"Great, granddaughter actually my granddaughter Emerson adopted her when Angel was five." Papa said. Len struggle to his feet.
"Why would you want to save me. After everything I have done? What do you want?" He asked me.
"Len Robertson my heart is pure I was born from the light to give birth with my light, not take a life no matter how much you deserve it for what you did." I told him then I put my hands together and opened then just a bit, so the light surrendered me. Then I closed them again. Len fell to the floor crying. I went back to the room dad was in with Luna Silvia.
"Thank you for the tea and allowing me to get the answers I needed. If you have something to write with, I will give you my number and maybe one day when I'm ready I will come and share with you my life " I said to Luna Silvia bowing my head.
We left on good terms with Alpha Lawrence and Luna Silvia. I even gave her a hug goodbye. They were nice people. I knew when I was ready I would visit and learn about where I had come from. But right now, I could not wait to get home and wrap my arms around mom and cry the tears I had been holding in all day.
"Angel, I want you to know that we are both very proud of you and how well you handle yourself," Papa Dwayne said.
"Thank you Papa and dad. And Papa thank you for not taking his life." I told them.
"Angel I do have a question, though if that is ok?" Papa asked.
"What would you like to know?" I asked him.
"Why did you show Len your light? What did it do to him? Papa asked.
"You did what?" Dad asked a bit upset.
"I released a small amount of my light. Len need to see there was good in this world. Showing him my light he could feel I forgave him for what he did. His actions would not weigh heavy in my heart." I told them.
"Angel you are wiser beyond you nineteen years." Papa said.  The rest of the ride home was quiet. When we got there mom was waiting on the porch. I ran from the car into the safety of her arms. Her love surrounded me. I knew that there was no need to cry. I was home and protected from the darkness of others.

EMERSON'S POV
Once Angel was settled and finally released me. She asked if she could go to the nursery and talk to her sisters. I told her I would have dinner ready in an hour. I wondered if she was going to really talk to Hailey. But that was ok who ever she wanted to talk with was ok by me as long as she talked about it. Tyron and I went for a short walk, and he told me everything that had happened I was so proud of Angel. When we got back to the house Tyron helped me put out dinner. Then Angel came down with Hailey. Hailey was going to spend some time with Conner she would be back in the morning. We sat and had a nice dinner together. Angel did not bring up her visit with Len Robertson.  After dinner we went and watched a chick flick because Tyron was out voted. Tomorrow we would be going to see Trisha Robinson and her sister Brenda. When we went to bed I laid awake worrying that she was going to find away to take Angel from us. I don't know what time I fell asleep, but I woke up even more tired. We had a three-hour drive ahead of us.  I might catch a nap but maybe not. Tyron decided after yesterday he would be our driver.
"Angel if we are going we should hit the road," I called up the stairs to her.
"I'm coming mom, tell me again why we can't take our Harleys?" Angel asked coming down the stairs.
"It is not appropriate, are you trying to scare the woman," mom asked.
"Maybe she will not want to claim me and be all mothering to me. I have a mom I don't need two." She told me.
"You're going to have to understand she is going to be very emotional and want to hug you a lot," I told her. I would have to stand back and let them have their time. I know Angel keeps say I'm the only mom she needs but she has not come face to face with her yet. I'm not afraid of losing Angel but I'm afraid she will not give Trisha Robinson a chance because she thinks she would be hurting me. Last night when I woke Tyron up for the third time we had a good talk and now I no long felt like Trisha Robinson could ever take Angel from my life and I could accept that she could become part of Angels life after today and I would be ok with that.
"Emerson now your stalling" Tyron said.
"No, just making sure we have everything, love." I told him as I picked up the picnic basket that had our drinks and snacks for the ride to and from the pack.
"See I almost forgot your thermos of coffee and you would have been a grouchy driver, " I said passing him his thermos. I picked up my travel mug of tea and he grabbed Angels.
As Tyron drove I tried to talk to Angel, but she ignored me and kept playing her game.
"Angel your mother is talking to you!" Tyron told her sternly.
"I know sorry mom I don't want to talk about it right now. I'm scared of what is going to happen after yesterday. " Angel told me not looking up from her game.
 "Angel put that down for a moment please, I want to talk to you for a couple if minutes we will be there in about Half an hour." I said. Angel put her phone down and waited for me to talk.
"Today will not be like yesterday. Trisha will want to hug you a lot. You have to remember Len took you away from her and told her you were dead. Also, you do not have your brown hair anymore so she may think you are not her daughter. Papa ran a paternity test fir her to see you really are. You have to be prepared for either reaction. I'm asking that you don't get upset with her. Deal with this calmy. Remember she was a victim too." I told her.
"Mom, I don't want her to think she can just step into my life and be my mother. You're my mom , my safety net. No one can replace you." Angel said smiling at me.
