Chapter 111 Try Dating with Mr. Hamilton
Michael really had no intention of letting Olivia off the hook.
After confirming that Chase was okay, he immediately left the ward and called Olivia.
Olivia had just gotten home and was about to take a shower. When she saw who was calling, she didn't want to answer.
She put her phone on silent. When she finished showering and came out, she found over a dozen missed calls.
There was also a message.
Michael: [Give me the information for Bianca's therapist! I'm Bianca's father, and I have the right to know who's treating her.]
Olivia stared at it for a few seconds and pretty much guessed what Michael was up to.
He must have found out about Chase getting beaten, which was why he was calling.
Caring about Bianca was just an excuse—going after Andrew was his real goal.
Olivia's eyes turned cold. She blocked Michael directly and ignored him.
On Michael's end, after waiting forever with no response, he tried calling again, only to find the call wouldn't go through.
He was furious!
Robert had used quite a few connections to dig deep into Andrew's background.
Unfortunately, he still couldn't find any detailed information about Andrew, only that his last name was Hamilton.
He reported this to Michael honestly.
"Hamilton?" Michael frowned, searching his mind for prominent families in Harmony City with that surname.
But among the top families in Harmony City, there was no the Hamilton family!
What was going on?
That man owned a private beach in Emerald City, and the bodyguards he had with him looked far from ordinary. There was no way he had no background!
Yet somehow, the Johnson Group couldn't find anything!
Who was he really?
Michael was extremely annoyed.
He had always looked down on Olivia.
But now, things related to her were gradually slipping out of his control.
This made him very unhappy!
After blocking him, Olivia simply ignored Michael.
Over the next few days, she returned to her busy routine.
On Thursday, the research institute was unusually quiet, so she accepted Evelyn's invitation to go shopping and buy some new clothes for her parents, and Bianca.
In the afternoon, tired from shopping, Evelyn and Olivia found a café to rest and ordered some small cakes.
Evelyn sighed, "It's really not easy to get you, such a busy person, out! Ever since you started working with Daniel, both the research institute and Nexora Tech need you. I almost thought you were turning into a work machine."
Olivia laughed, "Not that bad. Nexora Tech needed me before because it was just starting up. Now it's basically stable, and Daniel can handle operations. As for the system side, the team is very reliable unless there's a problem that's hard to solve.
As for the research institute, the new drug development is going very smoothly, and the team members are equally great. In less than two months, the new special medicine should be on the market!
In the future, I'll gradually reduce some of the trivial matters and won't need to handle everything personally anymore!"
Evelyn nodded in agreement, "You really should relax more. You never stopped working when you were with the Johnson family, and now starting your own business, you're even busier. When have you ever been as relaxed as you are now?
You know, your health is the most important thing! Once you've made the money, you should enjoy it. Be good to yourself!"
"Yes, you're absolutely right." Olivia smiled in agreement.
She knew Evelyn cared about her, so she naturally accepted her suggestions.
Evelyn continued, "When I say enjoy, I don't just mean materially, but emotionally too. After you get rid of Michael, you can consider dating again.
This time, find a reliable man, like... someone like Mr. Hamilton."
Olivia was drinking her coffee and immediately choked when she heard this.
She coughed for quite a while before recovering.
She looked at Evelyn helplessly, "What are you talking about?"
Evelyn said enthusiastically, "I'm not talking nonsense, I'm telling the truth! Look, Mr. Hamilton is so handsome, with a perfect figure. Plus, he's successful in his career, a respected big shot in the military, and his background looks extraordinary.
Most importantly, he's gentle, considerate, so good to Bianca, and really respects women!
Such a perfect man—any woman would be attracted to him, right?
Not to mention, you two are both so good-looking!"
At this point, she leaned in and whispered, "Honestly, I think... you two would be perfect together! Last time I saw Mr. Hamilton at the Military Base Housing entrance, when you two stood together, I thought you looked great as a couple!
Maybe you two could try dating..."
Seeing her getting more and more carried away, Olivia quickly covered her mouth, "Stop talking nonsense! It would be bad if someone heard you!"
Setting aside the fact that she wasn't divorced yet, how could someone like Andrew, who was so refined and upstanding, be matched with just anyone?
Evelyn blinked.
Although she couldn't speak, it didn't stop her from believing Andrew and Olivia would end up together.
Andrew and Olivia were a perfect match!
In the evening, after Olivia and Evelyn finished shopping, they stopped by the school to pick up Bianca.
As soon as Benjamin saw Olivia, he said seriously, "Dr. Garcia, do you have a moment? There's something I'd like to discuss with you."
Olivia rarely saw him look like this and immediately asked with concern, "What is it? Did something happen with Bianca?"
"No, no, Bianca is fine."
Benjamin explained with a smile, "It's like this—remember the painting Bianca entered in the competition last weekend? The results came out today, and Bianca's work won first prize! It also received high praise from the painting master Ivan Franklin.
Currently, quite a few media outlets have caught wind of this and contacted the school, wanting to interview Bianca.
However, I've held them off for now and haven't agreed yet. I wanted to ask your opinion first."
Olivia hadn't expected to hear such good news and was stunned for a moment.
After a while, she said with delight, "It actually... won first prize?"
Benjamin smiled, "Yes, this competition is quite prestigious, and the judges are all professionals!
But given Bianca's special situation, I didn't dare agree rashly."
Olivia nodded, thinking Benjamin had been very thoughtful.
Although Bianca's condition had improved tremendously and her fear of interacting with people had gotten much better.
That didn't mean she could easily face the media.
Once she was in the news, she'd have to face even more situations in the future. She couldn't let Bianca take that risk.
Olivia barely hesitated before saying, "Mr. White, please decline for me. Bianca isn't suitable for interviews right now, and I don't want her to face the public.
She's worked so hard to recover to where she is today. I can't let anything happen to her again."
Benjamin wasn't surprised by her choice at all. "Alright, in that case, I'll let the media know! The school will also accept the trophy from the competition on her behalf...
However, this is Bianca's first time receiving such an honor, and it would be a shame to just let it pass like this. So the school will hold a simple awards ceremony for her. What do you think?"
Olivia hesitated a bit, "Wouldn't that be too much trouble for the school?"
Benjamin smiled, "Not at all. Other children participated in the competition too. Although they didn't win awards in the main competition, we can give them awards within the school. That way, the event becomes more lively, doesn't it?"
Olivia felt warmth in her heart, "If that's the case, then of course it's fine."
Benjamin clapped his hands, "Great, then it's settled. Tonight I'll have the teachers help set things up, and we'll hold the awards ceremony tomorrow!"
After saying this, he said a quick goodbye and soon turned to go back.
As he entered, Benjamin remembered to take out his phone and send Andrew a message: [Andrew, Bianca won an award.]
