Chapter 90

Author POV….

Antonio pulled up to Lorenzo's mansion in his black Ferrari. He had been waiting to gather information about Sophia as well as Michael. He was finally going to tell Lorenzo the truth about Michael and Sophia. Lorenzo was devastated after Angelina and now Antonio could understand why because he was involved with her.

Antonio took a deep breath and got out of his car. He walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. A moment later, the door opened and Lorenzo stood there, looking surprised. Lorenzo had asked the maids to leave because he wanted to be alone.

“Antonio,” he said. “What a surprise. What brings you here?”

“I need to talk to you,” Antonio said. “It's important.”

Lorenzo nodded. “Come in.”

Antonio followed Lorenzo into the house. They walked into the living room and sat down on the couch.

“So, what is it?” Lorenzo asked.

Antonio hesitated for a moment. He didn't know how to start.

“It's about Michael,” he finally said.

Lorenzo's eyes narrowed. “What about him?”

“He's been helping Sophia, you wanted to know,” Antonio said.

Lorenzo's face hardened. “What do you mean?”

“He's been helping her with everything,” Antonio said. “He's been giving her money, he's been helping her with her business, he's even been helping her with her personal life.”

Lorenzo stood up. “I don't believe you. Why would Sophia need that asshole? “

“It's true,” Antonio said. “I have proof.”

Antonio reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a file. He handed it to Lorenzo.

Lorenzo opened the file and began to read. His face grew darker and darker as he read.

“I don't understand,” he said finally. “Why would Michael do this?”

“Because he's involved with Sophia physically. He was jealous of you from the start,” Antonio said.

Lorenzo laughed bitterly. “He's in love with her? That's ridiculous.”

“It's not ridiculous,” Antonio said. “He's been obsessed with her for years. He's always been jealous of you.”

Lorenzo shook his head. “I can't believe this.”

“It's true,” Antonio said. “And it's why Angelina left.”

Lorenzo's eyes widened. “What do you mean?”

“Michael told Sophia about Angelina,” Antonio said. “He told her that you were still in love with her and that you were only with Angelina because she was a submissive. They knew everything about you both. So they took advantage of Angelina"

Lorenzo's face turned white. “He didn't.”

“He did,” Antonio said. “And Angelina believed whatever they showed her. She couldn't handle the thought of you being in love with someone else. So she left.”

Lorenzo fell back onto the couch, stunned. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

“I have to talk to her,” he said finally. “I have to explain.”

“You can't,” Antonio said. “She's gone. She moved out of the country.”

Lorenzo stood up and started to pace the room. “I can't believe this,” he said. “I can't believe Michael would stoop so low to destroy me.”

“He's a snake,” Antonio said. “He's always been a snake.”

Lorenzo stopped pacing and turned to Antonio. “What should I do?” he asked.

Antonio hesitated for a moment. “I don't know,” he said. “But I think you need to figure out what you want to do about Michael.”

Lorenzo nodded. “I will. Now I will destroy them”.

He turned away from Antonio and walked to the window. He stared out at the city, his mind lost in thought.

Antonio watched him for a moment, then stood up and walked to the door.

“I'm here for you if you need me,” he said.

Lorenzo didn't respond. He just continued to stare out the window.

Antonio sighed and left the mansion. He closed the door behind him, leaving Lorenzo alone with his thoughts.

Antonio knew that Lorenzo was going to have to decide between Michael. He couldn't let Michael get away with what he had done. But Antonio also knew that it would be a difficult decision. Michael was Lorenzo's rival.

Antonio hoped that Lorenzo would make the right decision. He knew that Lorenzo was a good man, and he didn't deserve to be hurt like this. He helped Antonio when he was on the verge of losing everything.

Lorenzo sat at the bar in his mansion, staring at the bottle of whiskey in front of him. He had been drinking all night, trying to forget about Angelina and his unborn baby.

But it was no use. Angelina's image was burned into his mind. He could still see her face, the tears in her eyes, as she told him she was leaving him.

And the thought of his unborn child made him feel even worse. He would never get to meet his child. He would never be able to hold them in his arms and tell them how much he loved them.

Lorenzo took a swig of whiskey and slammed the glass down on the bar. He was so angry. He was so angry at himself for not telling the truth to Angelina. He was so angry at the world for being so unfair.

Lorenzo stood up and walked over to the window. He looked out at the city below. The lights were twinkling in the distance, but Lorenzo felt no joy. He felt nothing but emptiness and despair.

Lorenzo closed his eyes and thought about Angelina. He remembered the first time he saw her. She was coming down the stairs of her home to meet him, and she had been so nervous. Lorenzo was immediately smitten by her beauty and her innocence.

They started dating soon after Angelina texted him accidentally, and Lorenzo quickly became obsessed with her. Angelina was everything he had ever wanted in a woman. She was smart, funny, beautiful, and kind. Yet, he was ignorant that he was only obsessed with her, not in love.

Lorenzo took a deep breath and turned away from the window. He walked back to the bar and poured himself another glass of whiskey. He knew that he was going to have to find Angelina and his baby because he couldn't afford to lose the only family he had. But he also knew that it was not going to be easy.

Lorenzo took a swig of whiskey and closed his eyes. He thought about his unborn child. He wondered what they would have looked like. He wondered what they would have been like.

Lorenzo knew that he would never get to meet his child. But he also knew that he would always love them.

Lorenzo opened his eyes and finished his drink. He stood up and walked out of the bar. He knew that he had a long road ahead of him, but he was determined to get through it. He was determined to become a better man. He was determined to be the man that Angelina deserved.

Lorenzo walked into his bedroom and lay down on the bed. He closed his eyes and thought about Angelina and his unborn child. He knew that he would never forget them.

Lorenzo took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He drifted off to sleep, dreaming of Angelina and his unborn child.

He called Lincoln and asked him to destroy Michael and everything related to him. With that, he slept, dreaming of his girl and his baby.
