Chapter 375 Nothing Is More Important Than You
Andrew lowered his eyes, his heart twisting with a dull ache.
He knew her grievance was undeniable.
So after pulling her into his arms, he gently reassured her, "I believe you. I know you've always been careful."
She worked so late every day.
Sometimes, even when they were chatting nicely, things from work during the day would suddenly pop back into her mind.
Then she would record everything in detail in her notebook.
How could someone so serious be careless and record the wrong data?
"Don't worry, this will be cleared up soon." The moment he got the news, he had already sent people over to help with the investigation.
Outsiders didn't know the situation.
In fact, the research institute's system was developed by Skyward Corporation itself.
Skyward Corporation had always been responsible for maintaining the system.
Data before printing couldn't be taken out of the research institute and could only be accessed internally.
This would definitely leave traces.
However, retrieving and restoring it would take time for the technical staff.
To put her mind at ease, Andrew didn't hide this from her. He quickly got her in the car and explained the situation.
Olivia was a bit stunned.
She really hadn't expected that the research institute's system belonged to Skyward Corporation.
But her anxious heart finally settled a bit.
Just as Andrew said, data tampering could only be done through the internal system.
Although she didn't know how Zoey managed to do it right under her and Oscar's noses, doing something wrong would definitely leave traces.
Her mind became active again.
Thinking back, from when the document was handed to Oscar to when it was printed out, there wasn't much time for her to make a move!
It was probably less than half an hour total.
At this thought, Olivia perked up. "In that half hour, Zoey must have used some kind of trick. If so, maybe the surveillance footage will show something."
Seeing her bounce back so quickly with such clear thinking, Andrew's eyes flickered with a smile and admiration. "Right, then report this to your supervisor. The investigation team surely won't miss any clues."
"Okay." Olivia immediately pulled out her phone and messaged Leon about the situation.
Leon replied: [I understand everything you said. I'll have someone focus on checking the surveillance footage!]
Then his tone became kind: [Olivia, don't worry too much. Just wait at home for news. If there are any results, I'll notify you right away.]
Olivia felt warmth in her heart and replied: [Okay, thank you, Dr. Banks.]
After messaging Leon, Olivia tried to relax.
Everything would be proven with time.
After putting away her phone, Olivia looked at Andrew again and asked with concern, "You rushed over so quickly—did it interfere with your work?"
Andrew shook his head. "No."
When he heard about her situation, he dropped everything immediately.
Andrew seriously repeated to her, "I told you, nothing is more important to me than you."
Olivia blinked, sweetness spreading through her heart.
She affectionately rested her head on the man's shoulder, a gentle smile on her lips.
Having such a boyfriend, she was really so lucky.
Before, no matter what happened, she had to handle it herself. She didn't even have anyone to talk things over with.
But after being with him, she was so well protected.
Before she even had to act, this man would solve everything for her.
David glanced at the two lovebirds in the rearview mirror. Though he didn't really want to ruin the mood, he couldn't help but remind them. "Mr. Hamilton, you left halfway through the shareholders' meeting. Those people are all waiting for you to come back and continue."
Andrew looked up slowly at his words and glanced at him.
As if blaming him for being a blabbermouth.
David felt quite innocent, but thought to himself, 'Mr. Hamilton rushing over for love and dropping work—of course, Dr. Garcia should know about this!
Such a good chance to show his devotion, how can Mr. Hamilton not know how to seize it?'
Olivia paused slightly, as if understanding David's thoughts. She couldn't help but laugh. "Andrew, lying is a bad habit."
She held the man's hand, interlacing their fingers, and said softly, "Next time, it's okay to come a bit later."
Seeing her being so understanding, Andrew felt his heart melt.
He squeezed her fingers and said, "I can't be slow. I was worried something happened to you.
But there are still things at the company. Why don't you come with me? Keep me company?"
Olivia hesitated. "Is that okay?"
Andrew smiled, gripping her hand a bit tighter. "Of course. I'll show you around and let you meet some people.
That way, when you come to see me in the future, no one will fail to recognize you."
These words were truly tempting to Olivia.
She felt her heartbeat lose control.
He wanted the company employees to know her identity and existence?
Thinking back to her treatment at the Johnson Group.
Until the divorce was exposed, people didn't know about her relationship with Michael.
Before that, only a few top executives knew her identity.
Michael was afraid of people knowing about their relationship.
Andrew's approach showed complete respect for her.
Olivia openly accepted his kindness, nodding obediently. "Okay, then I'll keep you company!"
Andrew was satisfied and immediately instructed David, "To the company."
"Yes!" David smiled and acknowledged the order, watching the sweet couple.
An hour later, the car arrived at Skyward Corporation.
As soon as she got out, Olivia saw a highly futuristic office building before her.
The sign on top was held up by a soft white cloud.
But visually, it gave off a feeling of towering dominance.
This was where he worked every day.
Andrew got out from the other side of the car, looking at Olivia gently and extending his hand. "Let's go inside."
"Okay!" Olivia nodded and placed her hand in his.
The two walked in side by side.
It was exactly when employees were coming to work.
They immediately spotted Andrew holding hands with a young, beautiful woman.
Everyone's expressions froze, their eyes burning as they stared at Olivia.
As everyone knew, Andrew was famously aloof and uninterested in women.
Throughout the entire company, he had many admirers.
But for so long, not one of them had gotten close to him.
Not to mention, in the previous years, Andrew rarely even showed up.
Only in these past few months had he started appearing at the company regularly.
Those who admired him thought their chance had come and tried everything to appear before Andrew.
Hoping to leave a good impression on him.
However, before they could even start making their moves, they saw Andrew bringing his 'girlfriend' to the company.
