Chapter 252 Did Andrew Kiss Her?
Just as Olivia was about to head back to her room, she looked down and noticed Bianca following behind her.
She quickly stopped Bianca and coaxed her, "Bianca, wait here for me. Once I'm all clean and fresh, I'll come back and hold you, okay?"
Bianca hesitated for a few seconds before nodding.
Rodolfo could tell that Bianca was very worried about Olivia falling into the water.
So he immediately stepped forward, picked up Bianca and comforted her, "Sweetheart, don't worry. Your mommy is fine. Come on, tell me, was the scenery on the lake beautiful?"
Rodolfo was quite good at comforting people too, and Bianca's attention was quickly diverted.
Olivia slipped away and hurried off to wash up.
When she came out, Bianca was still in Rodolfo's arms.
"I'm done with my bath, now I can hold you!" She immediately went over to take her, hugging and kissing the little girl repeatedly. "Bianca, smell me. Do I smell nice?"
Bianca felt a bit ticklish from all the nuzzling and shyly nestled in Olivia's arms, saying, "Mommy, you smell really good!"
After calming her daughter down, Olivia finally had time to message Andrew, asking: [Did you put on the medicine?]
Shortly after sending the message, Andrew replied: [Just finished.]
Then he added: [When you have time, could you please teach David how to apply medicine properly?]
Olivia was a bit confused when she saw this second message and asked: [Why?]
Andrew complained: [After he applied the medicine, I felt like I was about to get injured all over again. My wound still stings badly now.]
Olivia couldn't help but laugh after reading his complaint.
How rough had David been?
However, she didn't refuse and immediately replied: [Okay, I'll teach him next time.]
Then she steered the conversation back to the main topic.
She asked Andrew, [Is Bianca's condition okay now? She seemed scared earlier. I'm wondering if it will have any impact on her.]
Andrew patiently told her, [If you're worried, just guide her and ease Bianca's anxiety.
Tell her that sometimes people encounter these kinds of unavoidable situations, but as long as they handle them properly, everything will be fine. Tell her not to be afraid!]
Olivia: [Okay.]
Olivia took his words to heart and immediately did as he suggested, talking to Bianca at length.
By dinner time, Bianca had pretty much understood what Olivia meant and had completely returned to her normal self.
After mother and daughter finished dinner, Olivia took Bianca to play chess with Rodolfo.
Rodolfo was dedicated to teaching Bianca and was very patient.
What surprised Olivia was that Bianca was actually very interested in the seemingly boring game of Go and studied it seriously.
Moreover, she was quite clever and caught on quickly.
The moves Bianca had just seen, she could imitate pretty well afterward.
When Bianca wasn't paying attention, she trapped one of his corners.
Not only was Bianca not upset, she was delighted, clapping her hands and praising, "You're so smart! Even smarter than your mommy was at your age. Bianca, you're a little genius!"
Olivia had gotten used to hearing such comments over the past few months.
Just as she was about to defend herself, her phone suddenly rang.
Olivia put Bianca down and walked aside to answer it.
Surprisingly, the call was from David.
Olivia didn't think much of it and just pressed the answer button.
But then she heard David's anxious voice, "Dr. Garcia, are you free right now? I'm at Mr. McCoy's door. Could you please come with me to check on Mr. Hamilton? Something seems wrong with him!"
Olivia looked confused. "What happened?"
Perhaps it was David's urgent tone, but Olivia's heart also started racing.
Remembering that Andrew's villa was very close by, she stopped asking questions. "Wait for me. I'm coming out now!"
After hanging up, she quickly told Rodolfo and asked him to help watch Bianca.
Rodolfo thought she had some urgent matter and agreed.
Olivia didn't delay and quickly ran out the door.
Outside, David was indeed waiting, and had even brought one of the vehicles available for use within the villa complex.
When he saw Olivia, he looked like he'd seen a lifeline, saying urgently and excitedly, "Dr. Garcia, you're finally here!"
Olivia nodded and immediately asked, "What's going on?"
David's expression was also very worried. He said, "I don't know either. After dinner tonight, Mr. Hamilton went to his study to handle business, but then suddenly something seemed off.
I saw his expression looked somewhat painful. I don't know if it has anything to do with the injury on his back."
With him saying this, Olivia couldn't accurately know the situation and couldn't help but worry too.
But she also felt something was off.
These past few days, Andrew had been using the medicine from her research institute, and his wound was healing quite well.
Even if he'd fallen in the water, it shouldn't have affected him to this degree.
Could it be infected?
But wasn't this speed a bit too fast?
With various doubts in mind, Olivia immediately said to David, "Let's go check on him first."
