atmosphere was tense, Bianca clutched Andrew's clothes and asked him timidly, "Daddy, who are they? Why do they want to take me away?
I'm not going. I want to wait here for Mommy. I don't want to go with bad people!"
By the end, her panicked little voice was already mixed with tears.
Andrew was slightly stunned. When he looked down at Bianca, his eyes held more gravity.
He just discovered something.
When examining her before, he had misjudged Bianca's condition.
Her current situation wasn't emotional transfer - it was more like forgetting.
Bianca didn't recognize the Johnsons anymore.
Why?
Could it be the effect of the hypnotherapy treatment she received last year?
