Anger??

Avika gave tea to Samar. He sipped it and glared at her.

"Is anything wrong?"

"Nothing. Go and prepare dinner," Samar ordered to irritate Avika.

Avika nodded.

"From today you are going to do each and every work at home. I gave leave to the maids and until my anger goes off, you will do the works."

"Okay."

"I am getting headache. Come and massage my head with the pain-relieving balm," Samar said, as he wanted to sleep on her lap for a while.

"But you told me to prepare dinner."

"Do what I say. From now you are not supposed to ask any questions to me," Samar said, enjoying her irritation.

Avika got angry and murmured scolding him.

"Are scolding me, darling?"

"No, no," Avika said.

"Good! Don't dare to scold me. Otherwise I will do whatever I want. After all here there's no one to save you except me."

Avika smiled as she knew that he was her savior. She massaged his head slowly and Samar slept on her lap. Avika tried to go to prepare dinner but she felt not to disturb his sleep. Samar woke up after a while and saw Avika sleeping, leaning on to the bed. He noticed that he slept on her lap and Avika was sitting from a longtime.

"Avika," Samar shouted as he was worried seeing her like that. He didn't understand whether she slept or went unconscious.

Avika woke up frightening with his shouting.

"Is dinner ready?" Samar asked, confirming that she slept but didn't go unconscious.

"I thought to prepare but you slept on my lap. So, I didn't get up."

"Just answer to my question. No need to give the theories."

"No, it's not ready."

"Then why are you wasting the time. Go and prepare dinner," Samar said and Avika felt to laugh as his way of pretending anger is funny for her. She knows well that Samar loves her so much and he can never be angry with her for so long.

"From tomorrow I want everything to be ready on time without any excuses. Now you can go and do the work."

Avika prepared dinner and served him. Samar asked maids not to come until he calls them. They left and Samar gave her the paper which she wrote before leaving him.

"Read it louder," Samar said.

"But why?"

"I said to read it louder. Read the beautiful letter written by you," Samar said.

"I can't."

"You must read it," Samar said in an angry tone.

Avika read the letter. Her eyes filled with tears.

Anger and sorrow are the two biggest enemies that harm us and our relationships. In anger, we never know what we are saying and doing. Anger takes over our love for the person and it also has the power to kill the relationship and make us guilty forever, no matter what we did or do for them. Pain and guilt are something that make us unable to think and we do the things that shouldn't be done, assuming it gives the happiness to the other person. But pain can give only pain and anger can create only anger. Only love can create love and give happiness. If we can control our negative emotions and speak and do everything with love, whatever might be the situation or whoever might be the person, we will receive the ultimate blessing i.e. Love.

"I am sorry," Avika said.

"For what? You have expressed your feelings frankly. I appreciate that," Samar said.

"No, It's not true. I really love..."

"Shut up. Never say I love you to me ever from now. Stick to your true feelings. No need to say that to make me happy. Now give that paper to me."

Samar took it back. Both had their dinner. Samar asked her to come to the room and pasted the note to the wall.

"Why did you paste it on the wall?"

"You are going to read it every day."

"What?" Avika said.

"I will make you to read it every day. Until the ink on it fades, your punishment will be continued. All the best," Samar said smirking at her.

"I will throw it away," Avika said.

"Don't dare even to touch it without my permission. If you remove it, I will take the print out of it again as I have captured it on my mobile already."

Avika completed her works and came to their room. She didn't find Samar. She searched on the balcony, but couldn't see him there. She searched for him everywhere and finally, she found him sleeping in another bed room. She knocked the door. He opened the door, but didn't talk to him.

"Why are you sleeping here? I mean you should be in our room," Avika said and Samar serious look made her frightened.

"Are you going to decide what should I do?" Samar said and Avika didn't understand how to make him understand her fears.

"If you can do whatever you want, I think I can do whatever I want," Samar said.

