Chapter 44 Baby
This morning, lots of problems and issues in the firm greeted her in the office. As expected worst came to worst and unfortunately, she needs to prepare herself to lose her precious firm soon. She doesn't know how this happened, she has to admit she became neglectful these past few months and never realized that her firm is going through financial problems all along. It's just so hard to believe that in just a blink of an eye, things can possibly vanish and be dissolve just like that. The firm that she dreamed of and established through hard work is now failing and dealing with bankruptcy. It's just so hard to believe that her dreams will be destroyed by someone she trusted and never thought will trick her. That in just a blink of an eye, everything will be gone soon.
Thinking about all her problems made her head hurt. Strange but she oftentimes gets dizzy for the past few days. Even her appetite in eating got affected too. She seldom eats and skips meals trying to find a solution on how to save her company. She rather chooses to sleep than eat when at home. She never told her father about the problems she was dealing with. As much as possible, she doesn't want him to get worried so she would rather keep this problem for the meantime. She was at that thought when her intercom ding that took her attention. It was Liz so she immediately listen to what she was about to say.
"Bea, Mr. Williams was on the line and wanted to speak with you." Her Secretary stated.
Her fist automatically tightened out of disgust after hearing that. She doubt it was for business. After blocking him on her phone now he was trying to reach her in her office number.
"Okay Liz, I'll take it. Thank you." She told her Secretary as she waited for the call to be transfer to her.
"How many times do I have to tell you, leave me alone!" She told him disgustingly.
"Listen, we need to talk!"
"Talk? Screw you! I know it's never going to be a conversation, you manipulative selfish bastard!" She furiously stated gritting her teeth.
She knew him well. He was sly and manipulative. This is a trap and she will never let him be fooled by his manipulations. After threatening her through text messages now he was telling her they need to talk for what?
"I missed you, baby..." He whispered sensually. Dammit, but hearing his sensual voice made her downy hair raised as if she could feel his lips on her ears.

She suddenly felt weak in embarrassment and anger when she heard him talk dirty.

"You will never stop won't you?" She stated trying to make her voice normal and unaffected.
"Meet me tonight. I'll ask my driver to pick you in your office later." His voice now turned rigid and cold. It is not a request, it's more like an order.
"Never!"
"You will meet me tonight or you will never like what I'm going to do." He warned dangerously.
"What do you mean? So you're blackmailing me now!" She retorted gritting her teeth in rage.
"I told you to break up with that good-for-nothing boyfriend of yours. I already marked you mine and trust me I never share what's mine, Bea. You wouldn't want me talking to him and spilling every detail I did when I do you. She felt all the blood in her body went all in her head out of anger and couldn't help to curse him.

"Ughhh! I'm warning you. Stay away from Matt, stay away from our lives!"
"Oh, that I will never do. Your mine now and I intend to keep what's exclusively mine."
"I'm not coming!"
"Try me, baby. Meet me tonight or I'll meet that bastard you call your boyfriend. Trust me, you wouldn't want to make me wait, Bea..." He uttered as if threatening her.
"Ughhh! I hate you! I hate you so much!" She shouted furiously and hung up immediately as if wanting to break the telephone into pieces.
Of all the people, why does she have to deal with all of these problems at one time? She was torn between the problems of her firm and the problem she has with Thyago. Why that despicable brute couldn't just stop pestering her? He already got what he wants and now he's using that as a tool in blackmailing her. He really hates him so much! Gritting her teeth in rage and annoyance at her situation, she suddenly felt the dizziness and the pain in her head struck her again.
"Bea, are you okay?" Her secretary asked which she never noticed entered her office and now holding the files which she guesses she asked for earlier.
"I'm just a bit dizzy, Liz. Can you get me a glass of water please?" She pleaded.
"Sure. Wait there, I'll be right back." But as soon as her secretary turn around, she felt the searing pain in her head gets stronger and the room seem to be swaying in her sight. A few moments later she felt she tumbled down as she was slowly being enveloped by darkness.
"Oh my gosh, Bea!" She still heard her secretary called out before she totally lost consciousness...
When she wakes up, it was white everywhere. White curtains, white mattress then she realized she was in the hospital as she remembered what happened a little while ago.
"Thanked God you're awake now! Are you okay now, Bea?" Her secretary worriedly uttered.
"What happened?" She asked.
"You lost consciousness. I got so worried so we brought you to the nearest hospital. How do you feel, now?"
"I'm okay. I just felt dizzy. You shouldn't bring me here to the hospital. This is not too serious." She stated trying to arise in the bed but her secretary stopped her to do so.
"Rest, please. Let's wait for the doctor's findings first."
"Wait, did you called my Dad, about this?" She immediately asked.
She doesn't want her Dad to get worried because she was now okay. This is not that serious. Besides, she was fine now and good as new. She might got stressed out because of the problem she was dealing with at the firm.
"Not yet. I called your boyfriend first but he wasn't answering. Do you want me to call your Dad?"
"No, no, please. I don't want him to get worried. Thank you for your help, Liz. I really appreciate it." She honestly told her secretary.
Liz was not just an efficient secretary, although she was a bit nosy she knew the woman was generous and really cares for her as much as she does. She was just grateful she was with her when she lost consciousness because she could have badly hit her head or worst might have happened if she wasn't around to help her. Not long enough, the doctor came bringing her test results.
"What was her condition Doc?" Liz asked the doctor.
"Oh, nothing to worry about. Test results state that she was pregnant. Congratulations Miss Watson your four weeks pregnant!" The doctor announced happily.
A gasped escape her mouth as she got stunned for a long moment. Being confused and bothered, she felt bits of sweat starting to pop on her forehead as she swallowed an imaginary lump out of agitation and panic.
Did she hear the doctor's right? She was what? Pregnant? No! The doctors gotta be mistaken. Oh damn, how could she be stupid not to think she couldn't get pregnant? They never use protection! Oh no! This is not happening...
"Feeling dizzy and nauseating is just normal. Being fuzzy on foods or losing out of appetite is normal too during the early pregnancy stage but I advise you to eat healthy foods for the good development of the baby." The doctor stated.
"Congratulations! This calls for a celebration!" She heard Liz happily told her but she doesn't feel like celebrating.
What will she do now? She was in big trouble! This is the result of giving herself to Thyago and for the multiple times they had sex in her pad. Liz might have noticed her silence and shocked face the reason she never said anything else after that. Although the woman was confused, it's a good thing she managed to keep her silence.
The doctor prescribed a list of vitamins she should take and advised her what healthy foods she should eat but she couldn't understand the next words she said because her mind was occupied by worries and bewilderment. She can't believe that she was now carrying a little life in her tummy. The result of impulsiveness and giving herself to Thyagos impetuosity and seduction. She was not gonna lie that with all those times, she also enjoyed every bit of it but she knew it was all lust, nothing more.
"Thank you so much, Doc." Liz managed to say when the Doctor still heard no response from her.
"Are you okay?" Liz asked her after the doctor left.
She just nods as an answer as she let her be guided by her after the doctor announced that she can now go home. Her mind was full of worries and fears. She was thinking about Matt and how will she going to explain this to him. He will be hurt and mad as hell. And Thyago... What is he going to do if he finds this?
