CHAPTER 14 - SURPRISE THAT WILL NOT MAKE YOU HAPPY
After what I saw, kinabukasan ay agad akong pumunta kay Thyrone para ipakita ang video.
“Thyrone. Can I talk to you?”
“If it's about our marriage, please just stop. I still have to go to work.”
“No, I have something to show you.” napatigil siya sa paglalakad when I said that.
“I actually have the footage of the black box of your father's car when he killed Shaira. I used this to blackmail him para mapakasalan kita, but.. I saw unusual in the end of the video.” agad kong pinlay at binigay sa kaniya ang phone.
“Ngayon ko lang yan nakita, years after na nasa akin yan. He murdered another person.”
“What?!”
“Look at the video, I think it's someone that we don't know. She looks like in her 30's.”
“Wait..”
Thyrone's POV
Habang pinapanood ko ang video, napapansin ko na kilala ko ang mukha ng taong pinatay ng papa ko.
“I-I know her..”
“Really? You know her? Sino siya?”
“S-She's..” naalala ko bigla ang picture ng mama ni Ms. Raven na nasa libingan.
“S-She's Ms. Raven's.. mother.”
“What?! B-But, how? How did you know that it's her?!”
“It's her anniversary of death kahapon, and anniversary of death din ni Shaira kahapon. Sinamahan ko si Ms. Raven sa libingan ng mama niya, and I saw her picture there.”
“What the—”
“Impossible.. My dad.. killed not only my past lover, but even Ms. Raven's mom.”
Pumasok ako na malalim ang iniisip at halos maiyak na, at sinalubong ako ni Ms. Raven na nakangiti. Nadudurog ako sa ngiti niya, my dad killed her mother.
“Good morning Mr. Fierre!” binati niya ko na may ngiti.
Hindi ko na siya sinagot at umupo na lang, agad ko siyang tinanong.
“Ms. Raven.”
“Hmm?”
“How did your mother died?”
“I told you right kahapon? She died on a car accident.”
“But.. Nahuli ba kung sino nakabangga sa kaniya?”
“No, wala kasing CCTV sa lugar ng aksidente. So hindi nahuli, by the way, why are you asking that?”
“N-Nothing, I just became curious.”
It turns out, that our story is tragedy. Because of my father, nawala ang babaeng mahal ko, at pati ang mama ng babaeng minamahal ko ngayon.
Lumina's POV
Ano kaya nangyare sa kaniya? Ba't antahimik niya this day? Parang kahapon lang ang clingy niya. Hindi kaya, niloloko nanaman niya 'ko?
“Sir, your meeting—”
“Ms. Raven, can you cancel all of my meetings? I'll just meet someone.”
“Wha—” agad siyang umalis, nagmamadali.
Anong nangyari do'n? May masama kayang nangyari?
Thyrone's POV
I drove to my dad's house, alam ko namang hindi siya lagi pumapasok at lagi lang nasa bahay. Kaya naabutan ko pa siya do'n, I have the copy of video with me.
“Dad!”
“Oh, why are you here? Narealize mo na ba na mas mahalaga ako?”
“What's the meaning of this?” agad kong hinarap sa kaniya ang video, ang part kung saan binangga niya ang mama ni Ms. Raven.
“H-How did you..”
“Kierra gave it to me. You killed another person?!”
“I-It's..”
“Why? WHY?! Why do you have to keep wrecking my life?!”
“I don't have a choice. She saw me, She witnessed how I killed Shaira with my car. So I killed her also.”
“Napaka demonyo mo!”
“Why are you so concerned about that lady?! It's not like you know her!”
“She's.. She's Ms. Raven's mother!”
“W-What??”
“Not only you killed my girlfriend, but you also killed Ms. Raven's mother? Are you still a human?!”
Parang wala siyang pakialam, at umupo ulit sa upuan niya.
“Then good, another reason para hindi maging kayo ng secretary mo at mapunta ka kay Kierra.”
“Napakasama mo.”
Lumina's POV
Habang kinakausap ko isa-isa ang clients na dapat kameeting niya, biglang may kumatok. It's Kierra.
“W-Why are you here Ms. Kierra? Wala po dito si Mr. Fierre.”
“Ikaw ang gusto ko makausap ngayon.”
“Tungkol saan?”
“Quit being his secretary.”
“What? What are you talking about?”
“Leave Thyrone. Quit, ako na bahala sa pera para makalipat kayo ng pamilya mo sa malayo.”
“Bakit mo naman ako gustong palipatin?”
