Chapter 302 No Resistance to Him
While Olivia was spacing out, Andrew's voice came through with a smile, "Awake?"
His voice was deep and pleasant.
Olivia suddenly snapped back to reality, withdrew her gaze a bit embarrassed, and said, "I think I accidentally fell asleep last night."
Andrew's lips curved slightly, "My fault. I fell asleep directly and didn't let you leave."
Olivia didn't really mind that. She just asked with concern, "Did you sleep well last night?"
She had fallen asleep herself and hadn't noticed.
Andrew's expression looked quite satisfied as he said, "Pretty good. Thanks to your aromatherapy and medicinal oil, I rarely got such a good night's sleep."
Olivia looked up at him again. Seeing that he did look quite energetic and didn't have yesterday's tired look, she felt relieved.
She got up from the bed, tidied up the bedding, and then said to him, "You get yourself together first. I'll go back to wash up. Yara should have breakfast ready."
With that, Olivia was about to leave.
However, as she passed by Andrew, the man pulled her back.
"What's wrong?" Olivia looked at him with confusion.
Andrew put down the towel in his hand, his eyes slightly curved, and leaned toward her.
Before Olivia could react, he planted a light kiss on her forehead.
His warm voice said softly, "Haven't said good morning yet."
Olivia's cheeks suddenly flushed red. She quickly covered her forehead, stepped back two steps, and said, "I haven't washed my face yet!"
Andrew chuckled, looking quite pleased, "It's fine, I don't mind. Go on, I'll go dry my hair."
Olivia was captivated by the smile on his face and walked out in a daze.
After returning to her room, her mind was still fuzzy.
She realized that the cool and reserved Andrew, when in a relationship, would also start to become more proactive.
And this side of him was really a bit hard to handle.
Just a simple good morning kiss could make her heart race, and she couldn't help but recall last night's passionate intimacy.
If this continued, how could she resist him?
The more Olivia thought about it, the hotter her face felt. She quickly splashed cold water on her face.
After a while, her excited emotions finally calmed down.
Twenty minutes later, after washing up, Olivia came downstairs and saw that Andrew was already down, talking with Bianca in the yard.
Olivia walked over and curiously asked them, "What are you two talking about? Time for breakfast."
Bianca had a sweet smile on her face.
She had woken up this morning to see both her daddy and mommy, so she was in a particularly good mood.
Seeing Olivia appear, she immediately waved at her and called out, "Mommy, Mommy, Daddy said he's going to have someone send little turtles and lots of little fish to put in the pond!"
Olivia looked at Andrew warily and asked, "No crocodiles, right?"
Given Andrew's level of indulgence toward Bianca, Olivia had no doubt he would actually do that.
If he really sent crocodiles, she'd probably be scared to death by these dangerous creatures every day!
Seeing her expression as if facing a great enemy, Andrew couldn't help but laugh and reassured her, "No, I've already explained the food chain issue to her. She's given up on raising crocodiles now.
If she really likes them, we can consider it later when we move to a manor villa with a bigger pond!"
Hearing this, Bianca's face lit up with anticipation, her eyes sparkling like little stars, "Really?"
Olivia found it amusing and stopped Andrew from making promises, saying, "Don't spoil her too much."
But Andrew said with a smile, "It's fine. Bianca is so adorable, she can have whatever she wants."
"Wow!"
Hearing this, Bianca happily hugged Andrew's neck, "Daddy, you love me the most!"
Then with a "smack," she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek.
Andrew pinched her cheek, picked up Bianca, and said to Olivia, "Let's go have breakfast."
"Yeah!" Bianca nodded her head.
Olivia then followed them inside.
Yara had prepared a very hearty breakfast this morning.
She hadn't noticed at first, but when she saw Olivia and Andrew eating, she noticed something different.
She observed again to make sure.
She found that they had quite a bit of interaction while eating.
Andrew put a waffle on Olivia's plate, and Olivia also put one on his.
The air between these two was filled with an inexplicably sweet atmosphere.
Previously in Emerald City, although their interactions had that kind of vibe, they were still quite careful to avoid suspicion and didn't do things like serving food to each other.
Were they together now?
Realizing this, Yara was immediately overjoyed, even happier than the two people involved.
She thought they looked perfect together no matter how she looked at them!
It wasn't easy—they finally worked things out!
Olivia didn't notice Yara's expression.
After breakfast, Andrew was about to leave.
Before leaving, he received a phone call.
After hanging up, he turned around and said to Olivia with some apology, "Tonight, I probably won't be able to come over. I have to make a short business trip. I'll be back the day after tomorrow."
