Chapter 335 Who Wouldn't Like It
Andrew replied calmly, "She's my daughter."
The man leading the group was Charlie Moore, the head of the Moore family—one of Harmony City's top ten families.
Besides this identity, he was also Andrew's classmate.
He had a good relationship with both Andrew and Benjamin, and was known for being mature, steady, and gentlemanly.
Hearing Andrew's words, his expression became thoughtful.
Earlier, there had been a huge uproar in Harmony City about Andrew falling for a divorced woman with a child.
Later, word got out that the two had split up.
Yet now, Andrew was personally taking his daughter out!
Charlie understood Andrew's personality, so he immediately said with a light laugh, "So this is Bianca. I've heard she's extremely talented at painting. We've never met her before—finally decided to bring her out today?"
The others present weren't clueless either.
Hearing this, they all suddenly understood.
"Andrew, Bianca is so adorable, with that delicate little face like a beautiful porcelain doll."
"If you were bringing your child, why didn't you say so earlier? We came in such a hurry and didn't know she'd be here—we didn't prepare any gifts."
Someone patted their pockets but couldn't find anything suitable to give.
Finally remembering something, they suddenly said, "Does Bianca like horses? How about I give her the best little pony—she can ride it for fun!"
"This is the sports car I just picked up a couple days ago, first time driving it today—I'll give it to Bianca!"
Seeing these two being so generous, the others weren't about to be outdone. "I don't have anything good to give right now, but my family just developed a new villa complex that's about to launch. I'll save one for Bianca!"
Charlie, seeing everyone giving gifts, smiled and spoke up too. "Bianca's painting style really has your touch. Last month, I happened to buy a painting at an overseas auction. I'll have someone send it to her later for her collection."
He could clearly see who had taught Bianca her painting skills.
This also showed him how important this child was to Andrew.
In just a few minutes, Bianca had received gifts worth a fortune.
Andrew raised an eyebrow, looking at these people's enthusiastic goodwill, but didn't refuse. "Then I'll accept them on Bianca's behalf."
This was actually his purpose for today.
Besides bringing Bianca here to paint, he wanted everyone to see her.
Everyone outside was saying he and Olivia had split up.
Olivia was busy and he couldn't bring her out, so he brought Bianca out first to make an appearance.
These people in front of him were all carefully selected.
Whether in character or ability, they all passed muster, and they all had business dealings with each other.
Everyone here was smart—they could see he valued Bianca, which was why they were being so generous.
Andrew raised his hand and called Bianca over from the floor-to-ceiling window. "Bianca."
Earlier, Bianca had been immersed in her own world, seemingly oblivious to the noise around her.
But the moment she heard Andrew's voice, it was like a conditioned reflex—she immediately looked over and asked in a sweet childlike voice, "Daddy, what's wrong?"
"Come here." Andrew beckoned to her, and Bianca trotted over.
Seeing so many unfamiliar people, Bianca felt a bit shy and instinctively sought comfort by hiding in Andrew's arms.
Andrew gently rubbed her head and said in a tender voice, "These gentlemen have given you some gifts. Say thank you to them."
Bianca's round eyes looked at each of them.
They were all unfamiliar faces, so she was naturally a bit timid, making her expression look quite shy.
Her little hand unconsciously clutched at Andrew's collar.
Andrew sensed her emotions and gently patted her back, soothing her. "Don't be afraid."
Bianca nodded, then said in a sweet childlike voice, "Thank you for the gifts."
The room fell silent as everyone looked at the little girl before them with amazement.
Her features were delicate and beautiful, her skin smooth, her little hands chubby—she looked just like a porcelain doll with soft, plump cheeks.
Those eyes, when looking at them, were like a newborn fawn's—clear, innocent, with a touch of curiosity.
That soft, sweet little voice was incredibly adorable.
These people's hearts melted on the spot.
What a cute little girl.
Charlie suddenly understood why Andrew had acknowledged this daughter.
Who wouldn't love such a sweet and adorable child?
Without thinking, Charlie immediately took off his expensive watch from his wrist and placed it on the table. "Sweetie, sell this and use it to buy candy."
With him taking the lead, the others weren't about to be outdone and started removing necklaces and rings.
"Sweetie, these are all for you."
"And this, take them all, go buy toys and treats later."
Bianca was startled by their sudden enthusiasm and became even more at a loss, only able to cling tightly to Andrew.
Andrew held her and gently, patiently comforted her.
Then he calmly raised his eyes and said to the group, "Take back the used items. They're not appropriate for Bianca."
But the group wouldn't have it. "This is for Bianca, Andrew, you must accept it."
