Chapter 44- I’ll rip his heart out, you shoot him between his eyes

Jack's POV

"I know where Sam is" She said ignoring my question.

I looked at her in disbelief.

Elijah shot her an angry look which made her go cowering behind angel.

Kevin hit Elijah in his stomach.

"Tell us Amy, where is Sam? " Asks Angel politely.

Amy looked at Elijah who was coughing and groaning in pain. Kevin holds her head in his palms so that she looks him in eyes.

"You are safe. He won't hurt you I promise," said Kevin.

I want to console her, tell her she is safe, but I have mission right now.

We still don't know where is Zoe.

Amy took her time to compose herself.

"Amy spill right now" I said with firmness.

I can't waste any more time.

We can send her to therapy but right now is not the time.

"In your room" She said looking at the floor.

"What? " Ask Kevin.

She looked at Kevin then to me. "In your room" She said looking at me.

"In Jack's bedroom? " Asked Kevin to confirm.

She nods.

"What? Why? " I ask nobody in general. Elijah won't spill it so easily. I will have to fish everything out of him.

"Can we bring Sam here first? " She asks.

I never thought Amy would know the why Sam is in my bedroom.

"Do you know what Sam is doing in my bedroom? " I ask.

She nods.

"Guard" Yell Kevin.

His head guard came running towards him.

"Check Jack's bedroom" He order.

But before guard could leave Amy spoke up. "NO" she yells.

We looked at her.

"H-He is... I mean... Jack..." She stutters as she turned bright red color.

"What is it? " I ask.

"Kevin and you should go,” she said looking at the floor.

"Why? " Ask Kevin.

"Is this some trick Amy? " I ask her angrily. I seriously have zero percentage trust on any one right now.

For god sake, this could be Elijah's some stupid plan to take me down, because he never made only one plan. He always had at least 10 backup plans ready if the first plan backfires.

"Don't shout at her," spoke Angel. And this is the first time I saw her speaking so boldly still politely.

"It's not a trick, please," she said looking at Kevin as tears stream down her eyes.

"Okay" I said.

"You" I said pointing at a guard, "open him up" I gesture to Elijah "and secure his hands on his back with handcuffs" I complete.

Angel got up from the ground and helped Amy to get up.

"Are you okay? " Ask Kevin looking at Angel's face for injuries.

"Yes," she Replied. "Max is in your room"

"Yes, guard informed me" Smiled Kevin.

As soon as Elijah was handcuffed, I ask two guards to drag him up behind us.

I walk ahead of all followed by Amy, Angel, then Kevin.

Elijah 5 feet behind us because Amy is terrified of him.

Various questions run in my mind as we walked.

Where is Crystal?

Was she really involved in all this? Or just dragged in the mess?

Where is Aarav?

I am sure he is innocent.

Where the hell is my Zoe?

God if anything happens to her, I will lose my mind.

We reach the door of my bedroom.

I look at Kevin, he nods assuringly at me.

All this suspense is eating me inside out.

I never liked suspense.

I don't even watch suspense movies and now look at my life.

Running around in suspense.

I open the door.

Eerie silence.

Entering the room, I saw everything was in its place.

The structure of my room was bit different than others.

I have a little open space followed by couches and TV set.

Then a wooden carved sliding door which lead into the real bedroom.

The sitting area was all clear.

I slowly walked inside the sitting area.

Not a single thing out of place.

I moved inside so that everyone can come inside.

"Sam!" Yells Amy at the top of her lungs.

A sound of some metal hitting the ground came from the actual bedroom I immediately open the sliding door and frantically looked inside.

The beaten and battered, body of Sam hanging from the wall near the balcony left me speechless.

Amy ran to him, hugging him tightly she whispered, "I am sorry "repeatedly Kevin and I immediately free him from the chains.

I pulled out shirt and trousers from my closet and hand it to him.

He slipped into them, we made him and Amy sit on the bed as Angel hands them some water.

" Are you okay? " Asks Amy holding Sam's arm.

He gulps down the water and nods at her.

He was clearly tortured like hell.

His smallest toe on his left leg was missing.

His raw neck showed how mercilessly he was tortured.

The whip marks on his back didn't go unnoticed.

He had lost a considerable amount of weight.

I remember how muscular he used to be and now a guy trapped in broken body.

His mind was still not broken.

Elijah started laughing at this sight.

Sam's eyes snap towards Elijah. He got up but immediately fell down with a thud.

Kevin helped him up again, we saw whip marks on the soul of his feet.

The blood still dripping down.

"Bastard" Yells Sam.

"How dare you touch my sister" He continue.

"I even fucked her," spat Elijah.

I made my way behind Elijah. I pushed him down so that he was kneeling in front of me.

Pulling his hands behind I pressed my knee on his back until I heard the sound of his shoulder dislocating.

I put more pressure resulting into breakage of few of his bones.

Elijah groaned out in pain.

I release him and he fell on the ground with a loud thump.

"Let's talk now," I said looking at Sam.

He moved in front of Amy in protecting manner.

"We won't hurt her," spoke angel.

"I don't trust you all," said Sam looking around the room.

Probably for an escape.

If I was Sam, I would also not trust anyone, at least not in this vulnerable position.

"We promise, we won't hurt Amy or you," said Angel taking a step towards Amy.

Amy hug Sam tightly.

"They won't hurt us," mumbles Amy.

We stood there in silence. Giving them some time for reunion.