"So sudden?" Olivia was a bit surprised.
Andrew said apologetically, "Just got the news. I need to go there in person."
Olivia naturally knew that for Skyward Corporation to require him to go personally, it must be something important.
She didn't want him to delay work because of her.
So she quickly said, "It's okay, you do what you need to do. We'll wait for you at home. Just don't work too hard when you're away, and make sure to eat and sleep on time."
After saying this, Olivia's tone paused, as if remembering some unpleasant memory.
She worried that Andrew might find such reminders annoying.
Because in the past, when Michael went on trips, she also habitually reminded him like this.
But Michael often found her very annoying.
Olivia thought she had long since lost and forgotten this habit of caring.
Unexpectedly, it was still ingrained in her bones and just came out.
She couldn't help but glance at Andrew carefully, wanting to observe his reaction.
The man looked at her with deep eyes, his expression showing obvious tenderness and a smile, "I've traveled for business often before, but no one ever thoughtfully reminded me like this when I left.
This feeling is quite nice. Keep it up."
After speaking, he raised his hand and gently rubbed Olivia's head.
His words and actions showed no sign of displeasure at all.
Seeing this, the tension in Olivia's heart suddenly relaxed.
She smiled happily and said to the man, "Then you should go. Have a safe trip."
Bianca didn't sense the emotions between the adults, but she also followed suit and reminded Andrew in a sweet childlike voice, "Daddy, you have to take care of yourself, don't go hungry, don't get sick, or Mommy and I will feel bad!"
Andrew's eyes softened as he agreed, "Okay, Bianca, you listen to Mommy at home too. I'll bring you gifts when I come back."
"Yeah, okay! Bye Daddy!" Bianca happily nodded her little head and waved to Andrew.
Andrew didn't linger any longer and soon got in the car with David.
After seeing him off, Olivia took Bianca back inside.
As soon as they entered, she saw Yara's smiling expression.
Just as she was about to ask Yara what made her so happy, Yara spoke first, asking with a smile, "Ms. Smith, are you and Mr. Hamilton together now?"
Olivia felt a bit embarrassed but didn't deny it and nodded.
The smile on Yara's face immediately became even brighter as she said happily, "Then it looks like we'll need to stock up on men's toiletries at home from now on? Should we also prepare some clothes?"
At this point, she seemed to remember something and said, "David came very early this morning to bring clothes for Mr. Hamilton."
Olivia really hadn't thought of that.
However, now that their relationship was established, it made sense to be prepared.
So she said, "Let's go shopping this afternoon and call Evelyn too."
Seeing her take the initiative, Yara also agreed with a smile, "Okay!"
In the afternoon, the three of them went out together and arranged to meet Evelyn at the mall.
They first bought some daily necessities, then went to the clothing section to buy clothes.
Seeing Olivia looking at men's clothing, Evelyn only then learned about them being together.
Her expression was completely shocked. "How did you two work things out so quickly?"
Just the day before, she was worried about this and that, but now they were together?
Olivia usually told her everything.
Evelyn had also worried a lot about her situation with Andrew.
So she didn't hide anything now and briefly explained what happened yesterday.
Hearing that Andrew had called off his engagement for Olivia and made his feelings clear, Evelyn was even more satisfied with him.
She immediately praised him, "That's more like it! A man like this is worth entrusting your life to!
Unlike some people who are fickle, cheating and having affairs—disgusting!"
It was obvious who that last comment was about without asking.
Olivia didn't want to discuss it further. After talking with Evelyn, she focused on picking out clothes for Andrew.
Andrew usually wore custom-made clothes, so the quality went without saying. Olivia also bought custom-made styles.
However, after selecting all the styles and asking the clerk to get them, she realized she didn't even know what size Andrew wore.
Evelyn was right beside her, nudging her with her elbow, suggesting, "What's so hard about that? Just call or text him and ask."
"Well..." Olivia felt a bit embarrassed.
Evelyn smiled and said, "You two are together now. There's nothing to be embarrassed about. Besides, asking about this is perfectly legitimate."
With Evelyn putting it that way, Olivia thought it made sense and sent Andrew a message.
Olivia: [Are you busy right now?]
Andrew directly called Olivia instead.
Seeing this, Evelyn leaned close to her ear and whispered, "Ask about his measurements—that's more accurate. If they don't fit, they can still be altered."
"Okay." Olivia nodded and quickly answered the phone.
Andrew's pleasant voice came through, "What's up?"
Olivia's mind was still on what Evelyn had reminded her to say. Without thinking, she blurted out, "What's your size?"