"Yes, just take them for now, and we'll send over things she can actually use when we get back."
"Yes..."
The group was extremely enthusiastic, taking an interest in Bianca and coaxing her to get to know them.
Charlie, in a refined and steady tone, told Bianca, "I grew up with your dad and Benjamin. My name is Charlie."
Hearing Benjamin's name, Bianca stared at him curiously and asked, "Are you really good friends with my dad and Mr. White?"
Charlie said with a light laugh, "Of course. Ask your dad if you don't believe me."
Bianca tilted her head up to look at Andrew.
Andrew nodded, not denying it.
Bianca looked back at Charlie and said obediently, "Okay, I'll remember you!"
Hearing Bianca address him, Charlie immediately smiled with satisfaction. "Bianca, you're such a good girl."
The others, not caring if they might upset Andrew, coaxed Bianca to remember them.
To make Bianca remember them, they pulled out all the stops.
During introductions, some even said, "Bianca, I have a little girl at home who's a bit older than you. How about I bring her over another day to play with you?"
Others immediately followed suit. "I have a little boy at home too..."
Hearing this, Andrew lifted his eyelids, glanced at the person, and reminded them coolly, "Daughters are fine, sons are not!"
His tone left no room for argument, yet his actions remained gentle.
He held Bianca's little water bottle and helped her drink.
Bianca obediently sipped from the straw.
The man choked on his words, seeming to realize something, looking somewhat incredulous.
The others laughed out loud.
Who would have thought that Harmony City's famous Andrew would dote on his daughter so much!
If word got out, who would believe it!
But it was understandable—if this were their daughter, they definitely wouldn't allow other boys near her either.
This kind of education about keeping boys and girls separate should start from childhood!
Everyone chatted and laughed, the atmosphere pleasant.
After Bianca finished meeting everyone, Andrew didn't keep her and let her go back to painting.
The others brought the conversation back to business matters.
After chatting for a while, seeing it was about time, they all said their goodbyes.
Charlie was the last to leave.
He looked at Andrew with a smile and said, "A while back, I was on a business trip abroad and heard about your situation. I thought those people were crazy, daring to spread rumors about you—must have a death wish. Today, I realize they actually understated it. You're serious about this."
Andrew raised an eyebrow slightly, looked at his friend, and asked coolly, "When have I ever not been serious about anything I do?"
Charlie thought about it and smiled. "True."
From childhood to adulthood, Andrew had always had his own considerations for everything he did.
And he never spoke lightly.
He just hadn't expected that this time, Andrew's seriousness would be so remarkable.
He offered his sincere congratulations. "Anyway, congratulations on finally finding someone who shares your heart. When your grandfather sent you to the mountains to recuperate, I was worried you'd just stay there for the rest of your life and never come back down. Now I don't have to worry anymore. Next time you have time, bring your girlfriend out so we can all get together. Stop letting Benjamin show off in front of me all the time."
Andrew smiled slightly. "We'll see when she's free. No rush."
"Alright." Charlie nodded and soon left as well.
After everyone left, the café became quiet again. Andrew didn't receive anyone else and peacefully kept Bianca company while she painted.
That day, news about Andrew taking his daughter out for business meetings spread through high society circles.
Everyone who had met Bianca praised her without exception.
"Mr. Hamilton's daughter is incredibly adorable!"
"Mr. Hamilton dotes on his daughter so much, he practically gives her everything she wants!"
"I've never seen him with such a gentle expression!"
"Those saying he and Ms. Smith split up are all spreading rumors. He treats Ms. Smith's daughter completely as his own child!"
Those wealthy heiresses who had been getting ideas were immediately discouraged.
The thoughts and courage they had just mustered were instantly crushed again.
That evening, Evelyn and Benjamin had dinner together.
Their companies were planning to collaborate on an overseas project.
When Evelyn heard the news, she could hardly believe it.
"Mr. Hamilton took Bianca to a business meeting? Is this real or fake?"
Benjamin, as if he'd already guessed she would ask about this, smiled and handed her his phone directly. "Charlie put it up on Facebook. No way it's fake."
Hearing this, Evelyn immediately leaned over to look.
The photo showed Andrew holding Bianca, giving her water.
Only Bianca's profile was visible.
As for Andrew, only a small portion of his face showed.
The man was in a suit, his jawline sharp and defined, his demeanor cool and distant, but from his actions, the affection and patience were unmistakable.
As for Bianca, her profile was soft and adorable, especially cute.
The two of them together formed a particularly warm and loving picture.
With the evidence right in front of her, no one could say this was fake!