Elijah pulled a serious toll on them.

Both of them looks so weak, especially Amy.

And Sam still protecting her, even in this state.

He is a true man.

"Did he rape you? " Asks Sam.

"He said"... Hiccup... "He will kill".... Loud sob.... " You".... "So, I allowed"... " Him" Said Amy.

My fist clench.

"When?” Asks Sam.

"Ye... Yes... Yesterday" Whispered Amy between her sobs but loud enough for us to listen.

"No one will touch you okay. I am here." He said holding Amy tightly to his chest.

Kevin whisper something in Angel's ear, she nods and walks to Amy.

"Let me clean her up," said Angel softly to Sam.

"Do you want to go? " Asked Sam to Amy.

Amy looked at me and started speaking, "Crystal and Aarav are in the cell where you kept Sam" she said.

I nod. I gesture one of the guards to bring them up here.

"Do you know anything else? " Ask Kevin.

"I will tell you." Said Sam, "Please clean her up and feed her something" He said looking at angel.

Angel smiled and walked out with Amy.

Amy, while walking out kicked Elijah between his legs and spat on him.

Angel quickly pulled Amy out of the room.

Once they were out, I looked at Sam who was glaring Elijah.

"What happened?" I ask.

Kevin made a small glass of whiskey and passed it to Sam.

Sam gulped it down in one go "He used to visit me in cells from the very starting. It was his idea to keep me in cell, wasn't it? " Spoke Sam.

I nod.

"He used to torture me by showing the video of him killing papa. He used to inject some drug in my body, which cause my whole body to burn in pain for hours"

"The food you used to send never reached me except for that girl. I don't know her, but she used to sneak food in my cell regularly." He said looking at Kevin.

"Angel" Mumble Kevin.

"One day Elijah found her outside my cell while she was pushing the food inside. He started yelling on her and told her that he will tell Kevin. I think he hit her too" He said.

Kevin's eyes widen at this.

"Hit her? " He asks furiously.

"Yes. I hit her" Spoke Elijah.

Kevin lounged towards him. Kevin started throwing punching on his abdomen.

We heard the crack of ribs.

I pulled him away.

"He is mine to kill," I yell.

"Like I will let you kill him!" Yelled Sam as he stood up.

The adrenaline in his body helped him get up and walk towards Elijah.

"You want us to get angry and kill you right now. " Spat Sam angrily, "you won't die so easily. I will rip your body apart before killing you"

"You rapped my sister and killed my father. " He yells and throw a punch on his face breaking his nose.

"You set the love of my life up with Jack," he yells.

"You tied me here so that she run away from Jack too," he spat followed by series of punches.

"He knew that you will be marrying Zoe today. He tied me here because he wanted Zoe to look at me in my worst." He spoke.

"Zoe would have thought you tortured me. His plan was to ruin your relationship with Zoe after he ruined mine." He said angrily.

"But his plan failed because I decided to clear this mess before marrying her," I confirmed.

"Exactly" He spat.

"Where is Zoe? " I ask Elijah pulling his hair.

"I don't know" He said.

"What do you mean? " I ask.

"She ran away after I kidnapped her" He said.

So, he decided to kidnap Zoe to hold her as leverage against me if his plan didn't work.

"Stop lying you bastard" I spat pushing my finger in the wound created by the bullet.

The bullet went deeper as I pushed my finger inside.

"Aaahhhhhhhhhhhh" Yell Elijah in pain.

"Kill him. He is of no use" Yell Sam.

"Tell me where is Zoe" I ask again.

"In the mansion. My guy is bringing her here" He spoke.

And now I know he is speaking truth.

I have tortured far more too many people so I know when a person is speaking truth or not.

"You time is up" I said pulling my knife out

All the events run in my head.

Tortured Sam.

The fearful eyes of Amy.

He raped her.

Kidnapping Zoe.

Shooting Riley.

The driver holding Zoe on gun point.

The lies.

The drama.

The betrayal.

He betrayed me.

My own brother betrayed me.

The only thing I wanted now is to kill him.

Everything ran in my head repeatedly.

I slowly, very slowly slit his stomach, just below his ribs.

He cried in pain, "please Jack. I am your brother. Please"

"Please Jack. I am sorry" He cried more.

He grabbed him by his collar and dragged him all the way out of the room, to the staircase and finally in the lounge where all of this started.

I picked his body and pushed him on the table. The same table where he whipped Amy.

The same table where he was planning to rape her in front of all me.

"Look what happens to the one who betrays." I yell pulling my sleeves back.

"You betrayed me" I whisper as I pushed my fingers inside the slit, I made few moments ago.

The only things audible to me right now are his cries and my loud thoughts.

"Kill me already" He yell in agony when my whole hand was inside his body.

He kidnapped Zoe.

He raped Amy.

He tortured Sam.

He killed Richard.

He lied.

He betrayed.

With each thought I pushed my hand up towards his heart.

"You killed Richard" I yell as I hold his heart in my hand.

"No" He plead

I looked him in his eyes and pulled his heart all the way out.

He looked at his heart in my hands in shock.

But his eyes went lifeless when someone shot him between his eyes.

I looked around to see Sam holding the gun.

I smiled at him proudly.

I looked at Kevin who was looking behind me, I scrunched my eyebrows and turned back.

The heart fell from my hand when I saw who the person was.

My girl stood there.

"Zoe" I whisper.

The love of my life, in wedding dress stood in front of me.
