Chapter 77 Striking in Anger, Not Letting Anyone Go

Chapter 77 Striking in Anger, Not Letting Anyone Go

Olivia was caught off guard.

Talking about the divorce, and it had to be her?

Then again, it made sense. Amelia had never liked her and probably couldn't wait to kick her out.

Since talking to Michael about the divorce got nowhere, maybe she could find a breakthrough with Amelia.

If things went smoothly, it could save a lot of trouble!

Olivia immediately said, "Where do you want to talk?"

Amelia led her to a sitting room in a side hall.

Once inside, Amelia took out a prepared divorce agreement, placing it in front of Olivia. Her tone was mocking and sharp, "I heard you talked to Michael about a divorce before, wanting to leave with nothing but Bianca's custody? I'm telling you, we don't agree to your terms.

Olivia, what right do you have? You've enjoyed everything the Johnson family has to offer for years, and you think it came without a cost?"

Olivia's face was serious as she caught the underlying meaning. "So? What are you getting at?"

Amelia looked down at her, "Leaving with nothing is impossible. You need to compensate the Johnson family!"

Olivia found it laughable.

She knew the Johnsons were shameless.

But they still managed to surprise her every time.

Olivia laughed in anger, "Mrs. Johnson, do you even hear yourself? I've been in this family for years, working hard, raising kids, managing work, and expanding the business. Apart from some clothes and jewelry Grandma gave me, what luxury have you and Michael ever provided?

And those clothes and jewelry? I didn't take a single piece; they're all still in the Johnson Villa!

Besides, Michael cheated with Sophia. He's the one at fault. It's a miracle I didn't ask him for emotional damages, and now you want me to compensate you?

Isn't that ridiculous?"

Amelia was unfazed by her accusations. "You ate and slept in the Johnson Villa; that's undeniable! So, if you want a divorce, pay the Johnson family $500 million and sign the papers. Then you can leave."

Olivia felt like she heard the biggest joke ever.

How could she even say that with a straight face?

She finally understood Amelia's goal.

Not only did she want Olivia out, but also to push her into a corner.

How could people be so disgusting?

Olivia, seething with rage, tore the divorce agreement into pieces and threw them at Amelia. "Amelia, if you think you can take my money, think again!"

Amelia was taken aback, not expecting Olivia to react this way.

Her face turned dark, eyes cold, "Olivia, don't be ungrateful! You've embarrassed the Johnson family several times and still want to walk away unscathed? Do you think that's possible?

If you don't sign today, just wait and see. The Johnson family has plenty of ways to crush you."

"Then go ahead and try!" Olivia, face cold, spat out the words and walked away without looking back.

As she left the sitting room, the first thing she did was look for Bianca in the garden.

She had asked Cleo, one of the trusted housekeepers, to watch Bianca while she talked about the divorce.

Cleo had been with Emily and was trustworthy.

However, when she came out, Bianca was nowhere to be seen!

Olivia panicked, calling out, "Bianca?"

But after searching everywhere, there was no sign of Bianca.

Just then, Michael came out of the main hall. Olivia, full of anger, rushed over and demanded, "Did you hide Bianca? Give her back to me!"

Michael frowned, confused, "What are you talking about? I didn't hide her!"

Seeing that he didn't seem to be lying, Olivia grew more anxious.

How could Bianca just disappear like that?

At that moment, Amelia came out of the sitting room.

Seeing the scene, she sneered, "I had Bianca taken away. So what? She's a Johnson. What right do you have to take her?"

Olivia's eyes flashed with fury.

She could tolerate the Johnsons's shamelessness towards her.

But Bianca was her bottom line.

No one could touch her!

"You think you have more rights than I do? When Bianca was severely autistic, did you care about her even once? Did you even look at her? Now you suddenly acknowledge her as a Johnson?

You let an outsider call her father 'Dad' right in front of her without considering her feelings.

During the memorial earlier, Sophia's son called Michael 'Dad,' and the three of them looked like a family. Did any of you think about her being a Johnson then?