In a relationship, differences may give the pain, but the true pain is avoidance and going away from each other. A soul that was hurt could only hurt its soul mate.

"I am sorry. Please understand me, Samar," Avika said.

"I don't want your sorry. From today, I am not going to come to that room. Now if you leave, I will sleep."

Avika eyes filled with tears and about to say something but he closed the door. Avika went to their room. She switched off the light and tried to sleep but she hallucinated hearing some kind of voices and laughs. Her past haunted her as she is all alone and her heart is sobbing. She thought to go to Samar but stopped remembering his words. She sat on the bed for some time, and after much mental struggle, she decided finally to take the sleeping pills. She switched on the light and took tablets from her bag. She was about to take the tablet but stopped hearing Samar's voice.

"What are you doing?"

Avika remembered his anger the last time for taking sleeping pills and immediately dropped tablets on the floor. Samar noticed it and came near to her.

"I asked you what are you doing?"

"I am unable to sleep. So, taking sleeping pills," Avika said, closing her eyes.

"Did you remember the past again?"

Avika nodded.

"Why don't you remember your past when I am with you?"

"I feel safe when I am with you," Avika said.

Samar felt happy to know his presence makes her feel safe and comfortable.

"Don't take sleeping pills again."

Avika nodded. Samar looked at her and wiped her tears away.

"Promise me that you will quit sleeping pills," Samar said.

"Yes, I Promise you. Can you please sleep here in our room?" Avika said and Samar nodded.

"Thank you."

"Even if you didn't ask, I would never leave you. I will be with you always. Don't worry. For a minute, I forgot about your condition and I left you alone. But as soon as I remembered about your struggle, I came to you. I won't leave you again. I am sorry," Samar thought to himself but as he wants to make Avika never leave him, he decided to pretend anger.

"Throw both your sorry and thanks in a dustbin. I want none. As I married you, you are my responsibility. That's the reason I have agreed to your request," Samar said.

They slept on the bed. Avika felt to hug Samar because of her fear but as she is unable to predict his reaction, she stopped and tried to sleep. She started moving on the bed restlessly. Samar understood that and pulled her to him. He made her to sleep on his chest. He hugged her and caressed her hairs.

"Now you can sleep peacefully."

Avika smiled and hugged him.

"Wake me up early and complete all the works on time. Good night for now," Samar said.

"Good night," Avika said and cuddled more into him.

Samar woke up and didn't find Avika on the bed. He got up from the bed at once and searched for her thinking she left again. He found Avika in the kitchen preparing breakfast and she looked at him.

"Good morning," Avika said.

"Good morning," Samar said, staring at her smiling face. Her smile is something that makes him happy and peaceful.

Avika arranged his clothes and accessories though he didn't ask her to do. She gave tea and served breakfast to him. Samar observed her being too careful in every work as she doesn't want to make him angry.

"Sit and you too have breakfast," Samar said.

Avika sat beside him and opened the bowl to have breakfast, but Samar stopped her.

"Baby, wait a minute. That's not what you are going to eat. Here is your special breakfast," Samar said and opened the lid giving Avika a shock.

"I can't eat this. Please forgive me," Avika said with a pout.

"From now on, everything will be decided by me. What you have to eat, what you will wear, when you will sleep, and when you will wake up—everything damn thing you must do as I say. Without my permission you are not supposed to do anything," Samar said to tease her, though he never likes to restrict or trouble Avika.

"Okay but how can someone eat boiled bitter gourd that too early in the morning?"

"Are you going to eat it or not?"

Samar said it very seriously. Avika closed her eyes and started eating. She ate five boiled bitter gourds which he asked her to eat.

"Good. Now go and get ready. From today, you are accompanying me to the office."

"Shall I come from tomorrow? I am a bit tired today with all the works."

"No. I can't leave you alone here. I don't trust you. You may plan to leave again. I have no patience to search again and again for you. Now go and get ready without any excuses."