"Okay!" David didn't dare delay. Seeing that Olivia had fastened her seatbelt, he immediately took her rushing toward Andrew's place.
As soon as they got out of the car, they quickly entered the house and headed straight for the study.
When they arrived, they were surprised to find that the study door was wide open, but Andrew was nowhere to be seen inside.
The guards stationed there were standing anxiously at the door.
"Where is Mr. Hamilton?" David immediately asked them.
The guards quickly answered, "In the bathroom."
David was confused. "What's he doing in the bathroom?"
The guards were also puzzled.
They shook their heads and said, "We don't know either. Mr. Hamilton just came out of the study and rushed straight in to shower."
David's expression was very surprised, and he hurried in to check.
Sure enough!
Andrew hadn't even taken off his clothes and was already under the water.
When David entered, Andrew's expression was one of suppressed pain. He couldn't even hold the showerhead, which fell heavily to the ground.
David was terrified. "Dr. Garcia, come in quickly and see what's wrong!"
He called out anxiously toward the door.
Olivia was also worried. Hearing David's words, she went in without a second thought.
Inside, she saw Andrew's abnormal condition too.
Something was definitely wrong.
The man's face showed an expression of pain, veins slightly visible on his forehead, and his eyes were somewhat bloodshot for some reason.
Olivia was alarmed and quickly stepped forward, turned off the water, and said, "Andrew, how are you?"
As she spoke, she tried to help him out first.
No matter what, his injury couldn't keep soaking in water.
She needed to get him outside before she could treat him.
David's reaction wasn't slow either. He immediately went to find a towel.
What no one expected was that just as they were about to exit, Olivia's shoulder accidentally hit the bathroom door.
The door was about to close from the impact, and she quickly tried to pull it back open.
The consequence of letting go with one hand was that she couldn't support Andrew.
The man's tall frame practically pressed entirely against Olivia.
With a 'bang,' the door closed.
Olivia was pressed against the door, and behind her, the man's body also pressed close, leaving no gap.
Olivia's mind went blank for a moment.
What kind of terrible situation was this?
After her brain caught up, she quickly turned around to try to support Andrew. "Are you okay?"
Andrew was not okay at all right now.
That wave of pain had already left him barely conscious. Olivia's voice made him barely come to his senses.
But when he saw her, an indescribable restlessness in his body made him even more uncomfortable.
His eyes grew deeper and darker, hiding surging undercurrents.
Olivia felt inexplicably alarmed by such a gaze.
For some reason, she suddenly felt the man in front of her was dangerous.
"Andrew?" Her back was pressed tight against the door, her hand against his chest, trying to create some distance between them.
But Andrew seemed to sense her intention. The next second, he grabbed her wrist.
The cool, jade-like delicate touch came through, and Andrew's Adam's apple bobbed.
As if restraining something, he took a rough breath.
He could no longer care about anything else and leaned down.
Olivia didn't have time to react before the man suddenly kissed her.
She was completely shocked, her eyes wide with disbelief and incredulity as she looked at him.
Andrew was kissing her?
Olivia's mind was in a daze.
Several seconds later, she finally snapped out of it.
Olivia instinctively tried to struggle.
But the man didn't give her a chance. He continued pressing toward her, his large palm clasping both her wrists together, lifting and pinning them against the door.
His other hand gripped her chin.
The force wasn't heavy, but the plundering on her lips was unrestrained and domineering, carrying an unstoppable aggressiveness.
Olivia was used to seeing the man's calm, self-controlled, disciplined appearance, but had never seen him lose control like this.
Everything before her eyes left her unable to resist.
She was plundered into retreat, her heartbeat chaotic, her mind turning to mush.
The only bit of consciousness left told her things shouldn't be this way.
And if this continued, something might happen.
As a doctor, she had pretty much realized what was wrong with Andrew.
This person's body temperature was abnormally hot, as if he'd been drugged...
But this was his own home—who would dare do such a thing to him?
Just then, the man's kiss suddenly stopped.
No, it should be said he started moving to other areas. The scorching hot kisses fell on her chin, then on the side of her neck.
Finally landing on her earlobe, as if teasing, he pressed it with his lips.
Olivia's mind jolted, her whole body tingling to the top of her head, her scattered thoughts completely coming back.
She couldn't care about anything else anymore. Taking advantage of the man's inattention, she pulled her hand back and deftly reached for the small pouch she carried with her.
In an instant, a syringe appeared in her hand.
She didn't give Andrew a chance to react and jabbed it into the back of his neck.
The next second, the man seemed to have all his strength drained away and collapsed unconscious.
Olivia quickly reached out to support him, preventing him from falling.
And she herself slid down to the floor with his weight.
