Chapter 96 She Said It Hurts, Didn't You Hear?
"Hey, check this out. See if this property belongs to Daniel," Michael ordered Robert, his face dark and brooding as he adjusted his tie.
Robert, still shaken but not daring to slack off, responded quickly, "Yes, Mr. Johnson ." He immediately pulled out his phone and started making calls.
The results came back quickly.
"This property doesn't belong to Daniel. The owner's identity and information are all confidential," Robert reported, clearly surprised.
The Johnson family held a prominent position in Emerald City with extensive connections, making it usually easy for them to uncover information.
But now, there was something they couldn't dig up. How strange!
Michael frowned deeply. Besides Daniel, who else could Olivia be connected with?
Olivia had no idea what was happening outside, but David was getting real-time updates from the bodyguards.
Like Andrew, he didn't consider Michael a threat and didn't bother informing Olivia about the situation.
At this moment, Andrew was nearing the end of his counseling session with Bianca.
Bianca had been in high spirits all afternoon, showing more interest in exploring the world around her.
Olivia watched Bianca's transformation with joy and amazement, thinking, 'Mr. Hamilton is truly incredible!" Every time Bianca interacts with him, her condition improves significantly. His skills are truly exceptional!'
Olivia couldn't help but record a video to send to Vaughn and Victoria at home.
They were equally thrilled when they saw it. "Mr. Hamilton is a real blessing to our family, Olivia. Make sure you thank him properly and don't neglect him! Bianca's full recovery depends on him!" Vaughn urged.
Vaughn also asked, "Have you all eaten yet?"
Olivia replied, "Not yet."
Vaughn and Victoria quickly sent an address. "If you haven't eaten, go here. We've already made a reservation and paid for it. I heard from Evelyn that Mr. Hamilton is quite distinguished, so we chose this high-end place. It's just a ten-minute drive from where you are now."
Olivia was a bit taken aback by their speed. Vaughn and Victoria sure acted quickly!
As Andrew finished the session, he glanced at his watch. "Dr. Garcia, today's session is over," he announced.
Olivia quickly stood up and responded, "Thank you so much for spending the afternoon helping Bianca! Um..." She hesitated for a moment before asking, "Mr. Hamilton, do you have time for dinner tonight? I'd like to treat you as a thank you."
Andrew raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement in his deep eyes. It seemed he was reminded of something.
Before they met, her favorite thing was to invite people to dinner.
Apparently, some things never changed. Besides, it was dinner time, and he was indeed hungry.
Andrew stood up gracefully and said, "Sure."
Olivia breathed a sigh of relief and quickly gathered her things.
As for Michael, he was already out of her mind. Michael had always been impatient with her. After being ignored, his pride wouldn't allow him to focus on her any longer.
A while later, Olivia and Bianca got into Andrew's car and left the estate.
As they passed the gate, Olivia noticed a tow truck but didn't realize it was for Michael's car.
Robert, however, spotted an expensive Maybach and quickly alerted Michael, "Mr. Johnson, that should be the owner's car. The windows are tinted, so we can't see if Ms. Smith and Ms. Johnson are inside."
Michael ended his call, his expression icy. "Follow them."
Robert nodded and quickly got into another car, following the Maybach.
Both cars left Golden Sands Bay and arrived at a six-star hotel. It was then that Olivia realized Vaughn and Victoria had booked a restaurant inside the hotel.
They must have spent a fortune! But for Bianca, they were willing to do anything. And Andrew certainly deserved such high treatment.
Soon, Olivia, Bianca, and Andrew got out of the car and entered the hotel.
Seeing this, Michael's presence became even more oppressive, the air in the small car almost freezing.
He had thought Olivia was meeting another man secretly by the sea, which was already outrageous.
But now, she dared to come to a hotel?
'Olivia, you disgust me!' Michael thought.
No wonder she was so eager to get a divorce. She must have been cheating all along, causing chaos for the Johnson family!
Robert, in the front seat, was trembling but still asked, "Should we follow them, Mr. Johnson? They've entered the lobby."
Michael, his face dark, didn't answer, but his body moved first. He pushed open the car door and strode inside, his pace so fast it seemed to create a chilling wind around him.
Olivia was completely unaware of what was happening behind her until she heard hurried footsteps and felt someone grab her wrist tightly.
The grip was so strong it felt like her bones were being crushed, and she was yanked so hard she nearly lost her balance.
Olivia cried out in shock, barely managing to steady herself before looking up to see Michael's furious face.
"Olivia, you've got some nerve bringing Bianca and another man to a hotel! Do you have any shame? Do you even remember you're a married woman?" Michael growled, his eyes blazing with anger as if he wanted to devour her whole.
Olivia was stunned. Why was Michael here? And why was he accusing her? A hotel room? She almost laughed. He was so dirty-minded that he saw filth everywhere.
Regaining her composure, Olivia coldly said, "Michael, let go of me!"
But Michael didn't budge. His eyes burned with rage. "Let go? You can't go a day without a man, can you?"
Olivia's face darkened. She didn't understand where Michael got the audacity to question her like this.
He was the one always entangled with Sophia, yet he came here to accuse her. It was disgusting.
Her expression turned icy. "Michael, do you think everyone is as shameless as you? Let go of me, you're hurting me!"
She began to struggle, but Michael tightened his grip, his anger rising. "Still denying it?"
He shot a cold glance at Andrew. Andrew stood tall and dignified, his presence as commanding as Michael's. He even looked somewhat familiar.
Michael narrowed his eyes. If he remembered correctly, Olivia had gotten into this man's car outside the kindergarten before. "You've been involved with him all along, haven't you? And you still pretend to be a good wife?"
Hearing this, Olivia's eyes welled up with tears, partly from pain and partly from anger. She struggled more fiercely. Michael was truly disgusting!
Seeing her struggle, Michael tightened his grip, determined to break her hand if necessary. That way, she wouldn't dare to betray him again.
As the tension between them escalated, Andrew, who had been silent, finally spoke. His voice was cold and commanding, carrying an undeniable authority. "She said you're hurting her. Didn't you hear?"
With that, Andrew's hand moved with an unyielding force, prying Michael's grip off Olivia's wrist.
