"Prepare for hard landing," Travis yelled. We all crouched low pulling Thorn down with us. Two seconds later we it the floor of the dock.
Travis and I helped Thorn up as General Peterson approached us.
"Great job men four hours to spare. King Thorn these two men here will take you to you home. The six of you my office he said. We followed him with out speaking.
"Close the door, he said as we all entered.
Great job men. I forgot to tell you something before you left. Tell me did you leave anything there?" He asked.
"Lance the floor," Travis said.
"Lance stay the rest of you go home do not speak of this. General Peterson said.
"What about Lance,?" I asked.
"He will have to go to a safe house for now.. do not worry Tyron he will be fine." General Peterson said. Then he took Lance through a different door. I walked with Travis.
"Have a good vacation," I told him.
"Tell Emerson and Angel sorry for taking you away." Travis said. We snapped our fingers and I was back in the hallway outside our bedroom door. How long had I been gone I thought. I opened the bedroom door Emerson was crying sitting in a chair. I went right to her.
"My love why are you crying?" I asked her.
It was only then that she noticed I was there.
"Nice of you to come home!" She said
"How long was I gone?" I asked her.
"Two and a half days," she said crying more.
"I'm sorry my love, but you're not just crying because I was gone. That is not you. What has happened?" I asked her. She just cried more. I knelt on the floor and took her in my arms. The bedroom door opened and Angel came in.
"Hi dad should I leave?" She asked.
"No, why is your mom crying?" I asked. Angel started to cry.
"Can one of you tell me why you're crying?" I asked frustrated.
"Nana Emma and Papa Ben their plane crashed." Angel cried.
"Are they.... gone?" I asked tears forming in my eyes.
"The piolets are dead they found Nana and Papa; we talked to Nana but then I was talking to Aunt Helena, and she said Nana has to have surgery. We have not been able to reach anyone since." Angel told me.
"How did the plane crash?" I asked.
"Lightning hit the plane?" Emerson told me.
"How did your parents even survive that?" I asked totally devastated.
"A long time ago Stella and Zeth came to visit Stella's parents and the plane got stuck by lightning and crashed. Everyone got out but Papa Dwayne lost his plane he only had one then. He had them work on making ejection seats for the passengers if the piolet thought no one would survive; he would eject the passengers. It worked." Angel said quickly
"You're going to hyperventilate Angel calm down sweetheart." I told her taking her hand.
"Let me try calling?" I said taking out my phone. Emerson put her hand on my phone.
"You don't have the number; we have to call Alpha Perri." Emerson told me. Emerson got out her phone and called the number it just rang and rang then there was a recording " sorry your call can not be completed at this time.
"Ever since you left we have not been able to call them back." Emerson said starting to cry again.
"There just has to be bad weather over there or across the ocean." I told them. "It was successful, though the time messes me up there I was gone only eight hours. Here it was two and a half days. How are the pups?" I asked her.
"Growing like weeds, I think they will take after you." Emerson laughed.
"I hope not I want them to be as strong and beautiful like you.” I told her.
"I guess we can try calling in couple of hours and see if the lines are working." Emerson said.
"Are there any leftovers, I'm starving," I told her getting up.
"Come on I will make you something to eat." Emerson said and the three of us wen down to the kitchen

EMMA'S POV
Ben and I got to the cottage yesterday I was nice and peaceful. We were enjoying our time alone, but I was worried the girls had not called yet. I didn't want to call and pester them, but it was not like Emerson to say she would call and then not.
"Emma have you tried to call the girls yet?" Ben asked coming in from outside with his phone in his hand.
"No but I was just thinking it was strange they have not called," I told him.
"I just tried to call Razer, and I got a weird message." Ben said sitting down.
"Let me try. Do you want me to call Razer or should I call the girl?" I asked him.
"Call the girls it is more important," he said.
I took out my phone and called Emerson’s number. I rang and rang then I got a recorded message. ' sorry we can not complete your call at this time.'  I hung up. Sounds like the lines are down.” I said.
"Yes it does, but now we know why no one has called they can't get through. Come on we will try again in a bit let's take a walk on the trails and enjoy the nice weather " Ben said.
"Sounds like a great idea," I told him and went and put on the hiking boots Stella instead I needed, now I knew why. We hiked the trail for about an hour when we came across a beautiful waterfall. We had brought a picnic lunch with us. We found a nice level spot and put down the blanket and had our lunch.
"It is beautiful here,” I told Ben as we sat down on the blanket.
"It is, why don't you try calling again?" Ben suggested. I took out my phone and called Emerson it rang three time.
"Mom?" Emerson asked.
"Hi, dad is here too," I told her and put it on speaker.
"Mom are you ok?" Emerson asked upset.
"Yes fine why?" I asked her confused.
"The last time I was able to get through Helena answered and said you were going into surgery. The lines have been down." Emerson told me.
"Your dad and I figured that out today," I told her.
"I'm glad your ok, I guess you’re to busy to talk now," Angel said sounding a bit upset.
"I'm never to busy to talk to you, this is perfect Papa and I are sitting by a waterfall we just had a nice picnic lunch. I don't want to hike back yet so if you don't mind Papa hearing anything then we are good to talk." I told her.
"That is so romantic Nana, I'm glad your starting to enjoy yourself now." Angel said.
"So tell me how things went with your visits," I said laying my head on Ben's legs.
