Chapter 63: Healing Wounds

The sun hung low on the horizon, casting a warm golden glow over the Moonlit territory as Enora, Adam, Lucas, and Sebastian stood side by side, their hearts heavy with grief as they paid their final respects to the wolves who had lost their lives in the attack. The air was thick with sorrow, the weight of their loss palpable as they stood in silence, each lost in their own thoughts and memories of those they had lost. Enora’s eyes were dry but heavy with unshed tears as she stared at the row of freshly dug graves, her heart aching with the pain of their absence. She felt a hand gently squeeze her shoulder, and she glanced over to see Adam standing beside her, his expression somber but supportive.

“It’s okay to grieve, Enora.”, Adam said softly, his voice gently as he offered her a small smile. “We’ve lost family, it’s natural to feel sad.”

“I should have been able to protect them.”, Enora murmured, her voice barely above a whisper. “If I had gotten to them faster…”

Adam shook his head, his expression filled with empathy as he reached out to gently brush a stray lock of hair from Enora’s face. “You did everything you could, Enora.”, he said firmly, his voice unwavering. “No one could have predicted what happened. You can’t blame yourself for things that were beyond your control.”

Enora wanted to believe Adam’s words, to let go of the burden of guilt that threatened to consume her, but it was easier said than done. The weight of responsibility sat heavy on her shoulder, the knowledge that she was the Luna of the pack weighing her down with expectations and obligations. “I know.”, Enora murmured, her voice heavy with resignation. “But it still hurts.”

Adam nodded in understanding, his hand still resting gently on Enora’s shoulder as they stood together in silence, each lost in their own thoughts and memories. It was moments like these that reminded them of the fragility of life, the preciousness of every moment they shared with their loved ones.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the graves, Enora felt a sense of closure wash over her. The funeral may have been a somber occasion, but it had also been a chance to honor the lives of those they had lost, to come together as a pack and mourn their passing.

As they made their way back to the mansion, Enora couldn’t help but notice the tension that lingered between her and Sebastian, the unspoken words that hung heavy in the air between them. She knew that they needed to talk, to address the issues that had driven a wedge between them, but she couldn’t bring herself to face him just yet.

Enora felt exhausted, not so much physically, but mentally. The weight of the past few days had taken its toll on her, and all she wanted was to let go of her stress and find some semblance of peace. “I want to be alone for a bit, to let go.”, she said to Lucas.

“Are you sure that’s what you need?”, Lucas asked her, while making a very obvious wink to her. Enora grinned, happy to laugh a bit again.

“I think so?”, she said, sounding uncertain, while she walked to their bedroom.

Lucas didn’t say anything else, but a wicked grin formed on his lips, and he looked up at Adam and Sebastian. Just when he realized that Enora was angry at Sebastian, his grin disappeared, and a scowl graced his lips.

Sebastian watched Enora go, his heart heavy with regret as he realized the extent of the damage that had been done to their relationship. Adam clasped his hand on Sebastian’s shoulder. “Let her cool off. She has had some heavy weeks.”, Adam said.

Sebastian nodded. “I know.”, he sounded defeated. “I’m going to the office. You guys have fun together.”

Sebastian turned away, his footsteps heavy with a sense of defeat as he made his way to the office. He knew he needed to focus on work, but his mind was consumed with thoughts of Enora and the rift that had formed between them.

Arriving at the office, Sebastian sank into his chair, his mind racing as he pulled up his contacts list. He scrolled through the names, searching for someone who could help them in their time of need. As he scanned the list, memories flooded back to him, reminders of the life he had left behind when he became Alpha of the Moonlit pack. His eyes fell on a familiar name, and he felt a surge of hope wash over him. Dr. Marcus Reynolds. Marcus had always been passionate about helping others, and since he had a medical degree, he would be a perfect candidate. With a sense of determination, Sebastian reached for his phone and dialed Marcus’ number.

The phone rang once, twice, before Marcus’ voice came down the line. “Sebastian? Is that you?”

Sebastian felt a rush of relief flood through him at the sound of Marcus’ voice. “Marcus, it’s been too long.”, he said warmly. “I hope I’m not catching you at a bad time.”

Marcus chuckled on the other end of the line. “Never too busy for an old friend.”, he replied. “What can I do for you?”

Sebastian wasted no time in explaining the situation to Marcus, outlining the recent events that had unfolded in the Moonlit pack and the urgent need for medical support. As he spoke, he could hear the concern in Marcus’ voice, the genuine desire to help his fellow werewolves.

“I didn’t want to come for Seth, but I’d be honored to join with you as the Alpha.”, Marcus said sincerely. “Mom would be happy to have me close.”

Sebastian chuckled. “Grace would love it.”

Sebastian felt a surge of gratitude wash over him at Marcus’ words, relief flooding through him as he realized that help was on the way. “Thank you, Marcus.”, he said sincerely. “You have no idea.”

Marcus waved off Sebastian’s thanks with a chuckle. “Don’t mention it.”, he said warmly. “I’ll make arrangements to travel as soon as possible. In the meantime, take care of yourself and your pack.”

Meanwhile, back in their bedroom, Enora stood in the soft glow of the lamplight. The door swung open, and Adam and Lucas entered. She could feel her pulse quicken as they approached her, their movements slow and deliberate as they closed the distance between them. Adam searched her eyes for a moment, his expression serious as he assessed her.

“Undress for us, Enora.”, Adam commanded, his voice low and husky with desire. “Kneel in front of us and show us how much you want us.”

Enora’s breath caught in her throat at Adam’s words, her pulse quickening. She looked at them both, and cursed herself because she should have known that something like this would happen. It was after all Lucas’ way of getting rid of stress. Maybe it would work for her as well.

Hesitantly, Enora began to unbutton her shirt. With each button she undid, she could feel the heat of their gazes on her, their desire burning bright in the air between them. When she finally slipped out of her shirt and let it fall to the floor, she stood before them in nothing but her bra and panties, her skin flushed with arousal as she met their hungry gazes. “Good girl.”, Adam murmured, his voice a soft whisper in the quiet of the room. “No show us how much you want this.”

With a sense of purpose, she reached for the waistband of her panties and began to slide them down her legs, exposing herself to them completely. She could feel the heat of their gazes on her, their hunger palpable in the air as she bared herself to them.

When she was finally naked before them, Enora felt a sense of freedom wash over her, a feeling of liberation unlike anything she had ever experienced before. She met their gazes with confidence, her eyes sparkling with desire as she waited for them to make their move. With a small smile, she sank to her knees, her movements fluid and graceful as she lowered herself before them.

As she knelt before them, Enora could feel the weight of their desire pressing down on her, the intensity of their longing filling the air around her. She closed her eyes and let herself surrender to the moment, allowing herself to be consumed by the passion that burned between them.

“Good girl.”, Adam murmured, his voice a soft whisper in the quiet of the room. “No show us how much you want this.”
