Chapter 13: interrupted date
Author's POV
Jayden decided to ask Monalisa out in his own style.
After a long week, Jayden sent Sophie back to her parents to enable him plan how to get Monalisa to be his.
He invited Monalisa over to his house. Monalisa unaware that Sophie has returned back to her parents house accepted the invitation and showed up at Jayden's house on Saturday evening.
She rang the doorbell twice and waited for the door to be answered.
The door opened and Jayden stood before her, sweating in his white vest and an apron around his waist. He was preparing dinner for them.
Jayden pulled out the napkin from the apron and wiped his hands.
Monalisa was lost in his charms. She couldn't take her eyes off his perfect body. His huge muscles and biceps got her drooling over him. The sweat on his body especially the one on his forehead got Monalisa melting away. She tried to get hold of herself and not let Jayden catch on her drooling over him.
"You're here so early miss Monalisa"
"Am I not supposed to be early?
"No. Please come in"
Jayden stepped aside and let Monalisa in. He shut the door and followed her.
"Please have a seat. What do I offer you? I've got some juice, I've got some pretty nice wine and beer too"
"Ah, no thank you "
"What do you mean by that? I'll get you a glass of wine "
"Juice please "
"Juice? okay. Be right back "
Jayden left for the kitchen and returned back to Monalisa with a glass of juice and a plate of cookies which he placed before her.
"Dinner will be ready soon. Just give me minute okay? Just enjoy the juice and snack and the TV " Jayden winked at her and left for the kitchen.
Jayden finished up with his cooking and hurried up to his room. He took a quick shower and changed into a black short sleeve shirt and a black trousers.
He joined Monalisa in the living room, who was enjoying the movie playing on the TV.
"Dinner is set" Jayden announced.
"Set? Uh, I'm okay with this"
"I invited you over for dinner and not to have some snacks. So come with me to the dining room"
"Okay. After you"
"Ladies first"
"But this is your house"
"Very well then. This way. like you haven't been to my dining room"
"Ah... nothing"
Jayden rushed over to a seat and pulled it out for Monalisa to sit on.
He immediately began to dish out the food.
The scene was perfect, a little red nice scented candles and flowers.
Jayden served Monalisa her food and served his. He opened the wine and poured into their glasses before having his seat.
Monalisa's eyes searched for Sophie. She turned to Jayden and asked of Sophie. Jayden chucked and asked her to eat . Monalisa insisted on getting Sophie to join.
Jayden took a sip of the wine and placed the glass on the table.
"Monalisa, Sophie isn't here. She went back to her parents house yesterday evening"
"What? And you did not inform me? What the am I doing here?
"Chill. For a dinner date with me"
"Dinner what? With the father of my student? This is so wrong!
"Hey, chill. For the one millionth time, I'm not Sophie's father or do you purposely say that to see what I'll do? And is it a crime for a handsome, rich Billionaire CEO Jayden James Bruno to have a dinner date with the beautiful Monalisa?
"Dinner date? But...why?
"Because I want to. So enjoy the dinner. I made it. Tell me, how is my cooking?
"Tastes nice I must say" Monalisa smiled at him.
"That's good. ".
"Can you tell me the reason for this date? What do you want from me? Help Sophie pass her exams? I know you love Sophie so much and that uncles tend to spoil their nieces but trust me , it's not necessary because Sophie is such an intelligent girl and she can do so well on her own. She doesn't need extra help okay and..."
"Chill mona. This isn't about Sophie"
"Then, who is it about?
"Us"
"Us? You mean The two of us?
"Yes, the two of us if you put it that way?
"What about us? What do you want?
"You. I want you"
"What?
"Yes, I need you so badly. I want to fuck so badly. I have wet dreams of us making out and I want those dreams to be reality" Jayden thought and chuckled.
"Why are you laughing?
"Nothing. No, something. I really want you. I need you Monalisa"
"Why do you want me? I'm just a teacher. I've got no money. Do you want my services as a teacher?
Jayden chuckled and looked at her. "No. I know you are single and I am also single and I want you to..." Jayden's speech got interrupted by Monalisa's phone which was ringing.
"One minute"
"Sure".
"Hello Tricia, no. I'm not at home, why? What!!! I'll be right there"
"What's wrong? What happened?
"My friend Tricia just called. It's an emergency. "
"What's the emergency?
"She was arrested"
"Why? Is she a thug?
"No. It's a long story. I have to run along now "
"Hold up. I'm coming with you "
"Why?
"I don't want you getting involved in a messy situation. Jayden doesn't like his woman being hurt?
"Woman?
"I'll grab my car key from my room. Don't leave without me, got it?
"Uh yes"
Jayden quickly left for his room.
"Did I hear him clearly? Woman? Monalisa smiled. "No snap out of it Monalisa. He's a rich Billionaire and a CEO of multimillion dollar company. No. He's just my student's father, I mean uncle. Yes"
Jayden returned back to the dining room with the car key.
"Got it. shall we?
"Yes"
Jayden and Monalisa left for his car garage and Monalisa let out a scream.
"What is it?
"This is your car garage? Like it belongs to you? The cars,They are your cars? Yours alone? Monalisa asked in a surprised tone.
"Yes why?
"Nothing. You're really a billionaire ".
"Get in the car"
Monalisa swallowed her Silva real hard and stared at Jayden like a lost puppy.
"This one?
"You seem shocked, why?
"Nothing. Just...I haven't been to this part of your house. You normally drop me off with that car parked in front of your house "
"Ah! That's my errand car. My chauffeur uses it to run errands so no need bringing it in here"
"We could use that car, you know?
"Get in Monalisa"
Monalisa got into the car and held her breath for a few seconds before exhaling
"This car is damn expensive. What the hell? This dude is damn rich. I can never match up to his level. Never". Monalisa thought.
"Seat belt?
"Uhmm, how do I work it this seatbelt"
"I'll do that" Jayden leaned it and reached out to the seatbelt.
Monalisa's heart couldn't stop beating so fast. She quickly placed her hands on her chest to stop her heart beat being heard by Jayden.
Jayden turned to her and looked into her eyes. He drew closer, almost their lips touching.
Monalisa quickly shut her eyes, hoping for a kiss.
Jayden smiled and fixed the seatbelt.
Monalisa realised that Jayden wasn't close to her and opened her eyes.
"You fixed it. Nice" she gave a nervous laughter.
"Are you okay?
"Yes. " She smiled at him . "Stupid Monalisa " she mumbled and bit her lower lip in disappointment.
