"Where exactly are you taking me?" I asked Brie as I tried to see through the blindfold.

I always woke up every morning to find Lorenzo downstairs, making breakfast with Fiona but he wasn't there and neither was Fiona or Molly. I frowned as I looked around the house searching for them with my phone in my hand, dialing his number but he didn't pick up. Then I bumped into Brie.

"Brie?"

"Oh, hi." He greeted me and I frowned, wanting to know why he was here this early in the morning.

"What are you doing here and where is Lorenzo and Fiona?" I asked with a confused look on my face.

"Oh, Lorenzo took Fiona to a party hosted by Alex. He wanted to wake you up but you were tired so he asked me to help you get dressed when you wake up and bring you to the party." He smiled nervously and I frowned at him, not believing what he just said.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, now let me help you get dressed. Oh my goodness, did you walk downstairs alone? Lorenzo is going to kill me." He said and carefully took me up the stairs again.


Some minutes later

"Are you ready?" He asked and I nodded my head as I stared into the mirror, admiring the dress Lorenzo left for me to wear. The clothes fit my nine month old pregnancy perfectly.

"Okay then, let us go." He said, helping me out of the room and down the stairs.

As we walked outside, there was a car parked at Lorenzo's parking lobby with the driver waiting inside already for us. He quickly came out and immediately he saw us.

"Mrs. Ballmer." He greeted and the turned to Brie and greeted him too.

I sent him a smile, returning his greetings before I entered the car along with Brie. As we drove off, my curious mind wandered off to where exactly we were going. Yes, I didn't believe Brie's story at all. It just doesn't make sense that Lorenzo would leave me to a party so early in the morning and take Fiona without telling me. It just doesn't make sense.

But I didn't say anything, I just looked at the window as we passed trees covered in snow and the wind blew by. The sky is in the shade of blue mixed with gray and the sun is shining behind me the clouds. It is a beautiful morning. It is already winter and snow has begun to fall. Places freezing but today seems to be a not so cold day and I loved it.

I sighed, turning my focus to Brie who was on his phone, texting someone and I frowned when I saw a name similar to Lorenzo's on his phone but I didn't say anything. I kept silent the whole ride but only spoke when he ranted to me about my pregnancy and how I am blessed to have a man like Lorenzo. He didn't stop ranting until we pulled up at a huge building, decorated beautifully from the outside.

"Oh, here we are." He said, putting his phone away before going into his pocket and bringing out a blindfold.

"What is this? What are you doing?" I asked, frowning again and he sighed.

"Look, just trust me okay?"

I hesitated before I sighed, giving in and he tied the blindfold on me covering my eyes.

"Okay, now follow me." He said as he carefully helped me out of the car and started walking to where I can't see.

Suddenly I felt warm which told me that I was inside the building now and he guided me to an elevator which I got to know when I heard the ping sounds when we entered.

The sound of the elevator was heard. He helped me out and we started walking. I can hear the voices of people but I don't know the floor we were on.

"Okay, you can now take off the blindfold." He said and I quickly took it off to see myself standing in a room, decorated beautifully.

It has candles laid on the floor and rose petals in the color of red scattered everywhere on the floor. The lights were also dimmed. I frowned, turning back to Brie who had a smile on his face and that made me even more confused. I opened my mouth to ask what is the meaning of this and why am I here but was interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Natalie?" My eyes widened a little as I whirled around to meet with no other person but the man that I have grown to love.

"Lorenzo? Oh my goodness, why did you leave without telling me? Where are we?" I asked as he was walking towards me.

"Oh, ummh, I.." he began stuttering, making me frown again. He sighed before continuing.

"I wanted to surprise you." My frown disappeared but I was still a little confused about why he wanted to surprise me.

"Natalie?" He called again, taking my hand in his.

"Ever since I have first seen you, I felt a connection. I just knew there was something about you that attracted me to you but I was scared. The feelings were new to me that is why I was scared. You were always stuck in my head every second of the day and I hated that but for some reason I liked it as well. I liked you just stole my heart like the way you did and you also managed to get Fiona like you without any effort even when you we weren't aware of you being her biological mother." I felt a drop of tears roll down my eyes.

"I was confused at the time because I don't know if I liked you or loved you. I was confused about my feelings towards you but I knew you meant something special to me. And when I found that you were Fiona's mother and that made me happy even though I misunderstood you, I knew I couldn't take it seeing you cry. I hate it when you cry, it hurts me but I still hurt anyway but then I had to make it right when I found out the truth." My makeup was already ruined with tears.

"I remember cursing myself and wanting to turn back time to stop myself from hurting you when I already went through a lot. I called myself a jerk, an asshole, a bastard and I deserve it all. I deserve all the hate you had towards me because I messed up but then I made things right again. Thank you for forgiving me, I am grateful to you because if I hadn't, I wouldn't be standing here today, holding your hands and smiling with love and affection at the woman that is carrying our baby." I can see the tears in his eyes too.

"After you had forgiven me, I came to realize that I love you way too much to hurt you again. I want you to stay with me forever and I will always be here for you. I want to be with you, Fiona and our unborn children in the future. I want to wake up every say to your beautiful face, knowing that you are mine and mine to love. I want to cuddle with you every night and wake up in the morning smiling at you sleeping so peacefully. I want us to share memories to come, I want us to be there when Fiona graduates from highschool and enters into the university. I want us to smile, looking at our children playing with each other."

Gosh, he is really making me so emotional right now. I had never thought Lorenzo could be this loving.

"I want you to stay in my life as we grow old together and watch our future children be successful in life. I want to love you forever." He took a deep breath before continuing.

"Never in my life have I ever thought that I would be standing in front of a woman, confessing how much I love her. And I have come to the decision that I want you to stay in my life forever." He paused for a moment.

"And so, Natalie Jackson."

He let go of my hands and went down on one knee and that was when the realization hit me. My eyes widened as I looked down at him and he reached into his pocket and took out a small blue box that had a ring on it.

Then suddenly, footsteps were heard. I looked past him to see Fiona, Celeb, Alex including his parents all holding a carbon in their hand that reads will you marry me?

"So Natalie Jackson, will you marry me and make me the happiest man on earth?" He asked, drawing my attention back to him as he opened the small to reveal a beautiful diamond ring.

I covered my mouth with my hands as tears rolled down my eye, I stared down at the man I loved with all my heart, holding a ring in his hand. I was just left in complete shock and all that could leave my mouth was yes.

"Yes, yes, I will marry you." He breathed before he stood up to his feet and slid the ring into my finger and kissed me.

Cheers and applause were heard as we kissed each other and then pulled away. I hugged him. I thought this was a dream since the thought of getting married has never crossed my mind. I sobbed, wiping my tears away as he wrapped his hand around me and I couldn't be happier.

"Mother! Father!" Fiona shouted as she dropped the cardboard she was holding and ran towards us.

I picked her up, hugged her and placed a kiss on her forehead before placing her down.

"Yes, finally you people are getting married." We both nodded our heads as she jumped in joy and I was happy to see her happy.

I smiled, looking around the room, his parents were chatting with Brie and Caleb while Alex stood at the table filled with food as he began to eat. I really couldn't be any happier, these are the best moments of my life.

But then my smile suddenly dropped when I felt a pain in my stomach. I placed my hand there and Lorenzo noticed right away.

"Are you okay?" He asked and my eyes widened in realization.

"No, I think my water just broke." I said, panicking and heard him cursed under his breath.

"Shit, let's get to the hospital right away."
