I felt two arms coming around my neck, I could smell her, I grabbed her and pulled her onto my lap. “What are we going to do angel?” “You are going to leave me and you are going to safe your company.” “Angel no, I love you.” She looked at me in shock; she said it but I haven’t said it back yet. “I love you to. “We can still run away together.” I was brutally honest about that; I would run away with her. I wiped the tears that was still streaming down my face. “It’s okay Benji it wasn’t your mistake.” “No but he did it because of me.” “I should have said no Benji.” “I know him angel he wouldn’t have taken no for an answer so please stop blaming yourself.” “It’s hard not to I mean he is the reason we are where we are now.” “Let’s stop talking about him, I can help you if you want to, I have money as well Jojo.” “No, I can’t let you do that.” “Please let me help you get an apartment, let me go with you and help you get something started, I have a friend that owns a hotel maybe you can be a bartender while you look for work at an attorney firm.” “You think he would help?” “Well, if I’m with you, he won’t have a choice than to say yes will he.” “Probable.” I was starting to get a headache but not any old headache a migraine of all things and now that I’m pregnant what will I be able to take. “I’m not feeling good Benji my head is killing me.” He swept me off my feet and carried me to the bedroom. “I’ll go and get you something.” “Thank you.” I said as he put me into bed. I know it was from all the crying and here I am crying again, I’m never ever going to find a man that is as good to me like Benji is, I fucked up royally. I know I need to go home and face the music but I didn’t want to I wanted to go in get my stuff and leave without a word if God will let that happen that is another story.
My eyes where closed when Benji walked into the room “You awake?” He asked softly. “I am.” “Suzie said you can take this it won’t hurt the baby.” “Thank you.” I took the pills and swallowed them. He disappeared and came back with a wet cloth. Putting it on my head then he got into bed next to me he pulled me to him and made me lay with my head on his chest. He was playing with my hair very softly while trying to set my mind at ease. “I’m going to help you to get settled in Orlando angel if that is the last thing I can do for you I will I promise.” I didn’t have the energy to answer him I just fell asleep.

Jojo was already sleeping I looked at the time and decided to phone John and old friend of mine, his parents are in the hospitality business. His phone rang twice before he answered “Benji how nice to hear from you.” “Hi John wish it was under better circumstances.” “What do you mean?” “I need a favor.” “Ask away.” “I need a job for the girl I was suppose to marry.” Everyone knows about this. “Wait why?” “She made a mistake John she slept with Morne he persuades her because of me he wanted to get back at me. He got her pregnant.” “Oh, fuck and now?” “I said I would raise the child as my own but my parents don’t want to hear about it and her parents are disowning her and throwing her out of the house.” “How old is she?” “24 like us.” “Then why throw her out it’s not a scandal anymore.” “According to them it is and she doesn’t want me to leave my father’s business which is also in the shit.” “Fuck man, are you bringing her to Orlando?” “Yes, that’s the plan.” “Okay I’ll give her a job; bar maid and I can get her a place to stay.” “It can’t be fancy John she wants to do this on her own, which means we need to help her without her knowing it.” “I’ll do my best.” “Thanks John.”
