Left alone

Left alone

I lowered my hand down on the piece of paper and slowly began to write my name down. The pen trembled in my grasp, the ink sliding across the paper with an eerie finality. "Good boy," they both whispered, their voices like a soft curse wrapping around my ears.

The moment the last stroke of my name was complete, I dropped the pen and paper instinctively, as though touching them any longer would burn me. The items disappeared instantly, vanishing like smoke in the air—like they were never real to begin with. Before I could even register what had just happened, both of their lips attached to my sensitive neck, warm mouths meeting vulnerable skin.

I let out a soft moan from the pleasure I was suddenly receiving. The sensations overwhelmed me, washing away the fear for just a fleeting moment. I liked their kisses and praises more than I knew I should, and it scared me—terrified me, actually. This shouldn’t feel good. This shouldn’t make me melt. And yet…

"When will I be able to go out of this room?" I asked, my voice breathy and uncertain, causing Xavier to stop kissing my neck. His pause alone was enough to send dread slithering back into my stomach.

"I don't know," he replied smoothly. "I'm not sure I even want you going out."

My eyes widened by his words, disbelief crashing into me like a wave. I could feel tears and anger start to brew deep in my chest, bubbling up fast. "W-what??" I stammered, panic taking over. I jerked myself off of them the best I could, twisting and writhing in desperation until their grips tightened like manacles, forcing me down again.

The tears had already made their way down my face, which angered me further. I rarely ever cried over anything, but since I've been locked up here with them all I've done is cry. Pathetic. Weak. Not like me at all. I started breathing heavier, the air refusing to move right in my lungs—and that's when Winston brought me in against his chest, his arms wrapping around me like chains made of warmth.

"He doesn't mean it. We've already set up a time for you to see your parents," Winston assured, his voice softer now, almost soothing. His words made me calm down despite myself, like some part of me still wanted to believe in kindness. I sat there quietly, focusing on regulating my breathing, inhaling and exhaling in controlled rhythm for a good amount of time before I suddenly jumped back up, something clicking in my brain.

"Wait—what do you mean you were already planning on it!? So that means I signed that for no reason??" I yelled, fury boiling over. My voice echoed off the walls as I worked myself back up, heart hammering in betrayal. Both of them just grinned without saying anything, their silence speaking louder than words ever could.

I couldn't believe I just got played like that, and I let them know it too. My face scrunched up in frustration as I whipped my head away from them, no longer able to stand the sight of those smug expressions. Chuckles escaped from both of them in return, like my anger amused them.

"Go away," I said stubbornly, voice laced with venom and wounded pride.

Winston gently grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at him, and I hated how easily I gave in. "We will never leave you alone, kitten," he said, and there was no mistaking the promise in his tone. "We may not always physically be with you, but I can assure you we will always be with you, maybe just in other circumstances."

I knew they were crazy, but I still wasn't sure if I truly knew how crazy they really were. The layers of madness seemed endless, like a spiral pulling me deeper each day. I began moving away from the two, slowly pulling myself up onto my bed while they stood up themselves, watching me like I was something precious and breakable. I positioned myself comfortably as I watched them walk up to the door and step out, their presence finally leaving the room.

I heard a click—subtle but undeniable—which I was guessing came from them locking the door again. But I didn't care much, because I was in no shape to be trying to escape. Not tonight. I shut my eyes and snuggled up with the fluffy blankets and soft clothes, letting their warmth cocoon me. I soon fell asleep, exhaustion dragging me under like a tide.

I was sleeping peacefully until I was woken up by a sound at the door, followed by a person walking in. My eyes were still blurry from my sleep, lids heavy and reluctant, but they adjusted rather quickly to the soft light of the room.

My nostrils were hit with two strong scents. One was a scent that I knew best—Winston's. Comforting in a twisted, possessive way. The other scent was different. Foreign, yet enticing. Food.

I raised my head up and quickly sat up, reaching my arms out for him with a silent urgency, receiving a smile in return. He walked up and sat beside me, pulling me closer by my waist like I was the most natural thing in the world to hold.

"Are you hungry?" he asked, and I immediately nodded, stomach answering for me. I reached out to grab the food, eyes locking onto the plate with longing.

To my surprise, he snatched the plate back, leaving my attempt to grab the plate a fail. I looked up at him and tilted my head, both confused and a little hurt. He smiled, a little teasingly, grabbing a piece of the rather raw chicken and lifted it up to my lips for me to take.

At first I looked at him like he was crazy—like he’d finally crossed a line—but I eventually just gave in without a fight, grabbing the piece with my mouth and eating it. Something about the moment felt primal, animalistic, but also…intimate. This went on until all of the food was gone, each bite fed to me like I was something to be pampered or tamed.

I licked my lips before leaning up and kissing him right on the lips, rather impulsively. I didn’t even think. I just did it.

I could tell he was surprised and taken back by it, but he didn't take any time to pull me in closer, holding me against him like he’d been waiting for it. Both of our tongues fought for dominance, clashing and dancing in a chaotic rhythm—and surprisingly this time, he let me win.

I was very proud of myself and couldn't help but smile into the kiss, the victory swelling in my chest like sunshine. And Winston took that as the chance to gain his dominance back, not about to let me enjoy my little win for too long.

I let him take full control, letting him push me under him. A few moans had escaped me without permission, which I could tell turned him on, due to the bulge I felt against me between his legs. I began grinding myself against him while he was still on top of me, busy devouring my mouth like he wanted to consume me whole.

I started to get very needy, craving his touch, needing it like oxygen—but as soon as that happened, he suddenly stopped, leaving me whimpering in confusion and frustration. My body trembled under him as I looked up, puzzled, while he got up off of me.

He then smiled—awfully evilly—before picking up the plate off of the floor and making his way back to the door. The chill in his smile sent shivers racing down my spine. I didn't know why he was suddenly acting like this. It made me feel a certain way that I couldn't quite describe. Hollow. Hungry. Left behind.

His head turned my direction one more time before he walked out of the door, closing it behind him.

Click.

And just like that, I was confused and horny, all alone.
