Chapter 322 Holding You and Walking
The night was deep, and soft moonlight poured down, falling on the two people wrapped in each other's arms on the balcony.
This kiss was incredibly romantic.
When it ended, Olivia leaned against Andrew, feeling her legs were so weak she could barely stand.
Once again, she felt so embarrassed.
Why was she always at a disadvantage whenever they kissed?
At the same time, Olivia couldn't help but wonder—was he really a beginner?
Why did it feel like with each kiss, he got better and better, like some kind of expert?
Olivia couldn't help but look up at him and ask, "You said before that this was your first relationship, so... what about kissing?"
Andrew's refined features showed traces of desire and a faint blush, looking dangerously attractive.
Hearing this, he raised an eyebrow and answered, "You were also my first kiss. Any questions?"
Olivia mumbled, "It's just that your performance seems like... you're some kind of player..."
Every time he kissed her until she couldn't resist.
Andrew hadn't expected her to say that.
He laughed softly and said, "That's unfair to me. At most, I'm just smart and learn things quickly.
Besides, in front of someone I like, I always want to do well.
From the looks of it, I've made you pretty satisfied?"
He was fine not saying anything, but once he did, Olivia felt her face starting to burn again.
She buried her head in his chest and said with a hot face, "No!"
"Really?" Andrew said with a smile. "Then it seems I need more practice?"
His slender fingers gently pinched her neck as he said in a husky voice near her ear, "Let's continue. I hope you'll cooperate so I can get more skilled."
Then, without waiting for Olivia's agreement, he lifted her head and another kiss came down.
Soon, she was completely surrounded by his presence.
Everywhere she looked, she saw the man's refined features and eyes full of affection.
Olivia slowly closed her eyes too.
She felt the person in front of her was too bewitching.
No matter what he did or said, it carried an intense charm that made her unconsciously addicted.
In the end, she could only be led around by the nose, and willingly at that.
Who knows how much time passed, but just when Olivia felt she could barely breathe, Andrew finally let her go.
Olivia's breathing was a bit shaky, and she was practically clinging to Andrew to keep from falling.
She glared at him with embarrassment and annoyance, "It's all your fault, I can't stand steady!"
Andrew looked down at her.
Olivia had just been teased, her eyes covered with a layer of mist, wet and glistening, her lips bright and tempting, as if inviting him to continue what they'd just been doing.
Andrew's gaze deepened.
He realized that the more contact they had, the worse his self-control became around her.
For now, he could barely manage.
But if this continued, it might be questionable.
To him, Olivia could stir his impulses, yet also made him feel tender and protective.
Others said he was cold, his temperament like an iceberg.
Little did they know, once the iceberg melted, all his tenderness belonged to her.
Andrew readily picked her up, his voice low and husky as he said, "It's okay. If you can't stand steady, I'll just carry you."
Olivia let out a startled cry, quickly grabbing his shoulders, her tone shy, "Andrew, put me down!"
Andrew wasn't about to let go of this hard-won opportunity. He held her steadily and even reminded her, "Don't move, or you really will fall.
Bianca has been painting for a while now. Let's go see how she's doing and if she's finished."
Olivia could accept the first part.
But the second part made her tense up again, "No..."
Being carried by him to see their daughter like this was too embarrassing!
She was an adult, not a child!
Andrew earnestly advised her near her ear, "Olivia, do you know what the best example for a child is? It's parents who love each other!
For Bianca, emotional connection in terms of family affection is what she needs most.
Being too secretive in front of her won't help her. Instead, it will make her worried or anxious.
We didn't have that option before, but now we do."
Hearing this, Olivia's expression shifted slightly.
She found she couldn't argue with that.
Back then, Michael was stingy with his care and fatherly love for Bianca, causing her condition to worsen until she had to forget him and accept Andrew, who treated her well, as her dad.
When they weren't together, Andrew still cooperated, giving Bianca a sense of security by playing the father's role.
Now that they were together, they really didn't need to be so awkward about it.
In a child's eyes, it was normal for mom and dad to have a good relationship and interact more.
Olivia immediately stopped squirming and obediently hooked her arms around Andrew's neck, asking, "If things keep going like this, will Bianca completely get better?"
Andrew saw how obedient she was and chuckled softly, saying, "You spend time with her every day. You should be able to tell if she's getting better."
