Chapter 37 Her memory back

“There isn't any way mom. Just help me to wake her up but be careful not to hurt her. Kuya Axiel will be mad at us, okay.” Joanine answered and suggest. Even she is a doctor, she can't just do some measures that will be a risk to her nor not recommended to do. Her license was in line too.

They try hard just to wake her up and they do it. They succeed but not so good as they expected. Lyn opens her eyes that are full of tears. She breathes rapidly out of her lungs with her wet clothes of her. Bedsheets, blanket and the pillow are wet too because of her mixed tears and sweat.

Lyn is like a newly born chick away from its mother. A poor one. Lyn stares blankly at the front when Joanine helps her to sit and lean her back at the headboard of the bed. Shockness and fear is written on her face.

“Are you okay ate Lyn? Are you hurt? Is there any part of your body that hurts? Do you need water?” Joanine ask with a calm and sweet voice but hiding her fear and panic. It will worsen the situation if the patient sees someone having panic or something.

“Loraine” a single word come out to her small mouth. Her voice is very rapsy and her throat is very dry.

“Fernando, honey, get her some water please,” Kyla tell to his husband, that he do right away.

“Baby, are you okay?” Axiel sit beside her and hold her hands before hugging her.

“Here is the water. Make her drink first.” Fernando gave the cup of water to Axiel, for him to let Lyn slowly drink it.

“Owww..... drink some water baby. You need it.” Axiel carefully takes the cup to her lips. Lyn stares at him when the glass touches her lips. Weighing if he knows him. Without a word, she drunk the water. Gulping it all down in one shot. She's indeed thirsty.

The room filled with silence, all eyes and ears are open and alert waiting for Lyn to say or do something. They are aware for some bad result of waking her up. It is good if she talks as soon as possible that having this silent treatment. It gives them no clue of what she is thinking.

“Babe...... Axiel” another two words has been said. She gaze at Axiel and lift her hands to touch his face. Feeling his smooth skin. Axiel takes that opportunity to wipe her tears.

“Yes its me baby. Your little boyfriend before and you're my little girlfriend.” Axiel talk to her with a soft voice to lullaby her. Axiel got a hint on what is going on by those two words she just said. He just need to confirm it.

“Kuya Axiel, she need to rest for now. Did she have a favorite stuff toy here? She need some beside her for a good sleep.” Joanne prescribe and ask as well. Lyn must go back to sleep after the long journey of her nightmare to get some energy for the next day.

“She have a lot of human size teddy bear here the room beside this room but she love the panda one the most. It is also in the next room. You can get it, please.” Axiel respond to his sister. Joanine is right, Lyn need rest for now. Maybe they will just ask it later. When she wake up again tomorrow.

“I will get it kuya.” Naomi suggests and leave the room.

“Get her for a while kuya. I just going to change the sheets. Its all wet.” Joanine is concern that Lyn will get sick if she sleeps again on the wet bedsheets.

“I will just change her clothes too son. You and your father must go out first.” Kyla helps too.

The two agreed and go out. Lyn is out of danger now so no need to worry.

“Is she always having nightmare?” Fernando ask when they walk out the room. He is also concern about Lyn. She will be her daughter-in-law soon.

Axiel answered respectfully, “No. Just this one.”

“You must bring her to doctors for a check-up. We need to know what is the reason why she is like that. It is okay to be early than to be the late son.” Fernando recommend to his son.

‘Yes, they need to know the reason.’

‘Lyn need to be checked by a doctor.’

‘It will be good to her.’

“Why are you here kuya and dad?” Naomi ask when she came out in the next door. She is carrying the human size panda for Lyn.

Axiel respond in a bord tone, “They are changing her clothes and the sheets.”

“My kuya cried hahahahaha. A cold person cry this time. A good achievement kuya. I'm proud of you." Naomi tease him. She want to make fun of him now that Lyn make her a soft person. This kj member of the family must be bully sometimes to tease him.

“Stop it Naomi. Your annoying.” he roll his eyes to her. He's pissed off by this little sister of him. He want to hit her hard. As if could if his father sis here. Naomi is lucky write now. He need to control himself on hurting this little creature. If not she is crying right now.

“Tsk. Your always the same kuya. KJ” she fight back setting aside that their father is with them.

“Stop you two. Can you? You're not a child anymore, okay. Behave yourself” Fernando scold them. Naomi pull out her tongue and make a crazy facial expression to tease Axiel more.

“I said stop. Naomi your grounded for one week. No car and credit card for one week. Behave yourself or I will take back your apartment too. And you Axiel.....”

“And me dad?” Axiel smirk while his attention is in Naomi whose stamping her foot in the floor while pouting. He know how to take back his father's punishment to him but cutting him while talking.

