Chapter 93 Charming Style
Olivia perked up.
Was Andrew going to help treat Bianca again?
There was no way she could refuse, so she immediately replied, "I'll be there on time."
Vaughn and Victoria, noticing her change in expression, quickly asked, "Who is it? Why are you so happy?"
Olivia answered honestly, "Mr. Hamilton. He scheduled a treatment for Bianca tomorrow."
Vaughn and Victoria, having just heard about Andrew's accomplishments, were also delighted.
With someone so dedicated, Bianca was sure to recover even faster!
Olivia shared their optimism, so the next afternoon, she took Bianca and Lightning out.
Andrew had chosen a spot by the sea called Golden Sands Bay.
This place was quite famous in Emerald City, a popular tourist destination usually bustling with people.
However, when Olivia arrived, she sensed something was off.
The surroundings were too quiet, the beach deserted, and the plants along the road were different from those outside.
Every plant was an expensive species she could name.
Not far away, a luxurious estate stood tall.
Hadn't they passed a gated entrance on the way in?
What was going on?
Had they come to the wrong place?
Olivia took out her phone to check the location.
David's directions were correct.
So where was Andrew?
As she looked around in confusion, she heard a sound in the distance.
Was that a helicopter?
She instinctively looked up and saw a helicopter rapidly approaching.
It soon hovered over the estate and slowly landed on the helipad.
Olivia's heart skipped a beat, and she couldn't help but wonder, 'Is Mr. Hamilton coming down from there?'
As if to confirm her thoughts, the helicopter door quickly opened.
A familiar tall figure stepped down the stairs.
Andrew, like a breeze from a mountaintop, had a piercing gaze and a proud demeanor. His silver-gray suit exuded an air of wealth and detachment, with gold-rimmed glasses glinting coldly on his nose.
The afternoon sun, warm as it was, couldn't dispel the natural authority he carried.
Behind him followed David and a few tall bodyguards dressed in black.
It really was Andrew!
"Uncle Andrew!" Bianca saw Andrew and immediately called out in her sweet, childlike voice.
Lightning barked excitedly, as if greeting him.
Andrew heard the voices and looked over.
When his gaze fell on them, his cold expression suddenly softened.
He quickly strode over and asked, "Have you been waiting long?"
Olivia shook her head. "No, we just arrived and were about to look for you. We almost thought we were in the wrong place since it was so quiet around here."
Andrew nodded slightly and explained, "You're not in the wrong place. This is a private beach, so outsiders can't come in.
I wanted you to bring Bianca here so she could connect with the ocean. The sea is all-encompassing and can be very healing for the soul."
Olivia suddenly understood.
That explained why the place felt different.
But to own a private beach and such a vast estate, the wealth required was astonishing!
While she marveled at this, Andrew turned his attention to Bianca.
He asked her gently, "Do you like playing in the water? The weather is nice today, and it's warm. Would you like to splash around and play in the sand?"
Bianca's eyes lit up, and she nodded eagerly. "Yes!"
It was her first time here, and everything was new and exciting.
Andrew ruffled her hair and said, "Okay, let your mommy take you to change into your swimsuit."
Olivia hadn't anticipated going into the water, so she hadn't brought swimsuits.
Just as she was about to speak, a servant approached and respectfully said, "Ms. Garcia, please follow me. I'll take you both to change. Everything is ready."
Olivia quickly realized that Andrew must have planned ahead.
She nodded and hurriedly took Bianca to change.
When they came back out, there were umbrellas set up on the beach, along with lounge chairs and tables.
They were laden with juices and snacks!
Andrew had taken off his suit jacket, now wearing just a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, revealing his well-defined arms. The prayer beads on his wrist contrasted with his pale skin, adding an air of cool detachment.
His pant legs were also rolled up a bit.
It was the first time Olivia had seen him like this.
Andrew seemed less formal and more approachable.
"Uncle Andrew, we're ready," Bianca walked over and said.
Andrew looked up.
The servant had prepared matching swimsuits for mother and daughter, relatively conservative in style, but their good looks made them stand out.
Bianca looked adorable in her black swimsuit, even cuter than usual.
As for Olivia, the tight fabric accentuated her curves, her legs long and slender.
Even though it was a simple and modest outfit, it exuded a hint of sensuality.
Olivia felt a bit self-conscious and embarrassed.
It had been years since she wore a swimsuit.
The last time was back in school.
But Andrew only glanced at her briefly before turning back to Bianca, naturally saying, "I have some tools for you. Do you want to build sandcastles, draw in the sand, or dig for shells?"
Bianca blinked.
She hadn't done any of those before and wanted to try them all.
"Can I... do all of them?" she asked eagerly.
Andrew smiled, "Of course. We'll do them one by one."
He held out his hand to Bianca.
Bianca happily grabbed it and followed him to the beach.
Lightning, seeing this, trotted along behind them.
Olivia hurried to catch up.
For the rest of the time, Andrew guided Bianca in interacting with the sea.
He first taught her to draw in the sand, then showed her videos on building sandcastles.
Bianca was thrilled, her little hands covered in sand, even getting some on her face.
Afterward, he gave her a shovel and bucket to dig for shells.
Olivia and Andrew didn't join in but watched from the side.
The waves lapped at their ankles, and the soft sand felt comforting.
Olivia felt a sense of relaxation.
It had been a long time since she felt this at ease.
The Johnson family's prison had trapped her for so long, making her forget to look at the world outside.
Now, the sunlight, white clouds, and waves opened her eyes.
She suddenly felt like she was coming back to life.
Feeling good, she started to let loose a bit.
She played with Lightning at her feet, splashing in the water.
Lightning, getting wet, shook off the water furiously.
Olivia laughed...
Andrew noticed her change, slightly surprised.
It was the first time he saw this carefree side of Olivia.
In their previous meetings, she had always been restrained and composed.
Whenever she spoke, because she needed his help, she always put herself in a low position.
Now, with her guard down, she seemed bright and radiant, like a carefree college student, not at all like a mother.
Andrew watched her for a while, his gaze deepening.
He had a feeling that this might be the real Olivia!