Olivia thought about it.
Compared to before, Bianca now was indeed noticeably different.
Especially when Andrew was around, Bianca's condition was even better—no different from an ordinary child.
So what he said was true.
Olivia softly pressed against him and said, "Okay, I'll listen to you."
Andrew was in a good mood, really enjoying this feeling of being completely trusted by her.
When they returned to the studio, Bianca had just finished a painting and was cleaning her brushes.
Hearing the noise at the door, she turned to look, her sweet little voice saying happily, "Daddy, I'm done!"
As soon as she finished speaking, she saw Olivia being carried.
Bianca was immediately startled and ran over nervously to ask, "Daddy, why are you carrying Mommy? Is Mommy hurt?"
No wonder Bianca thought this way—Olivia and Andrew had never done this in front of her before.
So Bianca naturally assumed Olivia was injured.
Seeing Bianca's reaction was completely different from what she expected, Olivia's ears started burning.
She quickly got down from Andrew's arms and hurried to explain, "No, I'm fine, I'm not hurt. It's just... Daddy and I have a good relationship, so he carried me to find you."
Bianca blinked her big eyes, as if understanding something, and said with a sweet smile, "Oh, I see! Mommy, I'm glad you're not hurt. Then from now on, Daddy can carry you more often.
I like being carried by Daddy. Mommy, you must like it too!"
Children say the darndest things, but Olivia was left blushing and flustered by these words.
But in her heart, she also agreed with Andrew's point.
Bianca was really happy about her parents being affectionate.
Andrew readily agreed, "Alright, then I'll carry you both more often. Now, let me first see how Bianca's painting turned out."
Bianca immediately stepped aside.
After Andrew looked at it, he commented on her painting and pointed out some areas that needed improvement.
Bianca kept nodding her little head beside him, listening very carefully.
Later, after Andrew helped frame the painting, Bianca was already tired, sitting in a chair yawning and rubbing her eyes.
Seeing this, Olivia was about to take her to bathe.
That's when she remembered they didn't have any clothes here.
But Andrew seemed to have anticipated this and said first, "There are clothes for you and Bianca in the walk-in closet."
Hearing this, Olivia looked somewhat surprised.
Andrew looked at her with a smile in his eyes and said, "Go take a look."
Olivia nodded and followed him to the bedroom.
Just as Andrew said, there really were clothes for them here.
Everything was incredibly complete—various styles of beautiful dresses, matching shoes, hats, everything you could think of.
And there were even several sets of matching mother-daughter outfits.
Seeing this, Olivia was even more amazed.
She turned to look at Andrew and asked, "When did you prepare all this?"
Andrew said, "When I had people set up your villa last time, I got these done too. I figured they'd come in handy someday."
Hearing this answer, Olivia found it amusing.
This man's tone was really confident.
But his approach was indeed thoughtful.
Probably back then, he was already thinking about the day when he'd bring her and Bianca here.
Olivia's mood was both sweet and happy.
This showed that Andrew had always been thinking about their future together and the long term.
This sense of security was something she'd never had before.
Perhaps he understood in his heart that being with him might make her feel insecure, might expose her to outside attacks.
So he did his best to create an environment where she felt stable.
Olivia looked at the man beside her and decided not to be so reserved. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed his cheek, saying, "Thank you, they're all beautiful."
Bianca also came over and kissed his other cheek, "Thank you, Daddy! The clothes are so pretty, I love them!"
Andrew felt his heart soften, his gaze becoming tender as he said, "As long as you like them. Go take your bath now."
"Okay."
Olivia smiled, let Bianca pick out a set of pajamas she wanted to wear, and went into the bathroom.
The sound of running water came from inside. Andrew's tall figure stood outside.
A sense of home and warmth surrounded him.
His heart felt inexplicably full.
For the first time, he felt this house wasn't so empty anymore.
This was how it should have been all along!
In the bathroom, Olivia was thinking the same thing: 'If only life could go on like this forever.'
This was what home looked like in her dreams.
Andrew had fulfilled all her expectations.
How could this person be so wonderful?
When Olivia came out with Bianca, Andrew had already returned to his own room.
That night, she slept in his villa more soundly than ever before.
The next morning, she was woken by her alarm.
She groggily reached to turn off her phone, but suddenly saw a financial news notification.