“Para mapasaakin si Thyrone.”
“Dahil lang do'n? You will make me quit my work?”
“Not only that. Sa tingin mo ba pag nalaman ni Thyrone na ikaw ang Lumina na kilala niya 5 years ago, mapapatawad ka niya?”
“H-How did you—”
“Connections, at narinig ko kayo mag usap ni Clyde. You are so delusional Lumina. Just because he confessed to you, nakalimutan mo na ang ginawa niya sayo at nag imagine agad ng happy ending.”
“You know me so I don't need to be respectful. You're right, it's me. But hindi ako aalis sa tabi niya, we both have feelings for each other.”
“Then don't, sa oras na sinabi ko sa kaniya na ikaw ang taong pinaglaruan niya, at nandito ka for the purpose of revenge. He will be hurt, and you will regret it. Besides, there's another reason why you should leave.”
“What reason?”
“I can't say it to you. It's a secret. Just quit.”
“I won't.”
“Ang tigas ng ulo mo.”
“Wala akong pake, I know that you're doing this to make him yours, gano'n ka ba kadesperate na mapasakaniya? How lame.”
“Both reason of I want to make him mine, and I don't want to see him cry again. Tama na yung sakit na naranasan niya when Shaira died. It's on your decision kung gusto mo siya masaktan.”
“Kahit anong sabihin mo, hindi ako aalis.”
“Fine. Just remember, I gave you the chance, but you don't want to take it. Sa oras na malaman mo ang main reason, gugustuhin mong tumakbo palayo kay Thyrone.”
She left me, and I'm puzzled. What main reason is she saying?

Kinabukasan, pagpasok ko pa lang sa company, I can hear workers murmuring something.
“Uy, balita ko si Sir Fierre daw papakasalan yung bestfriend niya, Si Ms. Kierra ba 'yon?”
“Oo, I guess magkakalevel talaga ang para sa isa't isa.”
“Si Sir Fierre mismo nag announce kanina, grabe.”
Nagmamadali ako na pumunta sa office, at nakita ko siya. That look in his eyes, that's the same look he has 5 years ago, when he played with my feelings.
“Sir, ano yung naririnig ko sa mga workers na.. Ikakasal daw po kayo ni Kierra?”
“Oh, yes. I decided to marry her.”
“But.. You said you like me right? You have feelings for me right?” that mischievous look on his eyes, I saw them again for the first time after 5 years.
“I didn't know you are that easy Ms. Raven. Naniwala ka pala do'n?”
“N-No.. You're lying.”
“Sorry Ms. Raven, but I realized that.. Kierra is the one I love.”
Sinaktuhan nito ang pagpasok ni Kierra sa office, she held his hand.
“Oh, Morning Ms. Raven.”
“W-What are you..”
“Alam mo naman na siguro, he decided to marry me.”
“Let's go baby.”
“Sure.”
Iniwan nila ako mag isa, again, for the 2nd time. Niloko niya ko, at pinaasa.
Thyrone's POV
Pagsakay namin ng elevator, agad kong tinulak si Kierra.
“Tapos na, she's not around anymore.”
“You're willing to go this far? Just to make her quit?”
“None of your business.”
“So cold.”
I have to do this, I want her to run away from me. Dahil ayoko siyang makitang umiyak. Ayoko siyang masaktan. It's okay to make her think of me as a player, than making her cry by saying the truth behind her mother's death.
Clyde's POV
Binabalak ko sana puntahan si Lumina sa company, pero pagpasok ko pa lang, nakakarinig na ako ng usapan.
“Grabe 'no?”
“Mag bestfriend tas ikakasal na.”
“Bagay naman si Sir at Ms. Kierra e.”
Kasabay nito, nakita ko na naglalakad sina Thyrone at Kierra, na magkahawak kamay.
“W-What are you two doing?”
“Oh, hey Clyde.”
“Hey, Thyrone decided to marry me.”
“W-What? What about Lumina?”
Hindi na ako nag aksaya ng oras at nagmadali pumunta sa office, I saw her crying. Again.
“Lumina.”
“C-Clyde.. What are you—” hindi ko na siya pinatapos at niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit. I can feel her tears on my shoulder.
“Niloko niya ulit ako, He played with my feelings again.” niyakap ko na lang siya ng mahigpit at hindi na nagsalita pa.
That's when I made a promise on myself. Hindi ko na siya pakakawalan ulit, Hindi ko na hahayaang masaktan siya dahil sa pinsan ko. I will make her mine, for her own sake.
