Chapter 19: crazy proposal
JAYDEN'S POV
After a long weekdays, I decided to treat Monalisa out for a date. On a second thought, I planned the date to happen in my house.
I got everything ready.
just finished freshening up when I heard the door bell ring.
I quickly wrapped my towel around my waist and went out of my room.
While walking downstairs, I came to a halt.
"Deja vu. Yes. With Cynthia. Well, it's Monalisa coming over and...I wouldn't mind if she unwraps my towel tonight and we can have one or two either on the couch or up in my room"
The doorbell rang again and I hurried to the door.
I paused and took a deep breath before opening the door.
There stood my woman Monalisa. She was looking pretty and gorgeous in that white gown.
"Oh! My bad" she quickly turned away
"Bad? What? Hey, it's no big deal. You're my woman and you have the right to behold my nakedness, likewise me"
"What?
"Do come in please "
I shut the door behind me and walked her down to the living room.
"Do sit. I'll go upstairs and get into something comfortable"
"Yes you should"
"Meanwhile, you..." I took few steps closer to her. "Take care of yourself. Do not miss me so much"
"Come on Jayden. You're going to change into some clothes. Why would I miss you" she giggled.
"Funny right?
"Yes and crazy too. You're quite crazy at times "
"Then... I'll show you crazy".
I immediately pinned her against the wall, my hand has grabbed two of her hands, raising it above her head.
"Wanna see what crazy is like huh?
I raised her chin and touched her soft lovely face.
"You smell quite nice. I want to bear your scent tonight" I winked at her and released her. "I'll go change into something"
I hurried quickly to my room and got dressed in a beige trouser and white shirt. Let few buttons breath also to let my huge chest breath.
who said man can't seduce women with their chest?
Crazy theory proven wrong many times by me.
I checked out my handsome self at the mirror before heading downstairs.
I didn't find Monalisa in the living room so I quickly checked the kitchen and dining room.
She wasn't there. Where could she have gone to?
I hurried over to the poolside and there she was, her beautiful figure standing and staring into the air.
I carefully and quietly walked to her and hugged her from behind, startling her and she let out a scream.
"Oh Jay, you scared me"
"Who else lives here? No one. Come, let's have dinner"
Minutes after the dinner, I grabbed a bottle of wine and two wine glasses which I took to the poolside where she was.
I poured some wine into the glasses and handed one to her.
"You're indeed a rich guy with a nice taste. Your poolside is so massive. It could literally throw a pool party here"
"I know but I don't throw parties in my house"
"Really? But you look like the party type. My bad. I do not mean to....".
"Hey, it's okay. Yup, I'm definitely the party guy but not the party thrower. I do not throw parties but I sure do attend parties, not all but reasonable ones".
"Oh. That's good. Uhmm...not that I'm trying to prey into your private life but...you haven't told me anything about you"
"Huh?
"I barely know you. Don't get me wrong. I just know you as Sophie's uncle and a rich CEO, that's all. I don't know things about you. What you like and dislike, hobbies, kind of people you like and detest, family, and all that...."
"Hey babe, relax. You'll get to find out soon We've got to take them step by step. Same here, I know nothing about you. I know you as Sophie's teacher. At the appropriate time, we'll get to know eachother more. Right now " I pulled her in. "Let's just enjoy the night " I kissed her.
my hand moved from her shoulder to her lap, it slowly moved under her gown but she quickly stopped me from going further and stood up.
"What is it Mona?
"Uh, we can't"
"Can't what?
"We can't do this "
"Do what exactly?
"Have sex right now".
"Why? Are you on your period?.
"No I'm not ".
"So what's the problem?.
"I won't have sex with you until we are married. That's a vow I took. I won't have sex any guy I'm dating until we are married"
"You are kidding right? I laughed. "That's so old fashioned. come on babe. come sit and let's have a good time.
"No I can't do it ".
"What's the big deal. it's not a new thing to you "
"It is a new thing to me"
"How do you mean? Monalisa please, I'm in the mood"
"I'm sorry but I have to go home ".
"Wait, just like that? Okay fine. No sex until you are ready for it"
"Really?
"Yes. I won't bug you until you are ready for it"
"Thank you"
"But we can kiss right?.
"Yes we can"
Good grief, maybe she's trying to be celibate.
It's been a month since Monalisa and I started dating so I decided to something extraordinary, plan our one month anniversary.
Since we started dating, I've been quite busy as my company has landed two huge contracts which I decided to supervise myself.
I checked out the newest and best restaurants around and booked the entire restaurant for our day. I got it ready for the date.
I sent in a some shopping bags to Monalisa who was thrilled with the items in them.
7pm, I was all dressed up and I drove down to the restaurant.
Minutes later, Monalisa arrived at the restaurant. We hugged and settled in.
I signalled the waiter to serve our meals.
"Enjoying the meal? I asked
"Most definitely "
"What? I guess you are. Monalisa, happy one month anniversary to us"
"Yes babe. I never thought you would go to this length for the anniversary. I'm really moved. Thank you Jay, thank you for making me the happiest woman on earth"
"Yes"
"That's so sweet of you ".
"Miss Monalisa , I know it might come as a shock to you but try not to freak out "
"Okay, what is it?
"Miss Monalisa...will you marry me?.
"What!!!