“Uhmmmm nothing. Forget it.” Fernando didn't continue punishing him. His only son know him so well. He tricked him.

“But. Why he didn't have punishment. Your unfair dad.” Naomi uproar. His father is unfair. He's on Axiel's side always.

‘So you leave mo no choice dad.’ she want to laugh on what he thought. It is pay back time. She get in, in the room where her mother was in.

“Mom, dad bullied me.” she complain on her mother with a teary eyes.

“Why dear?” Kyla ask her daughter. She didn't want her be bullied by her husband. She knew that Fernando favor Axiel the most so she need to take the side of her daughters. Protecting them.

“Dad punished me but he didn't punished Axiel. It's unfair mom.” Naomi explain. If her father is with Axiel, they have their mom too. Fernando is under to his wife anyway.

“Okay dear. Mom will solved it for you. Mom is in your side dear.” Kyla ease her feelings. A mama's daughter.

“I love you mom.” she happily hug her mom. Naomi finally have what she planned to revenge on her dad. Now, she win and her father will face her mums anger later hahaha.

“Are you done mom?” Axiel ask from outside. He really can't wait. Impatient man as always.

“Done son. You can come in now.” She replied. Lyn is now wearing a pink cotton sleep wear. Laying on the new bedsheets and tuck in on new blanket. Sleeping soundly. Peacefully resting like nothing happened.

“Is everything alright sis?” once and for all, he respect his sisters. Ask them without using his cold voice but a worried one. It feels better than his cold aura around him. They thought. Even his parents can't control him sometimes.

“Yeah. Your lovey doves is fine. No need to worry. Sleep beside her to watch her but be alert when she woke up again. Just call me if something bad happened. Good night kuya.” Joanine explains. She feels sleepy and need to go back to sleep.

“Okay. Thank you sis and all of you guys. Let's go back to sleep. I will just call you again if she woke up again.” Axiel feels tired too. He want to sleep beside his baby and hug her forever.

“Everything will be fine son. Just be with her. Good night.” his family leave the room and close the door slowly. So much comfort was with him tonight and he feels the love of his family to him and Lyn. He doesn't need anything, just his girl and family. It's perfect planned for him. He's so lucky among anyone.

Everything was so perfect and on line. Being granted on their wishes was incredible. No one expect that Axiel, a non-perfect guy has a lot of angels around him. Willing to sacrifice their life for him. Just make him a better and deserving person. World can change by a good changer around.

He lay and hug her. Forgetting what just happened and think positively for the good. Setting aside the bad one's and give the positive come in.

Morning came in a sunny weather. The sun light pass through the window that hits Lyn's face. Waking her up. Her body feels bad. She's feeling little dizzy. She can tell that ‘her memory is back’. She finally remember everything she lose. She finally find her whole. The part of her that doesn't complete her before but now she find it.

Tears start flowing to her eyes. Curling her body and silently sob. Regretting to forget this guy beside her. Her little boyfriend before that loves her until now. She's sad and guilty but what she can do? It's nothing. She didn't want to have that accident too but it happen to her. Its her faith and no one could stop it.

“Good morning baby.” Axiel greet her and hug her tightly. His voice is drowsy telling that he didn't have a good sleep.

‘Its her fault.’

‘She cause him a lot.’

‘She didn't deserve him.’

“Hey, why are you crying baby? Are you hurt? Are you not feeling well?” Axiel panic seeing her crying. It traumatized him. He sat at the bed to wipe her tears.

“Shhhhhhh..... Its okay baby. Everything will gonna be alright.” he comfort her. Saying those words relieve her a little. How thoughtful he is to her.

“Sorry” Lyn apologize for everything. She cause him a lot of trouble.

“Shhhhhh.... no need to say sorry baby. I know you doesn't like it too. Stop thinking those nonsense regret of yours. The important is you in me now. That's all I want and wish for.” he said meticulously. Stop her for think too hard. It is not good at her mentally and emotionally.

Lyn face him and give him a tight hug. She want to assure him that he love him very much. More than herself.

“I love you baby” Lyn kiss him. She has the intention now. Letting herself do what it want, not to control herself to him. If Axiel ask her to marry him now, she will probably say ‘yes’ without thinking twice.

Chapter 38 Making fun of them is incredible

“Good morning guys” Lyn enthusiastically greet them with a loud voice. She wants to start the day positively. Now that she remembers everything. Her voice shocks them. Like what the heck. Are they dreaming? Mouths were open and the body froze.

Lyn thought, ‘Are they playing stop dance?’

“Close your mouth guys. Mosquitoes will enter your mouth. Pfffftt” Axiel can hold back his laugh because of their reaction. Making fun of them is incredible. Just got his revenge on their behavior last night. But no offense.

