Chapter 334 The Reward for Hard Work
Finnegan was having a tough time over there.
Olivia had been worried that when Finnegan found out later, he'd blame her for it.
However, Andrew told her, "I won't let that happen. He'll never know."
Olivia couldn't help but laugh.
A few days later, she finally finished making the medicinal meals and remedies tailored to his physical condition.
Then she urged Andrew to take them back.
That evening, Andrew returned to the Hamilton Mansion carrying bags of all sizes.
When Finnegan saw him come in, he was still upset and didn't give Andrew a pleasant look.
Finnegan said sarcastically, "Well, so you still remember to come see me. I thought you'd forgotten all about me."
Hearing this, Andrew raised an eyebrow and placed the things in his hands in front of Finnegan.
Instead of arguing back, he went along with it, "If I'd forgotten, I wouldn't have made a special trip tonight to bring you all these things for your health."
Following his gesture, Finnegan's eyes fell on the items on the table. "Hmph, what good things haven't I seen? You think this will make me less angry? You really underestimate me!"
Andrew sat down across from him unhurriedly and said, "Is that so? So you're that ungrateful? And here I was thinking about reducing your training time by an hour. Now it seems..."
Before he could finish, Finnegan's expression changed.
He immediately forgot about being angry and quickly said, "I'll eat them! I'll definitely eat them on time every day. I'm in great health!"
The implication being he didn't need that much training.
Seeing his reaction, Andrew found it rather amusing.
He said, "Of course you need to eat them on time, can't waste a bit."
Otherwise, it would be a waste of all Olivia's hard work making these for him!
Andrew didn't mention yet that these were from Olivia.
He needed to let Finnegan appreciate how good these things were first before bringing it up later.
Otherwise, knowing Finnegan's personality, he probably wouldn't want to accept them.
Seeing Andrew being so thoughtful, Finnegan finally softened a bit, then said to him, "Since you're back, I'll tell you - Anna is coming back this weekend. You need to pick her up from the airport yourself."
"Okay." Andrew had no objection to this.
The next day, Andrew picked up Olivia after work, then went back to spend time with Bianca.
The three of them enjoyed their rare family time together, watching a movie in the home theater.
When it ended, Andrew also mentioned to Olivia that tomorrow, Saturday, he would take Bianca out to paint outdoors.
Olivia was a bit worried, "Can you handle it by yourself?"
She had heavy responsibilities at the research institute and couldn't get away, so Andrew would have to take her alone.
Andrew's eyes were deep as he asked instead of answering, "What do you think?"
Olivia blinked, realizing her question was pointless.
Of course he could - he'd taken care of her alone before.
It's just that she worried Bianca might interfere with his work.
After all, she knew how busy Andrew was.
He often squeezed time to be with them while finding moments to handle business matters.
Andrew gently squeezed her hand and said, "It's fine. Bianca is very well-behaved. Give her something to do and she can occupy herself for an entire afternoon. She's easy to take care of, don't worry."
Bianca was already sleepy by now, nestled in Andrew's arms. Hearing Olivia's words, she rubbed her eyes and said, "Mommy, don't worry. I'll be very good and listen to Daddy!"
Seeing them both say this, Olivia could only smile and say, "Alright, I trust you both."
The two of them first took Bianca back to sleep.
After coming out of Bianca's room, Olivia said to Andrew, "Thanks for your hard work tomorrow."
Andrew looked at her with deep eyes and said, "It's not hard. Of course, a little reward would make it even better."
Olivia caught the implication in his words.
She smiled, stood on her tiptoes, and gave him a kiss.
Andrew naturally wrapped his arm around her waist, gradually deepening the kiss.
That night at the hot spring, although they had shared some intimate moments, in their interactions afterward, Andrew had returned to being a gentleman.
Each time he would just kiss her and go no further.
Olivia figured that maybe that night, they had both been clouded by alcohol, which made even someone usually so calm and controlled lose his composure.
The simple goodnight kiss didn't last too long.
Mindful that she had work tomorrow, Andrew sent her back to her room before returning to rest himself.
The next morning, after breakfast together, Andrew took Bianca out.
Before leaving, Olivia reminded Andrew, "If something comes up, just have Yara pick up Bianca. Don't let it interfere with your work."
"Okay." Andrew agreed to everything, then he and Bianca first dropped her off at the research institute.
After that, they found a suitable place for painting outdoors.
This was Bianca's first time going out to paint since coming to Harmony City.
Bianca was exceptionally excited.
This time, her painting theme was 'nature.'
Such a theme had a broad scope.
Andrew helped Bianca look for inspiration, first choosing an equestrian club in the suburbs.
This club was built against a mountain, and because it was built with huge investment, there was even a golf course nearby.
Nestled in the mountains with water nearby, this scenic location was a leisure spot frequented by many wealthy people in Harmony City.
As a place catering to the rich and noble, the complete set of facilities went without saying.
Coffee shops, upscale restaurants - everything was available.
After Andrew and Bianca got out of the car, he went straight to the top floor of the coffee shop.
The open-air café had the best view. From here, they could observe various sceneries around them and feel nature's gentle breeze blowing past.
Bianca clearly loved this place. After arriving, she wasn't shy at all, walking over here to look, over there to see.
David helped her set up the easel.
Andrew said to her, "Bianca, you look for inspiration here by yourself. I'll be nearby handling work. Call me if you need anything, okay?"
Bianca was especially well-behaved and replied, "Okay!"
Today, bringing Bianca out to paint, Andrew had also arranged to meet with a few heirs from wealthy Harmony City families with whom he had decent relations.
After Bianca got ready, she obediently stayed in front of her easel, looking for her inspiration.
When Andrew was discussing business, he instructed two bodyguards to watch over Bianca nearby.
The entire top floor had no other customers, so the few wealthy heirs who came kept glancing at Bianca.
Their eyes showed curiosity and were full of interest.
Finally, someone couldn't hold back and asked directly, "Is that cute little girl over there a child from Andrew's relatives? I don't think I've seen her before?"
