"Mom and Dad called us. We got to talk but the line went dead and Hailey can't reach mom." Emerson said.
"Angel do you want to tell Tyron and Emerson why you have been upset the past couple of days?" I asked her.
"I'm not upset," Angel said
"You do know that when you and Rory were sitting outside talking the other day I was hanging my laundry out to dry and I could hear everything you and Rory were talking about?" I asked her.
"Yah but I didn't think you would tell mom and dad." Angel said.
"I didn't but you need to." I told her.
"Angel what is it?" Tyron asked her.
"Everyone gets to start college or university in two weeks, and I have to stay here." Angel said upset.
"Angel, why didn't you say something before now. You may not be able to physically go to collage or university like the others but I'm pretty sure you can do it online we can talk to Uncle Alaska he did all his schooling online he only had to go to the city to write is
Bar exam." Emerson told her.
"It is not the same, even Rory is going to university. All my friends are going. I was dealing with the Robertsons. Last night I was talking to Rory, and she was saying how great school was going to be. It is not fair I can't go. " Angel told Emerson.
"If you will excuse me I'm going to go up and check on the girls. Can you send Collen up when he gets back I have a weird feeling about this, but I could be just worried about your mom being away." I told them as I got up put my cup in the sink and then I went upstairs.

EMMA'S POV
We just finished dinner and were sitting in the living room around the fire. The rain was coming down heavy and hard. I swear there was even some hail. Sable had not said anything else about her birthmark, but I still had questions. None of us were going anywhere so I figured I would see if she could give me some more answers.
"Sable if you have the birthmark does that not mean you should have been a protector?" I asked her.
"Oh, well I was for a while, but the birthmark does not mean you have to be. It is different then being born a silver wolf. I had a choice I was for a few years but something happened, and I decided I would be happier just being a very talented witch." Sable told me.
"I'm sorry something happened. I just assumed because Tyron and Mavis were born of two protectors that it was your destiny to be a protector." I said.
"The Tyron your Emerson is mated to is Mavis Stones brother?" Sable asked trying to act surprised. I had not lost all my abilities. A chill went down my spine.
"Yes, do you know them?" I asked her.
"He is why I left being a protector!" Sable said. I did not want to pry but was there something about Tyron we should know about. Ben had been listening but had not said much that was until now.
"What happened with him that made you leave?" Ben asked her.
"Unrecognizable difference I will just say," Sable said. Ben being Ben could not just leave it at that.
"Were you romantically involved?" Ben asked her.
"Oh, no. But I really liked him. We worked together a lot and I started falling for him being as young as I was it never occurred to me that we were just good friends. No, he never did anything improper or anything. So, when I found out he was seeing another protector it hurt. As I said I was young. I went and confronted him. " Sable told us.
"What did he say?" I asked worried that he was not really what we saw.
"He was shocked at first that I had feelings for him. But he was kind and apologized that he didn't share the same feelings. He thought of me as a good friend and someone who would have his back when we worked together. I was I guess just one of the guys. It hurt my feelings, so I went to the General and resigned. Things worked out for the best. I could not be more Happier working With Stella and her pups." Sable said.
"What happened with him and the woman he was seeing?" Ben asked her.
"It didn't last long; they were always on different missions and Tyron really wanted to not get attached he was waiting for his true mate. I guess he found her. I'm happy for him." Sable told us. No soon had she said that and the rain had stopped. There was a knock at the cabin door. Ben got up to answer it. He came back into the living room with Travis.
"Ms. Emma a pleasure to see you again. Sorry to interrupt you. I was looking for my lady Sable." Travis said.
"I was just having a chat with Emma and Ben here." Sable told him.
"I hope you were not stirring up trouble.!" Travis said to her.
"Of course not. You didn't tell me it was our Tyron who was mated to Emerson." She said to him getting up.
"Sable!" Travis said to her.
"What, we were just talking. Did you know their girls have the birthmark?" Sable asked him, going to stand beside him.
"No, I didn't know that is wonderful news though. If you will excuse us Emma and Ben I would like to take my mate back home I only have a few days left of my holidays." Travis said then snapped his fingers and they were gone. Suddenly Ben's phone rang it was Razer. I let them have their conversation and took the cups to the kitchen to be washed. Funny how the rain had stopped and now the phones were working now that Travis had left with Sable. I put her basket of mushrooms in the fridge. It all had to just be a coincidence. I went to call Hailey and got through right away.
ANGEL'S POV
Mom, Dad and I had a long talk. It made me feel a bit better. We were going to look into me taking courses online. Mom was really surprised when I told her I wanted to write books. But I wanted to get a degree in English and professional editing before I started to write. I had a lot of great ideas one being I wanted to write children's books I was already a pretty good artist. But Dad said I would probably want to take graphic designs too, as much of artwork for books was done on the computer now. We were going to talk to Uncle Alaska about how to get everything set up. I had just had my shower and was trying to decide what I was going to wear to the send off party when Roxie called me.
