An Unexpected Surprise

I looked at him in surprise, then furrowed my brows, but nodded as I could remember that day and what he had said clearly but I don't know why he was repeating his words now.

I smiled calmly at him and asked him to continue. He smiled gently and then snickered which made me glare at him.

He raised his two hands in surrender, "Okay! Okay! I will say it. Just stop glaring at me." He said then I rolled my eyes speechlessly.

His face turned serious, "I told you then that method will put Ken in trouble and will endanger him. That's because it will endanger him truly and he might die then but not now!" He said then without waiting for us to ask him to explain, he continued.

"If he had forced his power to awaken then, he might blow up and bleed to death, but since it's come naturally now, then you can surely be saved!" He said and I looked at him with shock.

I can't count how many shocks I have received today. And I don't want to receive more of it. I looked at him with my mouth wide open, then I closed my eyes and covered my face with my hands.

"To be honest, when Kennedy had come to me today, I hadn't said a thing because he had shocked me with his words and made me angry, and I had wanted to tell him to wait for one more year and you would be able to talk again, but he had rushed out." He said then shook his head in sadness.

I kept looking at him and felt a mixture of emotions. Everything was like a rollercoaster. But then my mum rushed to him and held his hands.

"What do you mean? She can be saved? How? Will it endanger them? And why wait for the actor before she can talk again?!" Mum asked anxiously and her face was filled with excitement and worries.

I looked at Jerry nervously and waited for him to tell me as I was curious too. Jerry smiled and then looked at me deeply which confused me.

"No, they won't be in danger, yes, Alina can be saved, and the reason I had said a year is-" He stopped then looked at my mum, "Didn't you notice anything with Alina?" He asked with a smile while I looked on with confusion on my face.

I looked at myself but all I saw were my clothes and everything seemed okay, right?!- But then when I looked at my mother, I saw her eyes widen as she looked at me piercingly, and then she covered her mouth in disbelief with tears in her eyes.

My father and I looked at each other and we could see the confusion on each other's faces. Then I was suddenly hugged by my mother and then she kissed my both cheeks and hugged me again while I stayed still in confusion like a dummy.

Then I heard Jerry's voice, "The reason she has to wait for more than a year before she can talk again is because we would be transferring Kennedy's energy to repair Her body and it can be so painful like she is in hell which she can't go through now because she is pregnant!"

My mind went blank, I stood there in shock, my hands fell limply on my sides and I looked at them confused. Then it registered in my brain, "I'm pregnant!"

I'm pregnant!

Pregnant! Pregnant! Kennedy's baby! A baby! My child!

"Hhahhargr!" I screamed in excitement but what came out was broken but who cares about that?!

I touched my tummy and turned to look at my mum in disbelief, then raised my brows in question which she nodded happily then I believed it-I'm pregnant!

I smiled joyfully then hugged my mother in happiness, and she hugged me back too. Then my father came closer to us and hugged me in excitement.

I looked at Jerry gratefully then walked closer to him and hugged him gratefully then gestured, "Ken will be so happy! He will be the happiest person!" A smile blossomed on my face imagining the look on Ken's face.

Today is filled with so many tensions and surprises. I walked toward the pack house where both I and Ken lived.

Dad, Mum, Jerry, and I had agreed to let Mum continue living in Adana's place to heal her as she knows much about the Black Stone dad had said he would go back to the hidden pack and Jerry said he would keep coming to assist mother while I will go back home so Kennedy wouldn't suspect anything.

I wanted to keep my pregnancy a secret for now and when everything had settled down, I would tell her happily. I smiled thinking about it and I couldn't help but support my tummy which was still so flat. I know if I tell Kennedy now, he will be settled and he will panic. So it was better for him to prepare for the upcoming war that I knew would happen very soon.

I walked into the house and then went upstairs to our room, immediately I opened the room, I saw Kennedy sitting on the bed with his arms crossed and-He was naked!

I looked at his figure and couldn't help but gulp, and when I looked up, I moved back in fear and gulped again but this time it was because of his cold glare.

"Where were you?!" He asked coldly and I couldn't help but feel sad at his tone.

I raised my shoulder and glared back at him angrily, "What's wrong with you?! Why are you fierce?! Do you want to beat me?" I asked daringly through the mind link.

Kennedy looked at me speechlessly and smiled awkwardly at me, "I was only worried about you, okay? Don't be angry." He hurriedly apologizes.

I snorted proudly then walked forward and looked at his chest. "Wow! Alpha…You look huge!"
