Your Presence

She touched his laptop and smiled "I wonder why he's not here" she thought.

So she went out and carried her phone and dialled his number but he wasn't responding. After several trials, she kept her phone looking bothered

"I just hope he's fine wherever he is?" Gold prayed

Instantly, Janet walked into the office.

"I knew you were still going to come. you're nothing but a workaholic" Janet said with a glare but Gold laughed.

" I know right? I just can't stay at home idle" she replied

"Have you eaten?"

"Not yet" Gold replied

"Then let's go get something to eat" Janet said, pulling her up

"Wait Jane, what about your boss" Gold said

"Well, he left early, and he was a bit restless, maybe a fight transpired between the brothers" Janet said

" I'm worried about Wilson" Gold said and her eyes widened. Realizing what she said, she covered her mouth

"No I meant boss" she immediately corrected but Janet chuckled

" Don't worry about that, because it wull soon be the case anyways" Janet said dragging her out

At night, Wilson rolled from one side the bed to another He has been like that since morning. The headache has subsided but he was very tired to lift a finger Even when his phone rang, he had no strength to pick.

After taking a deep breath, he said to himself

"I'm not prepared to die yet because I still have a lot to say tell someone"

He mustered all the strength in him and carried his phone from the table and saw that he has twelve missed calls from Gold"

"Damn" he muttered before dialling her number and she responded at the first ring

"Boss, I've been worried you've not been taking your calls and not responding to your texts is everything ok with you?" Gold aaked

"Gold, can you please come over to my house? I'm weak and I think I need someone to be with me" Wilson said weakly

"Ok sir. Your address please" Gold asked quickly

"Ogbuehi Avenue mansion 11" Wilson replied and Gold hung up Immediately.

Gold got to the address and her eyes widened

"It's huge well I don't expect less from a billionaire" she said while accessing the environment. There were more than ten exotic cars and most of it was white even the mansion was painted white

"Maybe white is his colour, he looks good in it anyways" she thought before ringing the doorbell which was opened by one of the maids.

"Gold" she said with a smile

She was ushered in and she smiled at the sight

"Boss is upstairs, first room by your right. Please take proper care of him because he refused us coming closer to him or take him to the hospital" one of the maids said

" Hospital? is it that bad?" Gold asked.

"Just go to him quickly, please" the other maid replied

Gold immediately rushed upstairs by then, the time was already some minutes to nine and everywhere was dark already. When she got to the room, she opened the door to the first room and truly saw him lying on the bed weakly

"Boss!" Gold called running to kneel beside him on his bed then he opened his eyes and smiled when he saw her

"You're here" he said, feeling very happy.

"Why didn't you permit your maids take you to the hospital, have you eaten? How exactly are you feeling? You don't look good at all, how can you let it get this bad" Gold asked but Wilson smiled.

" Why does it feel good to hear you complain" He asked

"Hmmm let quickly fix something for you to eat" Gold said

"Don't bother because I'm not hungry" he replied

"Then let me take you to the hospital" she said, feeling his temperature

"I don't want to go to the hospital either" he replied

"But your temperature is high" she said

" I actually dislike the smell of hospitals" he responded staring at her as she bit her lip making his heart race. She decided to bring a damp towel to place on his forehead but he also rejected that. Finally she sighted his drugs on the table and got off the bed to get it but Wilson held her hand in a firm manner

"What's the problem?" She asked

"Gold, can you be my medicine tonight?" He requested emotionally

"What?" Gold asked confusedly

"Your presence here is the reason why I have the strength to talk, please don't go away" Wilson said then immediately, he pulled her to himself on the bed and she descended on top of him with widened eyes too shocked as their faces were just an inch away from each other so Gold began to breathe intensely and she blinked like a doll repeatedly.

"I'm sorry about what's about to happen but i can't help it anymore" Wilson said coming close to Gold then he covered her lips with his lips in a deep kiss

Gold hasn't gotten over the first shock and now this?

Her eyes remained opened as she watched him devour her lips because she was too shocked to reciprocate

"Boss" her heart screamed

Wilson bit her lower lip slightly in order for her to open up thereby granting him access to her mouth

She noticed her eyes began to close and her body welcomed the kiss as Wilson sucked on her tongue desperately, resting his hands on her hips

"Wait" She thought, suddenly coming back to her senses

She disengaged the kiss forcefully, got up from the bed and ran out of the room.

Gold closed the door behind her after rushing out. She stayed behind the door looking restless and also surprised as she held her chest that was racing non stop

"What just happened in there? my boss just kissed me as in Mr Wilson ?" She wondered shockingly

The door immediately opened revealing Wilson. She made an attempt to talk but the words refused to form so she began to stammer until Wilson came closer to her. She started moving backwards untill she was at the end of the wall before Wilson came in front of her, staring at her .

"B...boss....I'm....

He quickly placed his finger on her soft lips and she kept mute

"I'm sorry about that" he said sincerely

"What?"

"I'm sorry" he said again, removing his hand from her lips and she looked down

"It's ok" she replied still not recovering from the shock then he engulf her instantly into a tight embrace where she almost ran out of breath

"I'm sorry about this too but it's actually what I want to do. Five minutes will be ok so please stay calm" Wilson said slowly

"But why?" Gold found herself asking

" Maybe I just want to do it" he replied

She never talked again after that, she stood still and just counted the minutes

Till a maid came upstairs and interrupted

"Oh I'm sorry!" She quickly said as Wilson broke the hug as the maid rushed downstairs

"You may not want to believe it but I'm fine now" he said with a smile

"It can't be" Gold responded

" Feel my temperature" he said, bringing his head closer as she felt his forehead with the back of her palm and his temperature was back to normal

"How did it happen so fast?" Gold asked

"You don't understand the healing power you carry when it comes to me" Wilson said

She sighed and checked the time

" What!, Twenty minutes to nine" she said surprisingly

"Time moves fast" he said

"I should be on my way now since you're fine" she said

He nodded

"I'll take you home" he said

" No I'll just...

"I refuse no for an answer" he interrupted

"Oh Ok" she replied slowly then he held her hand, leading her out still adding to her shock. The two maids waved at her as they passed by them at the living room

"Wait" she said

"What?" He replied, looking back at her

"Should I prepare something for you?" She asked and he smiled

"Will you?"

She nodded

"I'll be done in thirty minutes time" she said and the maids showed her to the kitchen while Wilson sat on one of the couch in the living room with a big smile on his face

He kept touching his lips whenever he remembers the kiss

"What are you preparing?' the maids asked Gold while in the kitchen

"Cavato twist" she replied and they gave her the ingredients she needed while she started began cooking with seriousness

Some minutes later, it was ready so she set the dinning table and called him to come and eat

Wilson sat and kept sniffing.

"How appetizing" he said staring at her

"Sit" he said

She obeyed and sat on the chair next to him

He tasted the meal and his eyes showed how delicious it was

"Is it bad?" She asked

"If it is, then I won't be smiling, it's the best I've ever had Gold, it's yummy" he said taking another bite

"I'm glad you like it" she said.

" I don't like it, I love it, and by the way, why don't we eat together" he said.

" Sir?

"Eat with me" he requested looking at her

"I'm satisfied Sir" Gold lied because she has not had dinner

"Not when its visible on your face that you're lying" Wilson said

"If you insist Sir i'll just have a bite" Gold said carrying a fork as she digged in and took a bite before dropping the fork.
