When I opened my eyes the next morning, the ray of bright sunlight penetrating through the gap in the half-open window was what I noticed first. Then it was the immense headache I was feeling that made me raise my hand to my forehead and rub my fingers there, I groaned in pain and noticed that I was lying on a bed in a room I didn't know.
"You are with headache?" I heard Garrett's voice asking me that, so I looked in the direction of the voice and saw him there, getting up from the chair next to the bed and coming towards me.
"Yes, my head hurts a lot." I groaned in pain, and he came over to me with a glass of water and a pill, which I gratefully took.
"You have a hangover, you'll have to drink lots of water and get plenty of rest." He said as I handed him the cup and laid my head back on the pillow. "Now that you're awake, I'm going to order room service." He went to an intercom.
"Are we in a hotel?" I asked, a little confused.
"Yes. I didn't think your friend would like me to sleep at her place with you, and it was too late yesterday to go back to the castle; that's why I took you to this hotel." After answering me, he spoke briefly over the intercom and then walked over to me, covering myself properly with the bedsheet too, so I didn't get cold. My hair must have been really messed up because I always got all disheveled when I woke up, but I didn't feel strong enough to fix it and try to look pretty. "You must be pretty tired from yesterday." He said he was finishing adjusting the blanket over me.
"What really happened yesterday?" I asked, a little curious; I had no idea what I had done the night before to leave me all dead this morning.
"Don't you remember what happened yesterday?" I briefly shook my head and then wanted to hit myself for doing that, because a great pain spread in my head by that sudden movement, I made a face and answered.
"I remember very little, actually." I groaned, remembering me and my friend going to the club. I remembered Bartender Rick and his charming smile; I remembered the loud electronic music in the club and Garrett buying everyone drinks; I also remembered my friend fighting, and I frowned. "It was all a mess...You bought everyone drinks and then got into a fight with the bartender?"
"That idiot friend of yours?" There was a characteristic disdain in his voice when he spoke. "You didn't let me hit him; you dragged me out, and we ended up in the alley."
"How so staying?"
"You really don't remember having sex with me in that alley?" He looked a little unsure when he asked. So when he said it, I widened my eyes as revealing images flashed too quickly in my head. Images of me fighting him in that alley, kissing him, me crouched in front of him with his... in my mouth... God in heaven! I was in shock when all those very revealing images came back to me. I couldn't believe I had been so naughty yesterday. "Now you remember, don't you?!" He said when he saw my reaction, he chuckled, and I wanted to cover myself in embarrassment.
"Let it be clear that I've never done these things, okay? Not even when I'm drinking… my good Jesus!" I was so ashamed of my behavior the night before, the things I had done and said, I didn't even care where we were, I was totally out of my mind.
"Well, if it's any consolation, I loved it." He laughed naughtily, still sitting on the bed next to me, so I groaned and covered myself more with the sheet. "You were wanting so much that I couldn't refuse. Is this consequential to the fact that I miss you?" He tilted his head towards me as he spoke those words, and he brought his hand to my messy hair and stroked it. "Do you want me so much that you're so desperate for me?" His face was now so dangerously close to mine that even his nose was brushing mine. His blue eyes stared into my oh-so-digestive ones. "If you want, I'll do it again. But this time you have to promise you won't forget." He leaned closer, wanting to bring his lips to mine, but I struggled to dodge the kiss.
"No, I'm really embarrassed. What else have I done?" I made that excuse, because I knew that if I let him kiss me, that kiss would never stop. Garrett sighed at the realization and backed away a little.
"Good. When we came, you agreed to walk with me to my car, and I drove to this hotel. But you were extremely naughty yesterday, so we had sex one more time." I gave a grunt, remembering exactly how things had been as he spoke. Garrett was being polite by only glossing over the things I had done the night before; in fact, I had done worse things that I couldn't even describe in my thoughts.
"That must be why my whole body is sore." I groaned and he caressed my face.
"It will pass; I'm here to take care of you." I nodded, and at that moment the bell rang, alerting me that it was room service. Garrett got up and went to the door. He was only wearing long-waisted pants; he wasn't even wearing a shirt or shoes. It was as if he had woken up with no clothes on and was only wearing those pants. I also noticed that I was wearing a black blouse that was too big for me, indicating that the blouse was his, and a pair of lace pants that amazingly weren't the same ones I was wearing the night before. Then I remembered that the hotel Garrett took me to was expensive, and in these hotels, they always gave me an extra underwear kit. Garrett might have taken those pants from the kit and dressed me, but except for the messy hair and some purple spots on my skin (I believed that because of yesterday's sex night, I ended up leaving marks on my fair skin), I looked clean and well-groomed.
He came back with a cart of food that smelled good, and as soon as I caught the smell of food, I realized how hungry I was. I sat on the bed, still covered, and now I wasn't feeling as much of a headache as I was feeling when I woke up. "I figured you'd be hungry as soon as you woke up." He spoke, approaching with the food cart, took a tray and brought it to me, leaving it on the bed right in front of me, and then sat down too. I nodded, smiling gratefully, and started to eat. I was starving.
"Thanks, you nailed it." I said spreading the butter on the bread and eating it, he helped me pour the coffee, season the salad and peel the fruit.
"You're welcome. Eat a lot, you have to eat well to be strong, because after that we have a lot to talk about." He was so serious, I don't know if it was just my impression, but those words seemed so suggestive.