“Am I dreaming mom? Dad? The heartless and cold guy we know is now joking around? What a miracle.” Joanine surprised said. It's hard to adapt to new happening.

“Am I not allowed to be happy?” he changed his expression quickly. He is hard to offend. No one has the guts even his family but not too much. His mind is mature enough as an adult.

“You are not but wow, you laugh once in a blue moon Kuya. Do you something?” Naomi’s tone was full of amazement. They knew that Axiel is just before, an cold and vicious guy they know but he surprise them with his actions now.

“Is he a bad guy before?” Lyn asks out of curiosity. She isn't beside him in those six years. She didn't know what happened when she is not on his side.

“Ummm... let's just say, he didn't live happy by those years you're not beside him ate Lyn,” Joanine responds while recalling those horrible memories Axiel has being practical to say the truth to Lyn. She needs to know about everything.

“Is that true baby?” Lyn asks facing him with teary eyes. Starting to blame herself again if it's true.

Axiel senses her emotion so he responds to her using a sweet voice and full of assurance, “Yes baby but don't worry. It's not your fault. I'm one to blame for my behavior baby. It doesn't matter now because you're with me. So please don't blame yourself again. I didn't want it and it will make me crazy. Please, baby.”

He pleads for the good. For Lyn to stop blaming herself for the fault that she didn't do. It's all fault of Loraine, not her. She is innocent to all of it and a victim too.

“But-”

“No more buts baby. Do you want me to be like that again?” Axiel cut her and treat her.

“No, I didn't want to,” Lyn said and shake her head back and forth. She doesn't want it anymore. She's willing to be on his side and make him happy. Willing to pay those years that she is not with him.

Axiel hug her and said lovely, “That’s my baby. I love you.”

“I love you too,” Lyn responds and kisses him on the lips.

“Hey stop that love bird. We are still here guys.” Naomi interrupted them. So clingy and sweet. She envies them.

Being single while watching them is very hurtful to the eyes.

You can call them on any term that suits them but they all describe them. Destined to each other that all dream off.

“Are you feeling good ate Lyn?” Joanine asks when they are in the dining area. Having their breakfast as a whole family. So beautiful in the eyes to see. She misses her family now. She hopes to visit them one of these days.

“I’m fine sissy Joan. Thank you guys for taking care of me last night. I appreciate it.” Lyn calls her by what she called Joanine before. Sissy Joan for Joanine and sissy Omi for Naomi.

“Owww.... are your memory back? You just call me sissy right?” Joanine's eyes become big as owls' eyes. Shocked is written on her face even the others.

“Yes. I already remember everything last night. I'm thankful about it because I already find my half, my memories.” Lyn respond. She didn't want to hind or act. They deserve to know the truth too.

“Ohhh my goshhhh. Ate Lynnnnn.” Naomi and Joanine jump out of their sits and come near Lyn for a tight hug. They miss her so much.

“That’s enough. Lyn has a class today and they have an important activity to do with her groupmates.” Axiel interrupted them. It's already seven-thirty in the morning and the class of Lyn will start at eight-thirty. One hour left and they are still eating now. Lyn needs to take a bath and prepare as well.

“Just ask Lance about what I'm talking about. Finish your meal baby. You need to prepare for school.” Axiel added. He knew that his sisters will ask him about the act so he said that.

“Mommy, are you staying here for a long time?” Lyn asks because she misses them too.

“Yes, dear. Just finish your meal and be ready for school. Let's just continue to bond this afternoon.” Kyla said with a sweet voice. They planned to stay here in two months for a vacation before going back.

Breakfast is finished silently after their talk. No one dares to talk and finish their meal. Lyn takes a bath in the bathroom in their room while Axiel uses the bathroom at the next door.

Axiel drives her to school before going to his company. His employees greet him but he just nodded to them. There's a lot of paper works in his table. Waiting for him to be signed or rejected. He let out a sigh before ordering his secretary to make tea for him through the intercom.

His phone ring as he sits on his swivel chair. He gets his phone and sees who is the caller.

He said, “Owww”

‘Daddy Mateo’

‘Is there anything that happened to them?’

‘Why is he calling him?’

‘What's the matter?’

“Hello, dad. Good morning,” he responds happily. Yes, he called Mateo ‘dad’ as it says to him. Mateo is the father of Lyn and has a wife which is Mary, the mother of Lyn. They live in a province where he meet Lyn before, six years ago.

“Good morning to son. How are you doing?” Mateo greets and asks. They treat him as their son too because Lyn is their only daughter. They love her and are willing to do everything for her.

