The Silvercrest Is Winning
~Alina Pov~
I watched as Kennedy led the Wolves Warriors to battle. I watched him with a hot gaze, even if I had faith in my man I still couldn't help but be worried.
I don't want him to be injured again. He had just recovered and I wouldn't want him to go unconscious again as that would drive me crazy. I bit my lips as I watched the gate close but I didn't move from the gate and guided it with the other soldiers. I know I couldn't do much but I know the sight of me will calm the non fighters down.
My parents had disagreed with me coming out but I had been stubborn. My child is a strong one and he should know the kind of family he came from but I wouldn't put him in danger. I wouldn't fight but I can also use my brain.
I pulsed my lips and looked towards the battleground but I could only see the backs of a few of them. After waiting till late at night and the sounds of growls could still be heard, my father walked towards me and then handed me a loaf of bread and water. I looked at him gratefully then ate it.
"You look pale. Remember you are pregnant and this is your first child, you wouldn't want anything to happen to the child right? So be careful." He warned and I had to bow my head as I knew he was correct.
I nodded my head and then continued eating my bread while standing. My father looked around the pack and then nodded in awe, "The Northern pack is worthy of its position. They looked well arranged and even if they wanted to barge in, they would be instantly killed." He said then nodded again.
I looked around but then I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around in alert and widened my eyes when I saw who it was, "Derek!" I called out in alarm then my eyes turned cold, "How were you able to come outside? What are your thoughts? Trying to do it?!" I asked in suspicion.
My father looked at us in confusion then pushed me to the back and stood protectively in front of me, "Hey! Who are you?!" He asked with a blade in his voice.
Derek looked at us nervously, then he fixed his eyes on me, "Luna.." He called out in a hoarse voice that made me frown.
I raised an eyebrow and then moved to stand in front of my father, I just felt Derek wouldn't hurt me then I nodded at him signaling him to continue.
Derek clenched his fist and then looked at me pleadingly, "Please allow me out! I need to do something important!" He said desperately.
And this is how I got to this place. I hid behind in a safe place but I could see the battle going on clearly. I had watched the Kennedy stand in front of Gregor and it seemed there was a confrontation happening, I watched as Derek who had been standing next to me ran into the battle and killed Gregor himself, I saw the shock on Gregor's face knowing the person who had killed him wasn't Kennedy but his brother. And I had seen Gregor fall to the ground and finally lost his life.
I looked at Derek who stood with a bloody dagger and suddenly bowed to Kennedy who looked at him coldly and looked like a devil with his hands filled with blood. I couldn't help but look at my man in awe, even when he was not paying attention to the war going on at that moment, he was still able to accurately twist enemies who had sneaked an attack.
I looked at Kennedy and Derek curiously to see what they were about to do but it was just annoying. I couldn't hear what they were saying as I was in a far place but I could see them. I watched as Derek bowed deeply then Kennedy shook his head in pity before looking coldly at Derek who had said something Kennedy replied and turned his back then rushed into the ongoing battle while Derek looked at his back and I could see he looked so lonely and desolate making me confused. He turned around and walked towards me while I waited.
He stood in front of me then suddenly dropped the dagger in his hand in my front, "Luna! Hold this dagger as it will help you. It's small and suitable for you, and can surely act like a dependable weapon." He said then looked at me deeply.
"Please take care of Alpha Ken, he loves you. I will be leaving and won't come back. Goodbye, Luna!" He said and without waiting for my response, he walked away.
I watched his back as he walked away and couldn't understand anything, but then I suddenly heard a loud howl that made me forget about Derek at the moment as I focused on the battle going on. My chest will hurt when I see the wolves of the Northern pack being killed.
Seeing Kennedy waving through the crowd and killing enemies like they were ants, my eyes couldn't help but light up in awe. I searched around and finally saw that bastard Alpha Richard. My eyes turned cold as I watched him kill off so many Warriors of my Northern pack.
I felt so angry watching him, especially when I saw him kill the commander of a section cruelly, I couldn't help but gag disgustingly. My father had stopped me from coming but I had reassured him that there was a hidden place where I could watch the battle with restriction. He had worriedly told me I would feel disgusted which I had waived off but now…I understand what he meant.
The war kept on going till midnight when suddenly The Silvercrest started a rampage! They started winning and getting doubled and tripled out of nowhere. I rubbed my face and looked at the situation in front of me.
Then I sat up when I saw Kennedy and Richard the two Alphas finally meet. Each bloody than the other and the eye as cold and aura filled with danger and killing intent.
"Alpha of the North, as you can see, my men are overpowering your people, why don't you surrender?!"