Avika is getting ready and Samar came into the room. Samar looked at her while she is wearing a saree.

"Go outside. I will come within five minutes," Avika said pouting as his intense looks made her feel for him.

"I don't have any plan of going out."

Saying this Samar came near to her.

"Please go out," Avika said again.

Samar came near to her and touched her face. Avika closed her eyes blushing. Samar made her to wear sari and kissed her on the back. She hugged him.

"You always look so beautiful. I love you," Samar said, touching her lips.

"I love..."

"Stop it. Don't say that and I am not going to trust your words anymore. Come let's go to the office," Samar said suddenly becoming angry at her.

Avika got ready and both went to the office. Avika thought of leaving to her cabin.

"Where are you going?" Samar said.

"To my cabin," Avika said.

"No need. Sit in my room with me," Samar said.

She nodded and went to his room.

"Take these files and check them. Then prepare quotations for those. Complete all these by today evening before you leave to the home," Samar ordered.

Avika looked at him with a shock as he handed over a huge bundle of files.

"I am going out on some work. Before I come back, you must complete all the work and you shouldn't go out of my cabin. If you need anything, ask the office boy to get it for you."

He left and Avika started her work. Samar returned in the evening "Did you complete the work?"

"Not yet," Avika said.

"Ok, come home only after completing the work. Remember you have work at home too. I am leaving, bye."

Avika completed the work at 8 PM and went to the home. She found Samar watching TV and scolded him inwardly for making her work day and night.

"Are you not going to come inside?" Samar said seeing her standing outside and staring at him.

Avika went inside.

"Did you complete the work?"

"Yes," Avika said.

"Good. Go and prepare dinner. I am hungry," Samar said.

"After getting fresh up, I will prepare dinner," Avika said.

"I said go and prepare dinner. No arguments, did you understand?" Samar said raising his tone.

Avika got tears with his shouting. She immediately went to the kitchen and started preparing dinner. Samar went to her and saw her working. He hugged her from the back as he observed her crying.

"Are you crying?"

"No, Leave me, please. I have to prepare dinner."

"Don't say that again. I won't leave you and never allow you to leave me."

Samar placed soft and small kisses all over her back.

"For one month you are going to suffer in the same manner," Samar said playfully to tease her.

"One month?"

She shouted out loud, making him smile, but he controlled his face.

"First of all, I can't see you suffering even for one more day. Even if you are ready, I am not," Samar thought to himself.

"Yes, just one month," Samar said.

"Until one month won't you smile?" Avika asked, confusing him.

"Smile? I didn't get you."

"From yesterday I didn't see you smiling. I really want to see you smiling. Please smile once. I will do all the works as you said not for one month, but for lifetime. But I want to see you happy and the smile on your face," Avika said.

Samar left her and went off. Avika served him dinner. Both had their dinner. Avika came to the room and saw him waiting for her.

"What did you say just before in the kitchen?"

"I want you to smile," Avika said.

"Why? You don't love me. You have no feelings for me. Then why do you want to see me happy? You never care for me. Tell me, why do you want me to smile?" Samar said seriously.

"I wrote those words just to hurt you and make you hate me. But they are not true."

Samar turned away. Though he knew that she wrote that just to make him forget her, still as those words came from his beloved, he is unable to forget them. Words are powerful and words spoken by the people we love hurts us the most.

"Shut up. When you surprised me and told me that you loved me, I trusted you and felt I was the luckiest person to win your love. But you ruined everything. My trust, my love, everything. Now I don't know about you. But I don't love you. I hate you," Samar said to make her understand how much those words hurt him, but forget her psychological condition.

Avika was in shock hearing his words. His words hurt her as if someone squeezed her heart. She is unable to stop her tears. Samar realized what he said in anger and turned towards her but he didn't find her. He immediately went searching her and saw her going out of the house.

Samar went immediately and started his car searching for Avika. Samar's words echoed in her ears, while she was walking on the road with tears.