“I’m fine dad. I hope you too and mom.” Axiel faces the glass wall, watching other buildings in front of him while talking to the father of Lyn.

“We are fine too son.” Mary was the one who respond. They might together. It's good for them to talk about things.

“That’s good mom and dad. By the way, why did you call me?” he ask again. Not to rush them but he needs to finish and finalize those papers to fetch Lyn before their class end.

“Is our daughter okay there? Someone tells us that she's studying at your university. Is that true? Did she remember you?” Mary asks out of curiosity. She wants to know about those things. She is worried about her daughter. Lyn suffered enough before and just please not until now. Lyn is the only daughter they have.

“Lyn is okay here at my house and even in the university mom. About her memory, yes, she already remembers my mom. She have a nightmare last night and this morning, she says that she already all her forgotten memory.” he answered casually with respect. They will become his in-laws when Lyn and he got married.

“That’s good to her son. Can we visit our child there? We miss her so much.” May begged. As a mother, she wants to take care of her child even he or she was away from her. Even fathers too. Their kid's safety is the priority.

“Of course, you can mom. My parents are here too and even my siblings, mom. I will let my chopper fetch you today so you have bonded with my family.” he's please about what they say. Lyn's parents and his family are in a mansion together, which is wonderful. Specifically that Lyn has her memories now, he can't for the day to end. He misses Lyn so much

“Thank you, son. We will gonna hung up so we can pack our things already. Bye son.” Ronald ended the conversation. He thought that his father-in-law will not talk to him either.

He replied, “Okay dad. Just wait for the chopper to fetch you. Bye.” he ended the call first. The parents of Lyn didn't want when they are the first to end a call so he did that. Not a disrespect but a favor.

“Let my chopper fetch Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez and bring them to the mansion,” Axiel calls Lance and gives an order before ending the call immediately without hearing Lance answer.

He starts scanning those papers when someone knocks.

He said in his usual office voice, “Come in”

The door opens and it comes in his secretary holding a cup of tea.

“Here is your tea Master. Sorry for the delay because there's a problem with the pantry. But don't worry sir, it's all fixed by now.” Erika put down the tea at his table carefully.

“Is that all Master?” she added.

“Yes. You can go back to your work,” he answered without gazing at her. So focus on his work.

Erika nodded before bowing and leaving. She minds her business and does her work appropriately. Files must go through her before her boss. She needs to scan it first before giving It to Axiel.

Timepass so fast and it's already four in the afternoon. Time to fetch the lady of Axiel, th, e one and only Lyn. The future Mrs. Monteverde. Plan is going into planning.

“Papers are in my table, Mrs. Erika. Get them and bring to their respective branches. I need to fetch Lyn. Her parents are already at the mansion.” Axiel said when he come out of the office. Handsome and charming as always.

She just answered him respectively, “Yes Master. Drive safely.”

“You must go home too. Your family is waiting for you.” Axiel is concerned about his employees too. He is strict but kind-hearted.

“Go the first Master. I'll just gonna finish this last report, Sir. It is needed tomorrow.” she smiled at him. Saying it's okay for her to extend her time here at the office just to finish this important document.

“Okay, your choice Mrs. Erika. See you tomorrow.” he ended the conversation not to take it long. His baby is waiting for him.

“Same to you Sir,” Erika responds to her boss.

Axiel strolled to the elevator wearing his cold aura. The boss they dreamed of the most. Even he's strict, he knows how to care for his subordinates. Much kindness that others know the most but the devil of him hides on the character. Just when his love was hurt and his family.

Lance open the door of the car for him when he reach his parked car at the underground parking lot exclusive for him his subordinates. Axiel gets his phone to call someone.

“It's me, Axiel. How's my order to you? Is it ready?” he started the call and ask immediately with full of authority.

“Yes Master, it is ready for pick up and I assure you its quality. Exclusive and my new invention just for you, Mr. Monteverde.” the call receiver answered respectively. That guy knows his capabilities for him not to offend him. Nice one. Power and money can let others bow and follow you.

“Just assure it, Mr. Mendez. I can smash your company if you mess with me. You know I hate liars and am not true to their words. SUPER.” Axiel emphasizes the last word. His threats are terrifying and scary.

“Rest assured Mr. Monteverde. No one dares to mess upon you, even me. I didn't have the match and guts to offend a VIP. I'm courting if I do Mr. Monteverde.” Mr. Mendez says in a frightened voice. You can tell that he is shaking right now.

Axiel chuckled, “Good for you to know Mr. Mendez.” he ended the call and glared outside. His cold expression was still on him. Not minding problems he had. He's a Monteverde for nothing. He's not afraid of everything except his biggest treasure. He can’t live if Lyn wasn't on his side. His energy and life.
