THIRD PERSON POV
Dylan was his name, the man that arranged the heist, a low-level rogue. They had just entered their hideout properly. Making sure to secure and guard the door, they were celebrating and jubilating over their successful heist.
The best of liquors and finest of wines were presented before Dylan, women danced to entertain them and they laughed at how seductive the half dressed women danced.
Their laughter dies as they spot a shadowy figure in the dark seated at an extreme end. He seemed to have been here for a while, watching and observing their every move.
The man’s aura crackles with primal Alpha energy, there was no doubt he was one, a true blood Alpha.
His eyes glowing crimson.
There was a smirk on Dylan's face as he towers towards the mysterious man.
“Alpha, we made the heist.” Dylan bragged.
“I see..” he replied. “You were so blinded by the heist that you had forgotten the initial plan?” The man asked.
“I had done according to your instructions Alpha. The moment the waiter bumped into her, I personally exchanged her glass.” Dylan explained.
The man seemed to grow angry hearing what Dylan had to say, he walked closer, grabbing Dylan by his neck and growling.
The crew members tried to defend their master but Dylan signalled them to keep their weapons low.
“How then is she alive!” The mystery man asked.
“Sir, that can't be true, I emptied…” he was still trying to talk when the man growled again, his eyes red like that of a blood sucking demon.
“I gave you one task, exchange her glass at the exact moment Claudia is doing the same. Kill the girl and let Claudia be seen as the culprit so that on one will come after us!” He yelled.
“I had done exactly that, I personally made sure the poison glass got to her before Claudia’s glass did. I even emptied the entire bottle of poison into the cup and I stood from afar and watched her gulp down the entire glass.” Dylan explained further.
“If that is true then how is she still alive?!” The man yelled. His tone is thunderous and dangerous. No one dared to move and inch.
“I'm sorry Alpha, I'll find her and terminate her immediately.” Dylan pleaded but the look on the man's face didn't flinch, he had other motives, unknown and dark.
“There's no need for that, since you couldn't get the task done, I'll do it myself.” He said and smashed Dylan onto the gravel floor.
Dylan’s crew tries to act tough and defensive of their leader but the Alpha’s mere presence paralyzes them.
“Cute little mutts,” he growls, flexing his claws that had partially transformed.
“Why don't we start with you first.” He sneered, fully transforming into his beasty wolf form.
The mysterious Alpha slaughters the rogues effortlessly, their screams and agony seemed to give him just the right amount of strength he needed.
Dylan on the other side was bleeding out against a wall.
He gasped for air, seeking for an escape route he crawled towards the door, his progress slow yet steady but how far would he get before the Alpha gets hold of him!
the Alpha rifles through the other member’s corpses, picking up a phone, hands bloody, claws still not retracted and dials some unknown person saying,
“Well, I've found us a new hideout and some flashy toys while we search for you know what.”
The man hangs up the call saying, “I'll meet up soon, I still have some unfinished business.”
Dylan’s vision is blurry but he can still see the Alpha's shadow behind him. He begs for mercy as the Alpha got closer and without another thought, Alpha smashed Dylan's head with his boot.
“That's the consequence of not carrying out my instruction.” He spat and walked out.
The entire place fell silent, like a graveyard.
Of course it had tuned to one!
ALEXANDER'S POV
I stared at the location of the hideout. If I'm correct then that means I'm standing right at the entrance.
I had no guards on me, no brothers to aid my mission but somehow I was confident that nothing could go wrong.
Just then my phone rings again and I sigh on realizing it was Adrian.
Who else could it be, I chuckled. After a short while of thought, I picked up the call.
“Aii, what's up?” I asked, in a bid to hang up and pry into the building.
“Where the fuck are you Alex?” Adrian asked.
“None of your business.” I say dismissive.
“The tracker says you're in some sort of remote area. Why are you entering a deserted place filled with containers and harmful things?” Arnold asked.
Fuck! Tracker! Couldn't I have my own privacy!!!
“So you put a tracker on me? That's absurd!” I lament.
“Say what you want, but we are on our way.” Adrian snorted and just then, they hung up the call.
I let out a long breath, and walked into their hideout, but there was something different, something scary about this place and just then, I perceived blood…
I silently walked into the field and that was when I saw horror. Dead bodies of people laying all over the floor. I observed the bodies carefully and was stunned to realise one of the bodies lying helpless on the floor was none other than the leader of rogues who had attacked the Charity ball with his crew.
I almost threw up, never had I seen so many large numbers of dead people. Whoever had done this was a brutal assassin and there was certainly more to this heist that it meant the eyes.
I had to leave here, and fast!
I'm about to make my way out when I hear footsteps from afar. I quickly hide at the back of a container, curious to know who was still left behind. Was it a rogue that managed to escape alive or the killer himself?
I thought to myself.
The strange figure revealed himself, a dagger on his hand as he walked around in search of something, could it be he had sensed my presence?
As he turned, facing the only source of light that managed to penetrate into the space I saw something that took my breath away, something that made my feets turn cold and I felt my breathing rate increase. I gasped for air but the entire space seemed to choke me.
I had recognised the chain that was around his neck, it belonged to Brianna. I had given it to her during her last birthday.
