Chapter 146 Mr. Hamilton, Take You to See Fireworks
Daniel could hear the anger in Olivia's voice.
Although the Wilson Group's lawyers were also keeping an eye on this matter, when the Johnson Group's legal team wanted to exploit loopholes, it was still impossible to guard against everything.
Not to mention the Brown family was also maneuvering behind the scenes!
He already felt somewhat guilty, so when Olivia made this request, he naturally had no objections.
"Alright, I'll handle this matter properly. I absolutely won't mess up again."
As he said this, a cold glint flashed through his roguish eyes.
That Paul loved taking the fall for others so much—if they didn't let him sit in prison for life, it would be too unreasonable!
And the Brown family...
The Johnson family was hard to touch, but surely they could deal with a mere Brown family, couldn't they?
After hanging up, Daniel quickly went to handle the matter.
Olivia put away her phone, her expression unable to calm down for a long time. She even lost her appetite for eating.
What made it even more disgusting was that Michael called from a new number at this moment.
The man spoke matter-of-factly on the other end, "Olivia, it's Christmas Eve today. I want to bring Bianca back to the Johnson Mansion for the celebration. Bring her down later, I'll come pick her up."
Olivia laughed mockingly, "Is that necessary? Since you've already brought Sophia out, just take her and her son back to the Johnson Mansion for the holidays!"
"Michael, you just stole my company's research results, and now you want to take my daughter back to play the loving father?"
"You're dreaming!"
Hearing this, Michael seemed to pause for a moment, then said, "The person behind this wasn't Sophia, it was Paul."
"You really think people are idiots?"
After a cold laugh, Olivia took a deep breath, "Michael, you don't think this is the end of it, do you? Heh... Enjoy this Christmas Eve while you can!"
With that, she hung up and blocked him in one smooth motion.
That evening, Olivia's parents prepared a very lavish dinner.
Although Olivia's mood had been significantly affected, to avoid worrying her parents, she forcibly suppressed her emotions and accompanied them through dinner.
Afterward, Bianca wanted to take her sparklers downstairs to the neighborhood.
Olivia originally wanted to go with her.
But since she had just recovered from a cold, her parents worried she might relapse, so they firmly stopped her from going down.
Olivia compromised and reminded them, "Then remember to take some videos of Bianca."
Her parents readily agreed.
Not long after the three of them and the dog went downstairs, several videos came through.
Olivia opened them one by one. Bianca was wearing a coat, a fluffy hat, and white snow boots, standing in the snow in the neighborhood, waving sparklers. The smile on her little face was bright and adorable.
Beside her was little Lightning, circling around her and barking.
Bianca was having a wonderful time, her milky laughter so sweet it could melt anyone's heart.
Olivia watched several videos, and her previously gloomy mood seemed to improve considerably.
On such a joyful and reunited day, she shouldn't let a few despicable people affect her mood. She should spend more time with her parents and Bianca.
With this thought, Olivia simply got up, put on a thick down jacket, and went downstairs too.
Just as she stepped out of the elevator, Andrew happened to send a message: "Happy New Year."
Olivia's heart stirred, and she replied, "Happy New Year. Mr. Hamilton, want to watch fireworks?"
Andrew was puzzled, "You can set off fireworks in Emerald City?"
Olivia said, "Yes."
After saying that, she directly made a video call.
Andrew on the other end paused for a moment before answering, his voice deeply magnetic, "Ms. Garcia."
Olivia looked at him when she heard his voice.
The man was standing in a spacious courtyard, behind him a brightly lit traditional courtyard house. The gorgeous and brilliant light reflected from it, yet couldn't match his own excellence.
That handsome face appeared even more refined and restrained in the winter night.
Olivia's mood suddenly became much calmer, and a faint smile appeared on her face.
She said, "Mr. Hamilton, let me show you the fireworks."
Andrew raised his eyebrows slightly, seeming to chuckle softly, and said, "Alright."
As she spoke, she had already left the building and found Bianca and her parents.
At this moment, Bianca had just lit two new sparklers in her hands. Several other children had also come over to join the fun, and even little Lightning had one in his mouth.
Olivia immediately flipped the camera.
Then Andrew saw in the frame a soft, adorable little dumpling laughing especially happily, her little face flushed from playing.
Olivia said, "Actually, I tricked you. There are no fireworks. The neighborhood doesn't allow them. There are only these little sparklers."
Andrew's voice was gentle, "That's okay, these are nice too."
Olivia asked him, "Want to say hi to Bianca? She was asking about you before."
"Sure."
Andrew readily agreed.
Olivia immediately walked over and called to Bianca, "Bianca, look who this is?"
Bianca looked over when she heard the call. When she saw who was in the video, her eyes suddenly lit up, and she called out joyfully, "Uncle Andrew, hello~"
Hearing the familiar sweet voice, Andrew's gaze softened, "Hello, Bianca."
Bianca nodded her little head and came closer to ask, "When will you come see me?"
Andrew answered, "In a few days."
Bianca was very happy, "I've prepared a gift for you..."
After Bianca recovered, she started talking more. Plus, she was really happy tonight, so her little mouth became quite chatty.
Olivia didn't stop her.
She liked seeing this change in her daughter.
Victoria and Vaughn were also very pleased.
As for Andrew, he was extremely patient.
After the big one and the little one chatted for a while, playmates in the distance came to find Bianca.
Bianca's attention was immediately drawn away by the sparklers again...
Taking this opportunity, Andrew also greeted the elderly couple.
Victoria and Vaughn had an excellent impression of him and warmly invited him in the video, "When Mr. Hamilton returns to Emerald City, you can come to our home for a meal. Our Olivia and Bianca have been under your care all this time!"
Andrew politely said, "Alright, if I have time, I'll definitely come."
The elderly couple were naturally all smiles.
After they chatted for a few more sentences, the parents went to watch Bianca first.
Only then did Andrew find another chance to talk to Olivia alone, "Does Ms. Garcia want to watch fireworks?"
"That sounds familiar?"
Olivia smiled and said, "Are you going to light sparklers for me too?"
Andrew smiled, "I don't have sparklers here, but I have real fireworks."
As he finished speaking, the camera on his end also flipped to face the night sky.
Then Olivia heard a 'whoosh' sound, and immediately after, an extremely brilliant firework exploded in the night sky.
Olivia was stunned!
These fireworks were really... exceptionally beautiful, and the shapes were all different.
Shooting stars, galaxies, jellyfish, flower shapes... one after another, colorful and dazzlingly beautiful!
The entire night sky seemed to be lit up!
Olivia stood there stunned, watching for a long time.
After who knows how long, she suddenly heard Andrew speak from the other end: "Feeling better now?"
