Chapter 145 Tonight, You Just Need to Take Care of Me

Chapter 145 Tonight, You Just Need to Take Care of Me

Ten minutes later.

The car pulled up in front of the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Alexander got out and walked around to the passenger side, opening the door. "Get out."

Grace looked around in confusion, unfamiliar with the surroundings. "Where are we?"

"Be good, get out," Alexander said.

He seemed too impatient to explain much, nor did he have time for lengthy explanations.

Grace obediently stepped out of the car, and the next second, he took her hand and led her toward the hotel. At the entrance, she stumbled on the threshold stone, nearly losing her balance and almost falling to the ground.

He smoothly caught her in his arms, practically lifting her as they walked, his amused laughter coming from above her head. "Clumsy girl!"

Grace looked up and glared at him with slight annoyance. "What did you bring me here for?"

She seemed to be asking a question she already knew the answer to, but felt that his bringing her so brazenly to a hotel made his intentions far too obvious!

It looked like he had no intention of going home tonight. He must be worried about Liam and Max...

Thinking of Liam and Max, Grace quickly said, "We need to go home today..."

"Don't worry about them," Alexander replied. "The nanny will take care of them. Tonight, you just need to take care of me."

Grace's face immediately burned like fire as she muttered, "You're such a grown man, do you really need me to take care of you?"

Alexander didn't answer her question directly.

As soon as they entered the hotel lobby, the general manager spotted him and hurried over enthusiastically.

"Mr. Hayes, what brings you here?"

The Grand Hyatt Hotel was also under Crest Corporation's controlling investment. Since it was only a short distance from Crest Corporation, Alexander would sometimes stay at the hotel when he worked late at the office.

The hotel specifically kept an executive suite reserved for his exclusive use.

No need for check-in cards or complicated registration procedures—the hotel manager escorted them to the elevator, swiped his card to press the floor button, then bowed deeply. He didn't dare lift his head to look at Grace even once, not until the elevator doors closed.

Because he knew the rules.

The 29th floor of the hotel.

The entire floor had only five suites.

His exclusive suite was located at the far end of the corridor—also the largest one.

The entire floor was eerily quiet, with only two of the five suites occupied.

The soundproofing was excellent, and the entire floor was carpeted, so they didn't make any footsteps as they walked.

She felt like a doll being carried in his arms, her feet barely touching the ground.

At the room door, Alexander pressed his fingerprint to unlock it. As soon as the door opened, his hand around her waist gave a gentle push, and she stumbled forward unprepared, nearly falling inside.

Alexander slipped through the door and caught her back in his arms just in time, not forgetting to tease, "Dummy, did you forget how to walk?"

"You're the one talking?" Grace's temper flared up. "You pushed me..."

The door closed softly.

He pressed her against the door, removing his suit jacket with one hand, clearly not giving her any chance to catch her breath. Leaning down, he captured her lips in a kiss.

He seemed remarkably skilled—his suit jacket, shirt, all removed in one fluid motion. In an instant, his well-built torso was exposed before her eyes.

"You..." Grace said with some surprise.

Weren't his movements a bit too fast?

Watching his smooth, practiced motions, could it be that he had experience in this area?

At this thought, she felt somewhat uncomfortable, though she had clearly overlooked something, or perhaps she simply didn't understand men well enough.

In matters like this, men had always been quicker to catch on than women. It was an instinct carved into their bones—no one needed to teach them what to do. When the atmosphere and moment were right, everything would naturally fall into place.

What followed was completely natural.

Having come this far, the spacious executive suite became his domain to command freely.

She didn't even have a chance to protest before he completely overwhelmed her.

It wasn't until very, very late that he finally called it quits.

...

The next day.

The sun was high outside, well past noon, when Grace groggily woke up.

Opening her eyes, the only sound in the room was the air conditioning humming.

Beneath the pristine white covers, Alexander held her close while she pillowed her head on his arm—that's how they'd slept all night.

The slightest movement made Grace feel sore in her back and legs, even her arms aching. It felt as though every bone in her body had been disassembled and reassembled.

The man beside her slept peacefully, holding her in his arms with his eyes closed, still asleep.

This was her first time... being intimate with him.

The bite marks still lingering on her shoulder silently testified to just how intense he had been last night.

Grace pressed her lips together, feeling blood rush to her head, her face burning in waves of heat.

Alexander's eyes suddenly opened.

Grace instinctively buried her face in the covers, her scalp tingling as she closed her eyes, not daring to meet his gaze.

"Awake?"

His voice carried the raspy quality of someone just waking up.

Grace's entire body tensed as she couldn't help but turn away from him, curling herself into an even smaller ball.

Alexander lazily pulled her into his embrace from behind, his handsome face gently nuzzling against her neck as he pressed light kisses to her shoulder. "Why are you turning away from me?"

Recalling last night's events, Alexander still savored the memory.

She had been pure as a blank canvas, and now he had painted her with his colors.

His exclusive colors.

"I... I'm not fully awake yet..." Grace said.

She secretly resented why she had woken up before him, leaving her unprepared to face him.

The man's lips curved into a captivating smile. "Then, shall we continue?"

"Continue?..."

Grace opened her eyes in confusion, asking drowsily, "Continue what?"

Alexander whispered in her ear with wicked amusement, enunciating each word playfully, "Continue what we didn't finish last night."

"No..." Grace quickly pleaded for mercy. "I don't want to anymore..."

"But you clearly enjoyed it too."

"Hey!"

Grace turned around and covered his mouth. "Stop talking! I... we should go back! We've been out all night—Max and Liam will be worried."

"You still have extra energy to worry about them?" Alexander said. "Looks like I didn't perform well enough last night."

Grace simply buried herself completely under the covers, feeling her face must be too red to look at.

He finally showed some mercy and stopped teasing her. "Do you want to shower?"

"Mm..."

"Should I go first, or you first?"

Although they had already showered once last night, after the bath, when he carried her to bed, he couldn't help but want her again.

"You... you go first..." Grace said.

Alexander smiled and suddenly pulled back the covers, gathering her into his arms. "How about together?"