"I don't have anyone in this world except you, Samar. But now you also hate me. I don't want to live anymore. Maybe I don't deserve love of anyone. Until now I hurt everyone who loves me. Now I did the same with you. Only if I die everyone will be happy," Avika thought and walked in front of a car. Car came with such a speed to hit her. Fortunately at the right time, Samar saved her and pulled her towards him. He hugged her feeling relaxed as nothing happened to her.

"What are you doing? Can't you see the vehicle coming for you? What if something happens to you?"

"I can't live without your love. I love you. I forgot everything just because of your love. I know everyone hates me including my parents. If you also hate me, I have no reason to live. You are my only hope and reason to live," Avika said.

Samar hugged her and kissed her on the forehead.

"I am really sorry, Avika. In anger, those words came out. But I can never hate you. I love you. I love you no matter what happens. I am sorry."

"I really love you. I wrote those words to make you hate me, but really, I love you. Please trust me for one last time. I will never leave you again. I will face anything but won't leave you."

"I trust you. But if you leave me again, you can't see me alive. Come let's go."

Both went to the room. Both lied on the bed and Samar hugged her.

"I want to say something which no one knows until now. I said this to my dad but he didn't trust me. I don't know whether you will trust or not but..."

Samar kept finger on her lips.

"I trust you. Tell me," Samar said.

"Actually I didn't elope from my house to marry Jashwesh."

Samar looked at him in shock.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes. I thought that in the engagement I can talk with the bride groom and explain him that I love Jashwesh. But that night when I slept Jashwesh abducted me. Next morning I was shocked knowing that. He blackmailed me that if I didn't marry him, he will die. By that time, everyone believed that I eloped. I finally agreed to marry him. I never have any intention of going away from my family to marry him. I thought I can wait until they agree without marrying anyone."

Samar hugged her.

"Why didn't you say this to me until now?"

"I thought no one trusts me."

"I trust you. Now I will make your parents trust this truth.

Samar saw her hands and kissed them.

"Today these hands worked a lot. Do they hurt?"

"Little bit," Avika said.

"I'm sor—"

Avika placed her hand on his mouth.

"Please don't say sorry to me. I don't want to listen that from you. So if you get angry, you will be this rude, right?"

"Yes, but I won't get angry with you whatever you do except leaving me."

"I won't leave you even if you ask me to leave."

"In my life, I would never ask you to leave whatever happens."

"Samar, I want aunty and uncle to stay with us. I don't want them to stay away from us as we are there for them. Please request them to stay with us."

"I don't think this is right time for that. We can stay together when they accept you as their daughter-in-law."

"Maintaining distance can't make a relationship stronger. Someone should take a step forward to break the silence and enhance relationships. Let us take that step," Avika said, holding Samar's hand.

Samar kissed her hand.

"You are beautiful both in looks and in heart too. I love you."

"I love you too. So when shall we go to aunty and uncle?"

"In the morning."

"Thank you so much. I want to say one more thing too," Avika said.

"Come on. I think now you are punishing me with continuous talk," Samar said.

"What? Ok. I won't talk anything from now."

"I am sorry. My inner voice came out," Samar said teasing Avika.

Avika hit him pouting for his teasing.

"From now I won't say even a single word."

"Yes, you won't speak a word. You always speak in nonstop sentences. I think soon I will become deaf."

Avika looked at him seriously n turned another side. Samar slowly went near to her and kissed her ear.

"Ah, what are you doing?"

"You said you are not going to speak. Then why did you talk now."

Samar kissed her back.

"I am just teasing you, love. I love to listen your words. I feel bore and uneasy if you are calm. Tell me what you wanted to say."

"Actually yesterday when I left you, I remembered that I promised you I would never leave you. So I am coming back to you and you found me at that time."

Samar smiled and started kissing her. Soon they forgot the world being busy in their own world as they were in each other's arms.
