Ariana’s POV

"Silver," I whispered softly, my voice trembling with urgency. "I need your help. Lucas is in danger, and I don't know how to save him. Please, guide me."

For a moment, there was silence, and I feared that my plea had gone unanswered. But then, a deep and resonant voice echoed in my mind, filled with a sense of purpose.

"Ariana," the voice said, "I have been waiting for this moment. I am ready to take control and show them our true power."

I gasped as I realized that the wolf within me, Silver, was responding to my call. It was eager to help, to take control of my body and use its power to save Lucas.

I hesitated for only a moment, understanding the risks involved. But there was no other choice. "Alright, Silver," I said, my voice filled with determination. "Take control. Help Lucas."

As I surrendered control to my wolf, I felt a surge of power unlike anything I had ever experienced before. My blood seemed to boil in my veins, and a searing pain shot through my forehead. When I opened my eyes, I saw a moon-shaped mark glowing brightly on my skin.

With a triumphant howl, Silver took control of my body. I watched in awe as she moved with grace and purpose, her every movement filled with power and intent. She lunged at the infected wolf people, her silver fur gleaming in the moonlight, and with a single touch, he reached into their minds and hearts.

The transformation was instantaneous. The wolf people who had lost their sanity froze in their tracks, their frenzied attacks coming to a sudden halt. Confusion and fear replaced the madness in their eyes as they regained consciousness.

Tears of relief welled up in my eyes as I witnessed the miraculous change. Silver's power was beyond anything I could have imagined, and she used it to heal and restore our clan members.

I had always known that the bond between a Silver Moon Wolf and their human counterpart was strong, but I had never realized the extent of their power.

Then, I turned my gaze towards Lucas's battle. He had completely lost his sanity, consumed by anger and a thirst for blood. He brutally bit through any black wolves that tried to get close to him. Even Rennes showed a rare expression of fear. Lucas, he's getting worse.

“Lucas, Stop!”

Suddenly, there was a flash of movement in the distance, and I saw Seraphina's signal flare light up the night sky. A brilliant crimson glow pierced through the darkness, casting an eerie light over the battlefield. It was a beacon of hope in our darkest hour.

The Black Moon Clan's wolf people hesitated for a moment, their attention drawn to the signal. It was the distraction we needed. Lucas took advantage of the confusion and landed a decisive blow on Rennes, forcing him to retreat.

I watched in stunned horror as Lucas, in his fearsome red wolf form, went berserk. His eyes were a fiery crimson, and his every movement was a blur of wild aggression. It was as though he had become a force of pure instinct and fury.

My heart pounded in my chest as I realized that he was charging straight at Rennes. Rennes, in his sleek black wolf form, tried to retreat, but Lucas's excitement was palpable, as if he had been waiting for this moment for a long time. It was a terrifying transformation, and I screamed out Lucas's name, my voice filled with fear and desperation.

"Lucas! Stop!" I cried, but it was as if he couldn't hear me. His focus was entirely on Rennes, and nothing else seemed to matter.

The red wolf lunged at the black wolf with lightning speed, jaws opened wide, and with a savage ferocity, he aimed for Rennes's neck. There was a sickening tearing sound, and I gasped, unable to tear my eyes away from the gruesome scene unfolding before me.

In an instant, the black wolf's head was severed from its body, blood spraying in all directions. My hands flew to my mouth, my eyes wide with shock and horror. The battlefield fell silent as the black wolves stared in disbelief at the gruesome sight.

The red wolf, having completed its violent act, howled to the sky. The sound echoed through the forest, chilling the hearts of all who heard it. The black wolves dared not move, keeping their distance from the bloodthirsty creature that had just decapitated their leader.

But at that moment, I knew that the red wolf was not Lucas. It was something far more primal and terrifying. I remembered Lucas talking about his sealed wolf, the dark and uncontrollable power that threatened to overtake his sanity. This was it, and I was terrified of what he had become.

Despite my fear, I couldn't just stand by and watch as Lucas, or the entity that had taken over him, wreaked havoc. With trembling legs, I approached cautiously, my heart pounding in my chest. I called his name over and over, my voice filled with desperation.

"Lucas, it's me, Ariana," I said, my voice trembling. "You need to come back to us. Please, Lucas!"

For a moment, it seemed as though my words were falling on deaf ears. The red wolf continued to pace back and forth, its crimson eyes filled with madness. But then, as if in response to my pleas, the violence began to subside. The red wolf's movements became less frenetic, and it gradually lowered its head.

I took a hesitant step closer, my heart aching for the man I loved, lost within the beast before me. I continued to call his name, my voice soft and soothing.

"Lucas, it's okay," I said, tears streaming down my face. "You're stronger than this. Please, come back to me."

Slowly, almost imperceptibly, the red wolf's posture began to change. Its muscles relaxed, and its eyes lost some of their wildness. I could hardly believe what I was seeing. It was as if the entity that had taken over Lucas was gradually releasing its grip.

With utmost care, I approached even closer, until I was standing right in front of the red wolf. I reached out a trembling hand and gently placed it on its fur, feeling the warmth and power beneath my touch. I knew I was taking a tremendous risk, but I couldn't bear to see Lucas lost forever.

"Lucas," I whispered, my voice filled with love and tenderness. "I know you're in there. Please, come back to me. We need you."

As I continued to stroke the red wolf's fur, I saw a glimmer of recognition in its eyes. It was as if a tiny spark of sanity had ignited within the darkness. I held my breath, praying that Lucas was still there, somewhere deep inside.

And then, with a shuddering sigh, the red wolf's form began to shift and change. Its fur darkened, and its eyes returned to their familiar brown hue. The wildness faded from its gaze, and the savage intensity in its movements waned.

I watched in awe and relief as the red wolf's transformation reversed, until finally, standing before me, was Lucas, his human form once again. His breathing was ragged, and he looked disoriented and exhausted, but he was himself.

I rushed to his side, tears of relief streaming down my face. "Lucas," I said, my voice filled with love and gratitude. "You're back. You're safe."

He blinked up at me, his eyes filled with confusion and remorse. "Ariana... what happened?"

I gently cupped his face in my hands, my heart overflowing with emotion. "You were taken over by the sealed power of the Red Wolf," I explained. "But you fought your way back. You're stronger than that darkness, Lucas."

He nodded slowly, as if piecing together the fragments of his shattered memory. "I... I remember flashes, Ariana. It was like being trapped in a nightmare."

I wrapped my arms around him, holding him close. "It's over now," I whispered. "We're together, and we'll face whatever comes next, as long as we're together."
