Her Attempt
"Jennifer" Madam Carolina called when she noticed how down she was
"Mum" she replied
"Why the sad face?" She asked
"Mum I'm scared, what if Michael forces words out of my mouth just like last time?" She said
"He won't, trust me and trust your mother in-law" Madam Carolina replied
"What mother inlaw, It's not even working and you just won't get it ' she yelled and ran upstairs
Madam Carolina smoked and drank as usual in her living room, thinking about what Michael said
"He might force words out of Jennifer's mouth, Really?" Madam Carolina thought
"What to do? "She asked herself
"If Jennifer should say a word, then it's finished" she thought again
"Wouldn't it sound too diabolical to kill a friend's daughter? Well that seems to be the only solution for me not to get caught. But Gold's body that was not found is making me feel somehow, is she not dead? " Madam Carolina thought.
Wilson sat beside the window in his room, holding unto the teddy he got for Gold on Valentine's day. He got it for her so she'll stare at it whenever she misses him but it has become the other way round right now.
He kissed the bear and smiled sadly.
"Baby where are you, I miss you a lot, just let me see you please" he said, crying and his tears fell on the teddy which he quickly wiped it
"Gold please come back to me, I love you so much" he said, shedding more tears but the sound of Michael knocking at the door jilted him back alive
"Wilson you're crying again" he said
"Michael just leave me alone" he replied
"Bro crying is not the best" Julius said but Wilson kept mute and continued crying then Michael looked at Julius.
"Stay here with him please, I need to go somewhere" Michael said, going out of the house and he drove straight to Jennifer's house and he met her just outside the house.
"Michael" she called shakily, standing on her tracks
"One move and you're dead" Michael said, moving closer to her and she stood fearfully, not moving an inch
"You know what Madam Carolina did right? or probably you did it together" he said standing in front of her.
"No I don't" Jennifer replied stammering
"Stop stammering and talk before I snap life out of your lungs" He yelled
"She and... and I.." But Michael didn't allow her finish what she was saying before grabbing her by the neck just like last time and pinned her to a car
"Talk" He ordered tightening his grip on her neck and tears voluntarily came out of her eyes like she was going to die in the next minute
"I'll... I'll .. I'll tell you everything" she said stammering then he let her go while she began to cough
"What the hell do you think you're doing Michael!" Madam Hilda interrupted coming out of the house and Michael shot her a deadly glare while Jennifer was still coughing and her mother helped her up.
"How could you be so wicked to the point of doing this to my daughter" Hilda said feigning anger but
Michael kept mute because if he decides to talk, then his hands will move faster than his mouth and he might end up killing the both of them.
"Maybe another day" Michael said and got into his car and drove off
Madam Carolina was having dinner when Hilda's call came on her phone and she picked
"Hey friend" Carolina greeted......
"Carolina, you need to see what Michael your son did to my daughter today, he almost forced words out of her throat by choking her, she almost talked if not that I intervened" Hilda said and Madam Carolina stood up in shock
"What" Madam Carolina asked
"Just don't worry, the secret is still safe" Hilda said
"You know what, tell Jennifer to see me in my house tommorow" Madam Carolina said before hanging up.
"I have to move fast" she thought.
The next day, Rita came into the house with two pack of noodles and one juice, she successfully took it out of a store and luckily she wasn't caught.
She dropped them on the table and tears came out of her eyes
"I hate living like this, no one even wants to offer me a job, am I cursed? ' she thought wiping the tears
"Yes I'm cursed" she said sitting down and looked inside the wallet she has with her. Michael's wallet, the one she stole from him at the bar then she smiled when she remembered that night.
"I wonder what he'll think of me now, he helped me and I ended up magneting him" Rita thought.
The wallet is now empty, she payed a month rent for the house they're in already.
She has been eating with it as well and buying other necessities but it got exhausted yesterday and she has no choice but to start her magnet job again.
She stood and went to the kitchen to prepare the noodles she magneted.
That same day Jennifer went to Madam Carolina's mansion and she was already waiting for her.
"Daughter in-law, your mum told me everything and I'm sorry, I'll teach Michael a lesson" she said, guiding Jennifer to sit.
"My neck still hurts" Jennifer said in a crooked voice
"Even your voice too. I'm so sorry" Madam Carolina replied, sitting beside her and Jennifer coughed lightly.
"I'll get you something good for your throat" Madam Carolina said and stood up. She walked to the cellar and poured wine into two cups but added a powdered substance to the one meant for Jennifer then she came back with it and handed it to Jennifer who collected it and drank without suspecting anything.
"You know people are dangerous" Madam Carolina said
"Yes, a lot" Jennifer replied
"What about me, do you feel like I'm dangerous?" Madam Carolina asked.
"Yes you're very dangerous" Jennifer replied
"I'm Glad to know you're aware of that, and I'm wicked as well" she replied
"What?" Jennifer exclaimed.
"Yes I'm wicked, and I'm not sorry for showing you wickedness because you might implicate me. I told you I dislike people getting on my way and being a hindrance" Madam Carolina said, standing up and Jennifer felt a sharp pain in her stomach
"Oh" she whimpered, holding her tummy
"I'm not sorry, safe journey to hell for almost spilling my secret" Madam Carolina said with a wicked smile.
"My tummy oh my God" Jennifer screamed in agony as the poison ate deep into her intestines.
"Your intestines should be in pieces by now and it's time to die" Madam Carolina said when Jennifer began to bleed from the mouth and nose.
She fell from the couch and landed on the floor with her blood staining the floor in the process.
