Chapter 101: The Man came to Her side

Chapter 101 The Man Came to Her Side

But Michael understood.

Olivia probably didn't care about his leg anymore.

Last time, she just left the pharmacy without even buying the medicine. Now, she was surrounded by guys!

Michael couldn't help but feel annoyed.

When did Olivia start acting so rebellious?

He hated this feeling of losing control.

Sophia felt uneasy too.

She didn't expect Olivia's medical skills to leave such a lasting impression on Michael.

'Is it just because she knows a bit about medicine? Does it really have to be her? His leg isn't as bad as it used to be. Anybody could handle it, right?' Sophia thought to herself.

She absolutely couldn't let Michael and Olivia have any more contact!

Thinking of this, Sophia immediately tried to soothe him, "Michael, Olivia's probably just having too much fun to remember your leg. I'll find you a reliable doctor, okay?

I heard there's this really skilled doctor, the founder of some 'Medica Vitae Sect.' He's highly respected, and lots of influential people want to connect with him.

A legendary figure like that has to be better at medicine than Olivia, right?"

Michael had heard of the 'Medica Vitae Sect' before, but he hadn't paid much attention since Olivia was around.

Now, with Olivia acting like she's done with him, she probably wants to use this to control him, waiting for him to beg her.

He wasn't going to let her get her way!

So, he nodded and said, "You're very thoughtful, Sophia."

Sophia smiled warmly, "I should be!"

Meanwhile, Olivia was too busy to worry about them.

With the company's project on the schedule, she was swamped.

Vaughn and Victoria had to work, so they didn't stay long and soon left.

Before leaving, Vaughn and Victoria were still worried about Olivia, repeatedly reminding her, "Next time you see Michael, stay away from him. Don't let him hurt you again!"

Olivia promised, "Don't worry, from now on, I'll carry some self-defense items. If he tries anything, I won't hold back."

Vaughn felt a bit more at ease and continued, "Don't overwork yourself. We know you want to prove yourself, but your health is more important.

And one more thing, remember to contact your teacher and let him know you're back in medical research.

He was really upset when you gave up your specialty. Now that you're back, you should apologize!"

Victoria agreed, "Your teacher cares about you. If he knows you're back in medical research, he'll be happy. He once wanted you to inherit the entire 'Medica Vitae Sect.'"

Olivia was momentarily dazed, thinking of her teacher.

Back then, she disappointed a lot of people for Michael.

Her teacher was so angry that he cut off contact with her.

She really should apologize!

"I will, but not now. I'll go after my new drug hits the market. He shouldn't be as angry then! If I go empty-handed now, he might throw me out!"

Vaughn and Victoria found this reasonable and didn't say more before leaving.

After seeing Vaughn and Victoria off, Olivia found time to treat Layla.

After the last lesson, Layla became more obedient and stopped sneaking around to see her boyfriend against medical advice.

With the patient's cooperation, the doctor's treatment efficiency naturally improved significantly.

In the afternoon, after a routine check-up, Olivia said, "You're recovering well. In about a week, you should be fully healed."

Layla's eyes lit up, eagerly asking, "Does that mean I can see whoever I want?"

Olivia patted her head, "That's right, but you're still young. Don't get too caught up in that stuff."

Layla playfully clung to her arm, "I know, I was just talking about holding hands, nothing more…"

Then, she praised generously, "Ella, you're amazing. No wonder Andrew recommended you. Your skills are incredible. To thank you, how about having dinner here tonight? Let's have a barbecue together."

Olivia was about to decline.

But Stella also warmly invited her, and Layla pleaded, "Ella, please! I've been stuck at home, and now that I'm almost better, let's celebrate.

You're my savior, you can't miss it!"

Perhaps because of Bianca, Olivia had a soft spot for cute girls.

Not to mention, Layla felt like a little sister to her.

So, she quickly agreed, "Okay!"

Layla cheered and ran to the kitchen to instruct the servants and chefs to prepare for the barbecue.

That evening, as night fell, the garden lights lit up.

To entertain Olivia, the White Villa stocked up on top-quality ingredients, with seafood and meats flown in, and fine wines.

Several chefs showcased their skills at the grill.

Servants bustled around, bringing fruits and preparing desserts.

Before dinner, the White Villa's doorbell rang.

Stella was puzzled, "Who's here?"

Layla laughed, "I'll get it… I invited the guest."

She ran excitedly to the door.

Stella, seeing her so happy, smiled helplessly and led Olivia outside.

As soon as Olivia sat down, Layla brought the guest in.

It was Andrew!

Andrew was dressed in black tonight, his cold aura almost blending with the winter night, creating a strong sense of distance.

However, as he walked closer, that feeling gradually faded.

Andrew's shirt was not meticulously buttoned but had two buttons undone, giving him a more relaxed look. His long coat was casually draped over his arm, and the deep eyes behind his glasses, initially covered in frost, suddenly softened upon seeing Olivia.

"Dr. Garcia." Andrew greeted her first, then also greeted Stella and her husband.

Stella smiled, "I was wondering who Layla invited, turns out it's you! Please, have a seat…"

Layla laughed, "Ella is my savior, and so is Andrew. How could he not be here for dinner?"

As she spoke, she pulled out the chair next to Olivia, "Andrew, sit next to Ella, okay?"

"Sure." Andrew didn't mind and sat down calmly.

Olivia could clearly feel a faint breeze and a pleasant cedar scent from beside her.

She quickly greeted, "Mr. Hamilton, good evening!"
