I didn't cheat!
CHAPTER 14

I pry my eyes open as the light rays pierced through my lens, causing a few seconds of blindness…
I yawned lazily, rubbing my eyes and cautiously looking around to observe my environment.

I was in my room….
My room, the thought of that crossed my mind and I sat up instantly.

Memories of yesterday flooded my mind and I smiled to myself, I remember how each of them tool turns to fuck the living day light out of me and I shivered to the way it made me feel.

I tried to get up from the bed but I felt sharp pains down my thighs.

Ouch…. I growled, my body trembled causing me to fall back onto the bed.

Great, my body hasn't recovered yet from yesterday's wild moments. I rested for a while before finally getting up from the bed and helping myself to the bathroom.

Today was Saturday, I screamed excited about the adventure that lay ahead for me. Plus I needed to go shopping and just enjoy a moment alone with myself.

I decided to call Vanessa as I would need a partner for my adventures today.

I tried to call but she didn't pick up and I sent a voicemail straight up.

“Hi girlee, free for shopping today? Call me back if you can make out time.” I hung up almost immediately. Taking my bath and preparing before leaving my room.

I thought about the triplets and blushed, they weren't so bad after all. I was amazed at how passionate they were about me.

I tried to wave that feeling off my mind and focus on finding something to do. I was starving already. But I heard the triplets saying something about me in the dining room and I paused to hear what they had to say.

“Alicia… mehn she was so good.” Arnold complimented.

“Yh…” Alex scoffed.

“Yep.” Adrian added and they all seemed focused on what they were doing.

“Is that all? Nothing special about it at all?” He asked and his brothers lifted their gaze to him.

“Nobody ever said that, besides we were all under the influence of the party vibes and alcohol.” Alex muttered.

“Besides, things are better off the way they were before now.” Adrian added, clearing the dishes.

I didn't need to see their faces before knowing what each one of them had said

I felt enraged for reasons I didn't know. Did they think I was some sort of joke? I was their mate for crying out loud, why would they say things like that about me and it was at that moment I remember when I had publicly rejected knowing them, a wave of guilt hovered around me but I quickly put that aside and walked into the kitchen.

The moment they sensed I was there, they stopped their conversation and Arnold gave me a faint smile.

“Good morning sleeping beauty.” He smirked..

“Morning..” I replied.

“How are you feeling today?” Adrian asked and I felt like he was faking concern about me. I looked deep into his eyes and they were filled with the same passion and tenderness from yesterday. I shook my head, hell no! There's no way I'm falling for that trick again.

“I'm fine.” I snapped

“What's wrong with you?” they all asked and I let out a long breath before my eyes.

“Look you don't have to fake sympathy or pretend you actually like me because of whatever happened yesterday.” I snorted.

“What are you talking about?” Arnold bickered confused as to why I suddenly woke up angry like I had a personal issue or something.

“What I'm saying is, it's just sex and you y'all don't have to pretend as though you liked me for even one second.” I said loud enough for anyone hearing my voice to know that I was not okay!

It felt as though I had been rejected by my mates and the sting hurt down to my bone marrow.

I took my own share of the breakfast and stormed out of the kitchen, angry at myself for even giving them a chance into my world.

Just then my phone rang and it was Vanessa, I hurriedly picked up the phone call suppressing all my anger and frustration.

“Hey what's up. Heard you wanted to go shopping.” Her voice from the other end.

“Yh, are you free?” I asked.

“Sure, I'll see you at the coffee shop down your lane by twelve noon.” She replied. After a short while of talking she hung up the phone and I decided to eat my breakfast. I wasn't going to let anyone ruin the bright day I had ahead of me. Not even the triplets..

As I walked through the living room and out to meet Vanessa I could see their eyes following my every move.

“And where do you think you are going?” Alex barked.

“Firstly, I don't owe you any explanation, secondly I'm not a kid so I don't need a babysitter.” I snapped but he grabbed my hand before I could even saluter away.

“What did you say?” He asked, this time around his expression grew darker and his fangs out, I gulped down as I felt my stomach twitch. Just then his brothers came to my rescue pulling Alex back and I used that opportunity to slip out of the house.

What the heck was that about?

I called Vanessa who had been waiting for me at the coffee stand for a while now and the second she saw me, her face turned to a frown.

“What took you so long?” She asked, wearing a worried expression.

“I'm sorry, I dozed off.” I lied.

“Ohh, you never really told me you leave with the triplets.” she squealed.

“Seriously?” I snickered.

“They are so hot and cute I once had a crush on all of them.” She laughed. “But you've not told me yet. Who are you to the triplets?

I crossed my arms and looked away. “Uhmm… the triplets. We are…” the word took forever to slip out of my mouth but eventually it did.

“We are soon-to- be step siblings “ I shrugged, my words smooth and direct.

“Hold on, I don't get it.” she stated.

“My mum is getting married to their dad soon, so that means we are going to become step siblings.” I explained further…

“Oh, why didn't you say that out earlier? I mean you let yourself pass through all those humiliations from Claudia because she felt you were attracted to the Trio squat.” She narrates but I wasn't even paying attention to what she was saying.

My mind was solely on the triplets and what was Alex trying to do? Hit me or what?

“Alicia, can you even hear me?” Vanessa frowned.

“I'm sorry, I got trapped in thoughts…” I apologize. We got ice-cream there and licked to our fill, of which I paid off. Then we headed towards the boutique where I saw varieties of and most of them cost almost an arm!

Good thing I now had a limitless card. I slipped the card through the payment machine and got all the dresses I needed and even got Vanessa a few dresses and she thanked me so many times on our way back home..

Well now I had a driver so I asked us to drop her off first before heading towards our own house.

“Bye Licai. See you on Monday.” She waved and I waved back at her before returning home.

When I got home, there was no one at home….

I glanced around but there was not a single soul. I shrugged, unbothered about their whereabouts and just went into my room to check out the pretty clothes again.

They all fit perfectly. I squealed and at that point I began to miss my mother. Normally, she'd be the one to help me get the dress off but how, she was nowhere to be since. I tried to reach her mobile phone but it wasn't connecting. Frustrated, I pushed the phone and laid back on my bed to rest when I started to feel a rather intense burning sensation all over my body.

I screamed as it seemed like the pain was increasing every second and I growled in pain succumbing to the pains that had taken over my bo
dy.. but this pain was familiar and oddly not strange.

It was the pain that came with one's partner cheating on them!
