Chapter 72 Having Dinner with Andrew
Andrew lowered his gaze to look at her, a gentle smile playing on his lips. "Hey, it's me. Surprised?"
Bianca nodded, "Yeah..."
Andrew ruffled her hair; the coldness in his eyes seemed to melt away a bit.
Olivia watched this scene, a bit taken aback.
Over the years, Bianca had only ever shown such warmth to herself, rarely to anyone else.
Not even her parents or Evelyn, who had to spend a lot of time with her before she opened up.
But with Andrew standing in front of her, she showed no resistance at all. In fact, her face was lit up with fondness!
However, Olivia quickly realized this was to be expected.
Andrew was an exceptional psychologist, skilled at easing his patients' defenses. And he had given Bianca gifts several times before, each one hitting the mark perfectly.
It made perfect sense for Bianca to like him!
At that moment, Bianca and Andrew started chatting effortlessly right in front of her.
That was when Benjamin appeared.
He leaned against the wall as he entered, looking almost faint, his hand clutching his stomach in pain.
Olivia noticed him first and hurriedly asked, "Mr. White, you look terrible. Are you okay?"
Andrew glanced up.
Benjamin looked like he was on the verge of collapse.
He asked, "What happened? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Benjamin waved his hand and sat down, saying, "I think I ate something bad. It's just a stomach bug, no big deal."
He looked at Olivia apologetically, "Sorry, Ms. Garcia, the situation came up suddenly, so I had Andrew fill in for me. Hope it didn't cause any trouble?"
"No, not at all..." Olivia waved her hands, "Mr. Hamilton did a great job. It was an honor to see him."
She had tried several times to meet him before for Bianca's sake but had failed each time. Seeing him today was more of a pleasant surprise than a trouble.
Benjamin smiled weakly, "That's good to hear."
Seeing his poor condition, Olivia hesitated before offering, "Mr. White, if you don't mind, I could treat you? It looks like you might pass out any second."
Benjamin was indeed in discomfort.
His stomach felt like it was being cut by blades. He had hoped it would pass quickly, but it seemed that wasn't going to happen.
He didn't hesitate, "I don't mind. I've heard a lot about your medical skills, Ms. Garcia. Please, go ahead."
Olivia nodded and quickly pulled out her medical kit from her bag.
After sterilizing everything, she began treating Benjamin.
Andrew had heard of Olivia's medical skills but had never seen her in action. Now, watching her work, he was genuinely interested.
He observed without a word.
Olivia's movements were swift and precise. Her methods were different from conventional ones.
This might be an ancient medical technique!
Andrew was surprised. The heritage of ancient medical practices had largely faded into history, with few remaining.
He hadn't expected to see a practitioner right in front of him.
No wonder she could easily treat those in the military.
A hint of admiration flickered in Andrew's deep eyes.
In just a couple of minutes, the pain on Benjamin's face vanished, and his stomachache quickly subsided.
"Is it... already better?" He stared in disbelief, "I don't feel any pain at all!"
Olivia wasn't surprised, just smiled, "My method can quickly alleviate acute stomach issues, but it doesn't mean you're fully healed. You'll still need medication. I didn't bring any today, but I'll get you some later. It's my own formula. If you take it as prescribed, you shouldn't have this problem again."
Benjamin was amazed, "I don't understand the principles, but your technique is incredible! I've suffered from this for years, seen countless doctors, and taken numerous medications. But it's never gotten better this fast!"
Andrew, standing nearby, commented, "Ancient medical techniques are profound. It's normal not to understand."
This surprised Olivia, "Mr. Hamilton, do you know ancient medical techniques?"
Andrew's voice was low, "Not really, but I've seen it used before and read some related materials. Your skills are indeed impressive."
Olivia felt a bit embarrassed, "You're too kind! Compared to that, I think your psychological treatments are truly amazing!"
So many psychologists had been unable to help Bianca, but she had quickly improved under his care.
She genuinely admired Andrew!
Andrew met her gaze and saw the undisguised admiration in her eyes, a smile tugging at his lips.
At that moment, Bianca tugged on his pant leg and handed over a small notebook, in her sweet childlike voice saying, "For you..."
Andrew was surprised and took it, glancing at the cover.
It had a cute drawing of a dog, very abstract, almost like it had been inspired by his own style. But it was full of artistic charm!
