I got Jojo out of bed and had her in the living room on the coach after today she was exhausted it was clear on her face. What was also clear was why she didn’t eat all her food in The Hamptons she wasn’t use to it and was basically banned from eating anything else. The doorbell rang and then the waiter announced himself “Room service” Jojo wanted to get up “No you stay right there.” I ordered a few other things as well like onion rings and ice cream. I pushed the trolley to where Jojo was sitting and lift the lit very dramatically “Tada!” I said as I lift the lit. “Oh, it smells delicious.” “Well then let’s eat.” I couldn’t eat not before she took her first bite, I could see the steak was soft and done perfectly. “Oh my God this is delicious.” I took my bite and said. “It is right.” She took another bite as I put an onion ring in her plate, after she swallowed, she asked “What’s that?” “An onion ring just taste it.” She took the onion ring with her hand and tasted it. “Oh yes this is delicious.” “I’m happy you approved.”
We ate in silence the rest of the time just Jojo moaning when she took a bite, I could see she was not going to make it, and finish her food but I was happy with the amount she has eaten. And just as my thought left me, she put her knife and fork down and said “I can’t anymore.” “You did good.” I said smiling at her. “Honestly I would love to finish it but I just don’t have space.” “I’ll take you for a steak dinner before I leave Orlando.” Fuck I shouldn’t have said that her whole face dropped again. “I’m sorry angel.” “No need to be sorry that’s a reality I didn’t even started to look for places.” “Well lucky for you my friend that is giving you the job has been looking.” “You remember I can’t afford a lot, right?” “Yes, angel but I wish you will let me help you just until you are on your feet.” “I can’t Benji I need to rip the band aid and go on with my life I can’t depend on you soon enough you will have another woman.” “Don’t say that.” I was immediately upset with her for even implying that I will get over her so soon. “I’m not bad mouthing you Benji please don’t think that, it’s just a fact your mother already has someone in mind for you, you think she’s going to stop?” I thought about it for a second because I already knew the answer “No she will not.” “Well then see, you’ll find someone else and then you have to care for her you can’t care for me then.” “But I’m not with anyone now I can help.” “You taking me and helping me settle in and getting me a job is more than I could ever ask for.” I pushed the table away and kissed her I took her cheeks in my hands and kissed her; it ended with me on top of her we couldn’t keep our hands off each other but I knew she was emotional and I didn’t want to take advantage so I gave her another kiss and got off the coach.
