Chapter 68 Chapter Sixty Eight: Mini Skirt
Chapter 68 Chapter Sixty Eight: Mini Skirt
Adrian stared at Lior. The first thing he noticed was the skirt; the short dark-red fabric left most of Lior's thighs exposed above the tops of his black boots. Then there were the glossy pink lips, the slightly tousled hair, and the faint flush still lingering on his face from whatever fun he'd been having all evening.
He looked beautiful. Far too beautiful. And Adrian was painfully aware that he had spent the better part of the evening wondering where his Omega was and who was looking at him.
Lior tried to play it cool. “Hi…”
Adrian said nothing, but his gaze remained fixed on him.
Lior shifted awkwardly before clearing his throat. “Let me show Jay to the guest bedroom first.”
Before Adrian could respond, Lior placed both hands on Jay's shoulders and guided him toward the stairs.
Adrian watched them disappear. He exhaled slowly. He wasn't angry. At least, he didn't think he was.
Jealous, perhaps.
But anger wasn't what he wanted to give Lior.
Still… Aiden, his own brother, seeing Lior in that skirt didn't sit well with Adrian. He knows Aiden and Anne are interested in Lior, Anne told him.
Adrian rubbed a hand over his face.
He needed to calm down.
_________
Lior closed the guest bedroom door behind them and immediately released a long sigh.
“The way he was staring at me, my God. I— my legs almost started shaking.”
Jay dropped his bag beside the bed. “He looked angry.”
“I don't think he is.” Lior glanced toward the door. “He's probably just worried I stayed out this late.” He smiled sheepishly. “Anyway, I'm sorry you don't get to cuddle me tonight.”
Jay stared at him. “Cuddling you is the least of my worries right now, Lior, a jealous Alpha is—.”
Lior's smile faded slightly, and he cut Jay off. “Adrian is not the monster you think he is. Please don't be so worried. And have a good night's sleep.”
Jay sighed and dropped onto the bed. “Good night.”
“Good night.”
Lior left the room.
He checked the staircase before heading down the hall.
Adrian was gone.
Lior swallowed. Then he headed toward their bedroom.
He pushed the bedroom door open.
Adrian stood before the enormous window, his back turned to him. The curtains had been pulled aside, leaving the shimmering lake visible beyond the glass.
Lior quietly closed the door.
Adrian turned. The intensity in his eyes made Lior's stomach flutter.
“Where have you been?”
“I went out with Aiden.”
“It's past midnight, Lior. And Aiden didn't let you answer my calls?”
“I’m sorry, my phone was on silent. We went bowling after dinner, and we lost track of time. I didn't intend to stay out this late.”
Adrian's eyes traveled over him again. “You went out to dinner and bowling with an Alpha, dressed like that.”
Lior looked down at himself. “Is there anything wrong with the way I'm dressed? And Aiden isn't some random Alpha. He's your brother, and my friend too.”
Adrian crossed the room.
He stopped in front of Lior and placed his hands around the Omega's waist, drawing him closer. His touch moved briefly over Lior's exposed thigh before he gave it a spank.
Lior gasped.
“I've told you before,” Adrian murmured. “I don't like it when you're too friendly with any Alpha. My brother or not.”
He gave the other thigh another spank.
“I've never seen you in a skirt before, but you wore one for another Alpha.”
“No.” Lior shook his head. “I wore it for myself.”
Adrian raised an eyebrow.
“I've always liked skirts,” Lior continued. “I just wasn't bold enough to wear one until I saw your secretary in that tight skirt, leaning into you with her boobs practically hanging out.”
Adrian stared at him.
Then he squeezed Lior's thighs gently. “So you were jealous. And decided to make me jealous too.”
Lior nodded. “I'm an overthinker. I thought you were being taken away from me.” His voice softened. “Or maybe you two had been a thing before me. She was the person closest to you before I started working as your assistant.”
Adrian's expression softened. He looked at Lior for a long moment, as though trying to understand how such thoughts had managed to occupy his mind.
“There's quite a lot going on in that pretty little head of yours.” He brushed a thumb along Lior's cheek. “If only you knew how much space you've occupied in me.”
Then he pulled Lior into a possessive kiss, his lips crashing against the Omega's with a hunger that spoke of suppressed desire. The kiss was deep and demanding, a claim of ownership that left Lior breathless.
As they melted into each other, Adrian’s large hands slid down from Lior's waist, gripping the curves of his ass through the fabric of the mini skirt. He kneaded the soft flesh firmly, squeezing and pulling Lior flush against his hard frame, causing the Omega to let out a muffled, needy moan right into the Alpha's mouth.
Lior, overwhelmed by the sudden intensity, tried to pull away for a breath, but Adrian wasn't done yet. He gripped Lior’s nape, pulling him back in with a low growl, sucking and eating at Lior’s mouth as if he were starving and Lior was the only thing that could satisfy him. The kiss was frantic, wet, and heavy with the scent of dominant Alpha pheromones that began to cloud Lior's mind.
Gasping for air, Lior managed to break the seal of their lips, his chest heaving. “I uhh... I should freshen up first, and change into my sleepwear,” he whispered, his voice trembling.
Adrian’s eyes darkened, his gaze sweeping over the exposed skin of Lior's thighs and the way the red fabric hugged his hips.
“No,” Adrian said, his voice a low, vibrating rumble. “You're keeping the skirt on for me.”