"Is this Lightning?" Andrew recognized it immediately, a smile spreading across his face.
Bianca nodded, trying her best to express herself, "You gave me gifts, so I want to give something back..."
Olivia was astonished. She knew about this drawing. Bianca had spent a long time on it. She hadn't expected it was meant for Andrew!
Andrew hadn't expected it either, but solemnly accepted it, "Thank you, Bianca. It's very well done, and I love it! Is Lightning behaving well with you?"
Bianca's face lit up, her voice even more cheerful, "Yes, he's my good friend! But..." She paused, looking a bit troubled, "Lightning was unhappy yesterday and this morning. It seems he needs something... but I don't know what."
Andrew was surprised by Bianca's sensitivity.
He knew more about Lightning's needs and had planned to tell Bianca when the time was right. He hadn't expected her to notice first.
Andrew gently ruffled her hair, "Bianca, you're amazing to notice Lightning's needs. He does need to start learning some skills. After all, he's a little military dog with a mission! He needs to learn to protect you."
Bianca blinked, seeming to understand, and in her sweet childlike voice asked, "So... Lightning needs to become really strong, right?"
Andrew couldn't help but smile, "Yes, so when you have time, bring him to the military base for training."
Bianca nodded eagerly, "Okay."
As they chatted, Olivia stood by, amazed.
She increasingly admired Andrew! Not only had he gotten Bianca to give him a gift, but he had also sparked her sensitivity and got her to discuss it with him.
She spent time with Lightning every day but hadn't noticed anything special about his behavior.
Bianca hadn't mentioned it to her either. Now, Bianca was fully reliant on Andrew!
Moreover, Andrew's patience with Bianca was beyond her expectations.
Olivia felt both grateful and moved. Seizing the opportunity, she said, "Mr. Hamilton, I really appreciate how you've guided Bianca and helped her improve bit by bit! I missed the chance to thank you before, but this time, I must thank you properly!"
Andrew's eyes flickered with a faint smile as if recalling something, "Are you inviting me to dinner?"
"Yes, if it's convenient!" Olivia sincerely invited him. Andrew didn't refuse, simply saying, "Sure."
Seeing his agreement, Olivia's delicate features lit up with joy. She didn't forget to ask Benjamin, "Mr. White, would you like to join us?"
Bianca's recovery was partly thanks to him, and she was grateful.
But Benjamin waved his hand, "I'll pass. I don't have much of an appetite right now. I feel like I'd throw up if I ate anything. You go with Andrew, I'll join next time."
Seeing his condition, Olivia didn't insist. Stomach pain gone didn't mean there were no other effects. His state was understandable. So she nodded, "Alright, next time then!"
After making plans, she took Bianca to the dressing room to change.
When they came out, Andrew had already left the school and was waiting in the car. Olivia, not wanting to keep Andrew waiting, hurried.
On the way, they ran into other parents.
The event had ended, but the changes in their children were evident to all. Everyone was full of praise for the school.
"Choosing this school was definitely the right decision. The teachers are professional and can guide the children's psychology and behavior well."
"Yes, especially Mr. White. He's handsome, gentle, patient, and can lighten the mood. No wonder the kids like him."
"Exactly, my child loves talking about Mr. White!"
"If I were a few years younger, I'd want to date him..."
The conversation veered off-topic, and Olivia smiled but didn't join in.
She quickly reached the school gate with Bianca.
A luxurious Bentley was parked by the roadside.
Next to the car stood David, looking every bit the business elite in his silver-gray suit, standing tall and composed, as if waiting just for them.
As Bianca and Olivia approached, he immediately opened the car door, politely greeting them, "Dr. Garcia, Bianca, nice to see you again. Mr. Hamilton is waiting, please get in."
"Thank you, David." Olivia nodded, letting Bianca get in first.
As she bent down, she caught sight of Andrew.
He had changed out of the mascot costume, now wearing a tailored suit that highlighted his broad shoulders, narrow waist, and long legs. His high nose bridge now sported a pair of gold-rimmed glasses.
The glasses chain hanging on his shoulder added a touch of sophistication and coolness, making him look like a noble gentleman.
Andrew's usually gentle eyes, hidden behind the lenses, now carried an air of untouchable mystery!