"Don't you feel guilty saying this? Amelia, you're shameless!" Olivia shouted, her eyes almost red with anger.

Amelia was left speechless, her face flushed with embarrassment.

Because every word Olivia said was true! But she couldn't stand Olivia's defiance and sneered again, "No matter what you say, Bianca has Johnson blood. That's a fact! If you want custody, forget it, unless you agree to my terms. $500 million, exit the Wilson Group, and never work in the pharmaceutical industry again. No competition with the Johnson Group from now on!"

Olivia's eyes widened in disbelief.

So, the $500 million wasn't even the worst part.

Forcing her out of the pharmaceutical industry was their ultimate goal!

Olivia trembled with anger, her eyes full of hatred as she looked at Amelia and Michael, "Michael, is this your plan? Not only to kick me out of the Johnson Group, but also to blacklist me in the industry? Using Bianca to threaten me?"

Michael was shaken by her gaze.

He frowned and coldly denied, "It's not my doing."

Then he turned to Amelia, "Mom, there's no need to go this far."

But Amelia was relentless, "Why not? Michael, don't be too soft on her! She schemed to marry you, hoping to climb up through the Johnson family. When that didn't work, she started to retaliate. A woman like her deserves to be treated harshly!"

Olivia, infuriated by their disgusting faces, couldn't take it anymore. She grabbed Amelia's clothes. "Hand over Bianca now, or I'll call the cops!"

"Olivia, let go of me!" Amelia shouted angrily, struggling, "I won't hand her over. Go ahead, call the cops. I want to see what you tell them! As her grandmother, taking my granddaughter, what's wrong with that? See if the cops will care!" Her face was full of smugness as she said this!

Olivia's fingers tightened. This woman was truly disgusting! But unfortunately, she was right.

If the police came, they'd likely treat it as a family dispute. Since calling the police was useless, she'd have to handle it her way...

With that thought, Olivia let go of Amelia. Amelia stumbled and fell, looking extremely disheveled.

Olivia's eyes were sharp as knives. "Amelia, if Bianca gets hurt, I will make you pay!"

She then took out her phone and called Evelyn, giving her some instructions.

Evelyn arrived quickly, bringing Lightning with her. As soon as Lightning arrived, it instinctively looked for Bianca. Not finding her, it barked at Olivia.

Olivia knelt down and spoke to it, "Find Bianca."

Seeing this, Amelia's face changed, and she was about to stop them. But Lightning had already darted off. Olivia hurriedly followed.

In no time, Lightning raced through the main hall and sitting room, arriving at a storage room in the backyard.

Once there, it stopped and barked furiously. Olivia and Evelyn rushed over and pushed open the storage room door.

Inside, they saw Bianca's small body curled up on the floor, her dress dirty, and her mouth and limbs taped.

Next to her was Cleo, still holding the tape.

Seeing this, Olivia felt she was about to faint from anger. "Bianca!" She rushed over, kicking Cleo aside.

Cleo was terrified, immediately begging, "Mrs. Olivia Johnson... I'm sorry, Mrs. Amelia Johnson forced me to do it..."

Olivia trembled with rage. She controlled herself and carefully removed the tape from Bianca. Bianca's skin was delicate, and Olivia was worried about hurting her. Fortunately, the tape was newly applied and not too tight. But even without injuries, her skin was still red.

Once free, Bianca threw herself into Olivia's arms, crying, "Mommy..."

She seemed terrified! Olivia's heart broke! Her eyes turned red, her sanity slipping away! How could they do this to Bianca? How dare they?

Olivia, seething with rage, handed Bianca to Evelyn and slapped Cleo several times.

Cleo cried out, not daring to fight back. Michael and Amelia arrived, shocked by Olivia's fury.

Olivia, still furious, glared at Amelia. Amelia was the mastermind behind this. She wouldn't let her off!

Without hesitation, Olivia stormed out, dragging Amelia back in.

"Olivia..." Michael tried to warn her.

The warehouse door shut in his face, and the lock clicked into place!
